  1. Past hour
  2. Hi guys, I hope everybody is enjoying the Fulcrum as I am. As usual I decided to make a Quick Checklist and, this time, a bit closer to the real one. Anyway, it is a two page checklist. Although it is on vs 1.0, I guarantee that I tried at least a dozen versions before that... LOL Here goes the first page as example: It is available on the MiG-29A Fulcrum Quick Checklist on the User Files Download page. I hope you like it. All the best, Sydy
  3. I'm having the same issue with my Sidewinder FFB2. If I figure it out I'll post it here.
  4. This is noted in the patch notes, under the expect 'First week patch updates'
  7. Currently, when using DCS in VR with QuadViews and eye-tracking (for foveated rendering, e.g. with PSVR2), the built-in SSAO option does not render correctly. The effect is limited to the inner foveated square, leaving the peripheral region without ambient occlusion. This breaks visual consistency and makes SSAO unusable in this setup. It would be great if the engine/runtime could be adjusted so that post-processing effects like SSAO (and ideally others relying on depth) are applied correctly across the entire composited VR view, not only within the inner QuadView tile. At the moment, it is also not possible to solve this issue externally using mods such as ReShade or VREM, because the exposed depth buffer is incomplete and does not contain valid data outside the inner tile. This makes it technically impossible to achieve a proper full-frame SSAO effect without changes at the engine/runtime level. This is particularly important because QuadViews with eye-tracked foveated rendering is cutting-edge technology, and very likely the future of VR rendering. DCS is already ahead of the curve by supporting this technology, and ensuring that core post-processing effects like SSAO work seamlessly with it would reinforce DCS’s position as a frontrunner in high-end VR simulation. Please consider improving SSAO compatibility with QuadViews + eye-tracking. Thanks for your attention and for a great sim.
  8. I’m so confused!! So I purchased the NS430 module, I guess you guys call this the “base” module and I have the checkbox checked in the ME but it doesn’t show up? So in reading here do you have to purchase another Addon for the MiG29A? If so where is it? I looked under Other and in the Planes and cannot see an option to purchase this if needed. Thank you and sorry I’m not understanding this whole thing. Thank you
  9. Just tried some more troubleshooting and noticed that this is only happening while in VR. I'm able to cold start as normal when not in VR.
  10. Да, прошу прощения, это я исключительно из игры терминологией пользуюсь, вероятно она несколько отличается от реальной.
  11. Уходят на 10м отрицательной высоты. Сегодня проверил.
  12. This looks so, so good. Really can't wait!!
  13. It's hard for me to get excited about WWII Marianas until the GFM is a reality. Especially with the radio silence, not having any idea what to expect. Is it a possibility for sometime in 2026? Later?
  14. One (1) Request - may curtail some questions from this MiG newbie [me] in the future. 1. Consider a more consistent organization of the Flight Manual by replacing key commands with either their actual system function, or action, in explanations. You can make an applicable key command legend below each section, but get it out of the narrative, please - it's confusing. [Example pic attached - TDC? / KEY [L]? / Is it called RESET?]
  15. really? ... I remember having explicitely asked about it and a Moderator answered that it would be encrypted, I would have purchased it at EA price if I had known I know its a lot, but can you please test and tell me if you are able to load the Mig-29 cockpit on the Model Viewer 2, like this? Thank you +1 ... totally agree with you on this
  16. In VR it's not so great actually. Compared to the F15E that is. I tend to leave it off where in the eagle i almost always use it.
  17. In single player, the IFF recognizes friendlies fine. On online servers, IFF will not recognize friendlies, neither AI nor human. 4YA_CAU_PVE_V2.143[03_DEC_BKN]-20250920-164637.trk
  18. Sorry about that. I have added the logs. Wasn't sure if you needed them. I went through them and couldn't find anything, as did the support team. But feel free to check, all help is welcome.
  19. Yes, there is
  20. That is the built in DCS radio system. Not SRS. SRS has to add individual module support aftered they are added to the game.
  21. Following the procedure from the manual, I cannot acquire a lock using the Lock On/NWS button. Master Arm on Radar in Illuim mode RAD Mode Inboard Missiles selected Span adjusted to target size Bandit strobes visible (single 3-dot line) Position Target acquisition box over strobe Press Lock On/NSW Nothing happens. I can only get locks using IR missiles with Optical Electronic sight. Radar will not lock.
  22. I've renamed the mission editor folder to MissionEditor.old and my secondary shadows were already off and still no getting into DCS. Edit: I even removed the MissionEditor folder completely from my Saved Games folder. Still nothing...
  23. Maybe a dumb suggestion, but on the new pc did you remember to set your resolution to include the total screenspace of all screens? And in the VR settings, check the box for “use system resolution”? Your monitor file looks to be fine. Exports still working fine in 2d for me, haven’t tried mixed reality for a long while, but I kept screenshots of my settings I used to make it work.. I will post them up a bit later on.
  24. The actual amount, is rather irrelevant in itself. What is important, is the amalgamation of aircraft design, mission and ultimately execution. For reference, SR-71 had loads of fuel (140k lbs as I remember). However, if you watch a interview with any former of its pilots, they all state very clearly, that for the pilot, the main task was to fly such that you were fuel efficient. Often, the success of a mission, and safe return depended on whether the pilot was able to have the aircraft consume less fuel by adjusting the intake spike geometry, speed and altitude for a more optimal flight profile. Hence, what I'm saying is that you are having a wrong mentality with regards to the MiG-29. It can perform CAP for a good amount of hours, however, given the limited number of weapons and how they are deployed, it ought to be thought of as a interceptor, with a typical combat radius of no more than 200km (this also depends, it's normally a function of how far it is inbetween nearby airfields). When you then consider that you can pull at least 1200km (internal fuel only) at a high-high-high profile, then 200km, even 600km combat radius is not bad at all. There are also immense benefits of such an airframe. You will never really end up in a A-A engagement feeling that you are overweight (unless kitted out for A-G). Should you have "too much fuel", kick in the AB and, just like Su-27, see the engines make you lighter faster and more agile at a faster rate, than your opponent. Then again, stick to what you are meant to do. In a A-A configuration, you often don't need AB to outmatch your opponent. You use it, only to handle the threat in the shortest amount of time possible. A bit of practice, and you'll see what I mean
