LeCuvier started following Dora CB Cover Keybinding
-
I looked at this and saw that the command is default-bound to "RWin + C". My German keyboard doesn't have a "Right Windows" key, so I bound the command to "RShift + C". I also bound it to a button on my Joystick. Both work fine here.

Title says it all really. All generic RAF squadron codes have 'always' been wrong in DCS WW2 aircraft. Port-side only. It would've taken about 25 seconds research to see that historical RAF codes always had the 2-letter squadron code 'before' the roundel. followed by the individual aircraft letter 'after' the roundel. This is a huge oversight and I'm sure, one that would've easily been fixed but never has. Is there hope that this can indeed be fixed?

CMWS has been awhile for a long time. I remember walking into my hanger back in Jan 2005 and had birds getting the A-kits installed for CMWS before my sister battalion deployed to Afghanistan. We also had CMWS installed on our aircraft when I deployed for the first time in 2007. I put some photos up also...The 2 pictures; one with ESSS installed and the one with the cockpit doors open are from 2006/2007 time frame. You can see the CMWS EOMS housing on the nose. The one of my taking a preflight fuel sample is in Iraq between Sep-Nov 2007, no combat patch yet. You can see the flare bucket right behind my shoulder. The last pic I took of our chalk 2 while flying in Iraq. You can see all the CMWS stuff on it back in OIF 07-09.

Never happened in any flights before that, so seemed odd, and the DCS crash at the end may well be the story behind it. Just saw no point in re-flying it IF it was going to happen evey time, but sounds like it won't..

[2.9.17.11733] 68-494 or 68-495 fuel system?
Stickler replied to Stickler's topic in Bugs & Problems
First of all, I really appreciate the new EFB feature. Good job! With regard to the original questions: The fuel quantities in the cells as per the EFB strongly point to a 68-495 fuel system, albeit without the tank depressurization switch. Open. Very low priority in my opinion. I was not able to attain the aircraft state depicted in the manual showing the wings as well as cells 5 and 6 empty but the remaining cells essentially full. I do not have access to sufficient RL material to determine whether this indicates a problem with the manual or the fuel system modelling. With regard to the additional question brought up, I could find no evidence that the fuel state as per the EFB or the fuel state indicated on the fuel totalizer is influenced by external temperature or air pressure in the game. -

Don't think it is modelled. Maybe with damage but otherwise I don't remember ever having jammed guns.

Just flew (IIRC) Mission 9 of the Yalu Campaign where ~24 Sabres head North on an Intercept of Mig-15s at ~30k. All went great until the merge, when I went to squeeze off a couple bursts and after 1st short burst it spit out a few rounds for the 2nd, then no guns. Put the heater on, dove down to low alt, nothing. See 0 damage, all gauges normal. RTB and then DCS locked up as I rolled down the runway... Will run again, maybe just a glitch or is this the mission every time its run?

So, I decided to try somebody else's work for a change and I enjoyed the hell out of the first mission - despite the fact that long ferry flights and formation flying is probably at the bottom of the list regarding things I like to do. The dialogue is good, its easy to understand what you want the player to do, I have my highly personal reservations about your aircraft not being visible on the map but that's just me and while I have this bad habit of not finishing Campaigns I started, I just wanted to say its a great first impression, turning what could be a fairly dull mission into something both immersive and interesting; especially as you have to do it all from the back seat. Looking forward to getting back from my errands today and try out Mission 2. Since I always tend to assume people are like me - and I like to see other players attempt my Campaigns - I started a play through on my Youtube Channel. You can find it here:

We have not figured out how to automatically lower the ramp of the CH-46D via mechanimations, anyone with insight into this please let us know! But we've added some custom configuration options to the liveries to make up for this:

At DCS startup i get this error [[ERROR]] : [c_core::function + 329]
