investigating Trim HAT to sensitive
EricJ replied to 303_Tees's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Good, because trim seems borked anyway, good to see I wasn't imagining things. -

I add the this problem is only visible in cockpit view and outside views are ok, witrhout flickering. It sees that gamma changes and scenery switch from darker to lighter and viceversa

right click on the object, the assign.. option is the one

Hi there is it possible fix the MiG-17PM in the next update? It seems some textures are missing. And a MiG-21 PF will be also great!

Aber nur wenn man sein Windows mit einem Microsoft-Account verknüpft und das habe ich nicht und will ich auch nicht.

Most likely a bug in this case, because this message should disappear as soon as the WOW switch senses that the plane is in the air. Bernt Stolle Art for Sale | Fine Art America

The Jittering appearance is the ghosting itself. The factor is the values (color) involved. It is a bit difficult to picture it with words, I understand. Tested with DLAA and MSAA 2X. The missile is properly attached to the wingtip rail. With temporal anti aliasing it looks detached because of some details of the rail remains with stationary appearance because of ghosting. Everything should wobble but together. (F-16s loaded wingtips are very wobbly) It is just the nature of the beast (temporal anti aliasing) as of today.

First, just do the overhead turn at 350-400knots. This part is normal. Then, let’s split downwind part into 2phase. Phase 1. 180-190knots and try to get level flight. Don’t slow down too much. 180-190knots will give u plenty of lift to get level easily. Phase2. That’s the tricky part. U need to hold the nose Steady and slow down to on speed aoa. Aoa can be affected by 2 factors, throttle and trim. When u push up the throttle aoa will decrease. When u move ur throttle back aoa will increase. So u need to hold ur nose steady to tell which part u need to change: if nose goes down or up then aoa is mostly changed by trim. U need to trim ur plane out. If nose is steady but aoa is changed then u need to move ur throttle. Before the base turn u need to find that balance of throttle and trim—— nose steady and aoa on speed. During the base turn, u can still use this method to get on aoa or slightly fast. when u finally on the final approach, u need to firstly aim for a proper decent rate. dont rush to get on perfect aoa again. Ur trim is ok don’t change that too much since u already trimmed out during downwind. Slowly move throttle to get aoa on speed. The method stay the same. If nose is not steady and aoa is not on speed , do trimming. If nose is steady and aoa is not on speed, do ur left hand job. When u are 50ft above the runway, flare.( at this point aoa will decrease since the ground effect. U can use that as a sign of flare moment.) u need To throttle back slowly now. Otherwise, u will level up and land long. But don’t move it too fast or hold back stick too much, don’t go beyond on speed aoa. Do it this way , u don’t need to go in fast and still can make ur backseat ugly guy scream and admire u. Hopefully, this method can help someone who love f-4 but hate jester’s mean landing comments.

Thanks i manage to fix it. Hello mates. I want to make a panel with blacklight which i can control it with DCS bios. i will use a 4CH MOSFET. I take an example the Heuy Overhead Console Panel Lights Brightness. -I need as input: DcsBios::Potentiometer brtConsole("BRT_CONSOLE", PIN); -And as output: void onBrtConsoleChange(unsigned int newValue) { /* your code here */}DcsBios::IntegerBuffer brtConsoleBuffer(UH_1H_BRT_CONSOLE, onBrtConsoleChange); I need some help with the output. Where is should place it in the sketch?

Sorry to hijack this: How do you get the name of the map object in the first place? Is it a function of the "zone" object?

I had no idea which section to post this in, I tried GFN's forum but got no replies, so I'll try here instead. Does any one here who plays DCS on Geforce Now know a way to save/restore control bindings between sessions? I don't think there is a way tbh, so I won't likely be wasting much time with Geforce Now. Its garbage imo.

If i remember correctly, different tasks can vary in priority. So if you create multiple advanced AFAC tasks with different attributes, you should be able to rank priority based on the order they appear in the units task planer window.

Does DLSS make spotting other aircraft near impossible?
SaitouJaga replied to RyanR's topic in View and Spotting Bugs
Can't we disable them in the same way as HUD and MFD?? This is a real problem, the dots are not visible while moving. -

It's not stuttering, rather, the mirrors seem to have a hardcoded very low refresh rate, presumably to minimize the overall framerate hit that the mirrors produce. Unfortunately there's no way around this. I really wish both mirror resolution and refresh rate could be set by the player rather than hardcoded! I find the low resolution, low refresh rate mirrors very distracting and immersion breaking -- not just in the MiG-29 but across all modules.

I have stuttering in the mirrors only. Anyone else also see this ?

Thanks for testing this out, Rudel! Lets hope someone at ED (or ORBX?) see this. @BIGNEWY
