  2. Post the lua code. This can be solved easily. Then post a pic of your file folder contents so we can see the names of the files.
  3. ok, i found a solution, i played arround with the fuse and timer and interval, and it works now. for me its now FMU-143/30ms with 0.10 sec interval
  4. Hi all, thanks for your replies and help, and sorry for the late answer, I was abroad for work. Here are my main settings now : PimaxPlay : Refresh Rate = 120 Hz Image Quality = High (no upscaling) GPU Upscaling = None Sharpness = 1 Quadviews : Customize 30/30/100/25 Central Priority Rendering = unchecked Smart Smoothing = unchecked Lock to Half Framerate = checked (120/2 = 60 FPS) Hidden Area Mask = checked DCS Cockpit Displays = 1024 Render Displays every frame = checked Anti-Aliasing = MSAA (4x) Upscaling = Off Sharpening = 0.0 (done with PimaxPlay settings) Pixel Density = 1 (no up or downscale) With those settings, I tried to avoid any upscaling (I hate ghosting effect and my 3090 is not as good as 4xxx or 5xxx gpu on this) and to reach a stable 60 FPS. Seems it's ok most of the time on my PC. I will need to try some complex mission but I tried on a busy supercarrier deck, above large cities (Beirut) or low level woods, etc. Quadviews is helping a lot even if I do not like the blurred external area. But I can live with that. Feel free to react or suggest if I am missing anything. Regards, Chris
  5. I'd like to add to the question, when? And maybe some winter textures with Phase 2? Winter is coming...
  6. I'm searching for the template too, but can't find it anywere appart from that "access denied" link on google... so annoying...
  7. Is it a bug or a feature? It's kinda frustrating. I look for targets with the TGP while the maverick is in PRE mode. If the maverick can't see the target it often (or always?) switch over to VIS mode, and then I lose track of where I am with the TGP. Is it possible to tell the maverick to NOT switch over in VIS mode, even though it can't see the target? My workaround atm is to switch over to another weapon, like a GBU12 or something, search for target, and dont switch back to the maverick before I know the maverick seeker can see it. This cannot be the right way, obviously I've added a track file if it is any help. f16_agm65_going to VIS while in PRE.trk
  8. Well, the DCS doesn't support curves and changes in saturation for FFB. This has been debated to death. It might not be too noticeable always, especially with newer hardware/telemetry software. Any change you do must be done in the hardware's software, and not in DCS. Can easily be observed when trimming helicopters. Unless, ED changed something the past nine months, which I highly doubt. Just think about it. Let's say you don't use any telemetry, and you apply curves/saturation. How will the FFB, (basically trimming), effects know how far to move the stick when curves do not align with the linearity of the FFB effects? That's why a lot of modules when coded incorrectly for FFB, especially helicopters, don't match the trimming at all at release, (the Gazelle had issues before the new FM), and you get an exponentially trimmed aircraft. Easily observed in the Controls Indicator. Cheers!
  9. No, that no have nothing to DCS. I dont need see a video talking about the "competence". ED mas making own DC, no a clon about BMS or other system with your own teams, resources.
  10. Well, you know what they say: "Get Good!" FWIW, I used to feel I was pretty skilled in DCS, but that was a long time ago. Nowadays, I don't think I would be worth a damn. It would take a lot of work for me to get back to the level where I think Multiplayer would be a possibilty. Maybe I still have enough in me to be the guy that flies a boring racetrack pattern in a C-130 tanker someday, on autopilot of course. There are options.
  11. For anyone who is still struggling with this - I found a solution that might work for some of you. I use FFBeast but it might help others who don't. In my case it turned out that having too much of a curve on the roll axis (in your DCS control settings) was the reason for the AFCS test fail. In my case a curve of 22 seems to be the maximum it will accept to have a successful AFCS test. Hope this helps!
  12. Hahaha. You missed the point. This thread is not about Enigma. And no one said it was. Watch the video before you start quoting forum rules. It is 100% on topic
  13. You can choose as opponent an Fw-190A It is only one aircraft against which the Corsair can more or less successfully carry out dogfight. This 'brilliant' aircraft is even more helpless in DCS
  14. I'm just not very good at this and probably never will be. The last thing I want to do is screw it up for others cause I can't do my job. If I get shot down or fly into the side of a mountain, I laugh at myself for being a dumbass and start over.
  15. Well aint that something... so whos gonna do developing for these modules now? ED? Whats the plan....
  16. Yes I'm spending the next few months playing with L2MUM in the Kiowa and MQ9 Reapers. More for this integrated gameplay will only help the product, esp in the military realm.
  17. Would not give me any feeling of accomplishment. To an organized group those random human opponents are less challenging and less realistic than the otherwise very challenged DCS AI.
  18. I love MP PVP as it's much more fun with real people. "AI" just doesn't offer any challenge. Only thing putting me off is the massive problems with performance, desync and imbalances between red- and bluefor. Without any modern redfor aircraft this imbalance will just increase more and more.
  19. Are you sure? Tried any trimming in helicopters? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  20. To jest anglojęzyczna część Forum / This is the English-language part of the Forum. I agree about the deceleration, but not about the power and perfomance. A very good example: You also need to look at other modules that the MiG-29 in DCS can be compared to.
  21. Many of you are talking about the chaos of "open" servers, and you make fair points. In the groups I am familiar with in DCS, they were the mostly the opposite, with individuals such as myself sometimes taking off the uniform of the squad to dabble on the open servers. The squad nights themselves were closed members-only servers with missions and scenarios designed by veritable expert Mission Makers. During "mission nights", the paradigm was definitely Dead Is Dead. So your stupid wingman gets you killed, and well, goodnight guys, see you next week. These were very hardcore groups that made such an effort to do things "realistically" that, for a computer game, it could border on the absurd at times. I wanted realism to a point, but it's not a second career. For some people, I suspect that's exactly what they want. While boring as hell at times, honestly, that is the environment where you really learn your stuff, and hence why I went the Milsim route in the first place...to get better. The good news, at least I think, is there are much more casual groups out there. As far as open servers, if you get a group of half a dozen people together that know what they're doing, including an organic GCI person, you can just go in there and kick the living daylights out of the whole lot of them. It's very fun. As an independent operator though, I wouldn't have a clue how to get on an Open server and find wingmen or crewmembers. Maybe that just comes down to extroverts vs introverts but thats one reason why it can be really beneficial joining a familiar squad vs just showing up and trying to find friends for a session. Your choices are generally Larry, Curly, or Moe. There are a lot of different possibilities in MP.
  22. Today
  23. Has anyone had issues running this mod since the latest update? I was able to launch the mod, but wasn't able to enter the cockpit or fly. I wasn't sure if there was a compatibility issue with the latest DCS update or maybe something else is going on?
  24. There is no question, for me especially, that DCS is painfully lacking in the Dynamic Campaign/immersion arena. But it will come. I'm just pointing out that it is a taller order (within the extremely diverse DCS ecosystem) than a lot of folks give it credit. BMS had almost nothing to do by comparison... but it did that feature extremely well, no doubt about it.
  25. Don’t forget these values in most cases are given for ratio 69:1 bar or 1000:14,5 in psi. Chamber pressure vs ambient pressure, with full expansion of gases, and without losses in divergent zone of nozzle Same as Russian motors and propellants, only in ratio 40:1 which is Russian standard
