Frustration among customers is growing, and it’s not hard to see why. For months now, all we’ve heard are vague reassurances: “We’re doing our best,” “We hope it works out,” “The modules still function.” But those words are starting to ring hollow. People aren’t looking for vague promises anymore ... they’re asking for real action. Empty hope doesn’t fix the situation, and every day that passes without a resolution further damages the community’s trust in Eagle Dynamics. This isn’t about drama... it’s about accountability. We’re not just going to quietly accept being left in this mess. If ED truly values its players, it’s time to step up and deal with this properly. Hope is not a solution. Silence is not support. The longer this drags on, the harder it becomes to believe that anything will actually be done.

Here's what you should be seeing at sea level with the parameters listed in the doc below - 358 mph / 1.150779 mph/kn ≈ 311.10 knots. Best I could get was about 302 knts. The disparity is even more pronounced at 19,900 as I stated above. null

reported Countermeasures dispenses all chaff flares

``` ALE-47 Power and Program Indicator. When the dispenser switch is set to ON, the selected release program type is displayed below the ALE-47 legend. There are 6 manual (MAN) programs that can be stored and edited. Semi-Automatic (S/A) and Automatic modes (AUTO) are also available that will select a program to match the threat and allow the pilot to initiate a program (S/A) or have the CMDS initiate a program automatically (AUTO). ``` Page 416 of the manual. Changes to the behaviour of net.dostring_in()
eekz replied to BIGNEWY's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Well... played with it a little bit. did net.dostring_in('export', return LoGetWorldObjects()) from mission's SSE hosted on the server. Returns empty string instead of a table. seems still can't call any custom functions declared in gui via net.dostring_in('gui', 'someCustomFunction()'), only net functions seem to work. can't really get the benefit of the change and how it supposed to work. maybe im stupid -
F-14 A/B feature follow-up, wish list and beyond
Ah, good to know. Are they even informed of these bugs? They never responded in the bug report section here on the forums. -
Am I doing something wrong? My sea level tests: 50% internal fuel. 56-59 MP, 2700RP, experimenting with fuel mixture. Without water injection, I get 303-304 knots ASL, which translates to 348-350mph or 563kmh. Seems right on the money there, if that chart is correct. With water injection, I get 317 knots ASL, 365 mph or 587kmh. I'm still not sure which fuel mixture works best, and to use when, but the numbers appear close to what they should be. I can take her up to 320 knots in a shallow dive. Why do you think we have such different results? Are your cowls tucked in?
This still happens when you go into AUTO mode, as of 7/26/20205. So it wasn't updated in the last patch. -
Amarok_73 started following Virpil Flnkr / Moza AB9 compatibility.
-
Sometimes - that was my scenario - the joystick grips comes from factory with wrong settings for analogue axles, and require correction/calibration in Virpil software so You should have also the Virpil base (or borrow one) to do it prior to connecting the grip to the Moza base.
I'd be surprised if the frame rate had any bearing on how often the buttons were checked. More or less any simulation or fast-paced game developed in the last 20 years has separated game logic update rate (checking inputs, updating object positions etc) from frame rate (how often the display is updated). Multithreading is a thing... -
OpenXR Toolkit 1.3.8 still usable as stand alone (not Steam)
Roosterfeet replied to StratosFalcon's topic in Virtual Reality
I've found that using Open XR Toolkit with Turbo enabled causes DCS to crash when I remove the headset. Does anyone not have that problem? Mubcchia said it was a Quest Link bug and would be a simple fix if Meta ever bothered to implement it. Wondering if a Quest update fixed that? -
Best response to this thread yet.
"Balance" Holds no value in a simulation environment other than taking away from you are trying to produce, a simulation. But I get your point of it!
I would like to see the French Crotale SHORAD system from CH in DCS. Yes, we have the Chinese HQ-7, but that's not the Crotale. The widespread use of Crotale also makes it interesting for mission building.
It sounds pretty easy to resolve from what ED and what Ron has said but from an outsiders viewpoints it seems like egos are the issue here. Certainly RBs performance has been very unprofessional - I've worked for years in software engineering and games development and never seen anyone behave like that - but it's gone on so long now that even a stalwart DCS fan since day 1 like myself is really not understanding how this has spiralled out of control or why a resolution hasn't happened within weeks of these issues between you coming to light and entirely outside of the public sphere.
Thanks - can confirm that works and passes IC for MP
Also to say that the trim is depending on the FPS of each individual computer. Signals from buttons only checked each frame. -
I miss a repair function for units and groups in the editor. Currently, this can only be solved with scripts, for example by deactivating the damaged group and spawning it again. I would welcome such a function in the Mission Editor, where I can determine after what time and up to what degree of damage a group or unit is ‘repaired’.
Reshade VR Enhancer Mod (VREM)
USA_Recon replied to lefuneste01's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Just to be clear you mean “no options from the home tab” right ? Selecting the option for Quadviews crashes DCS for me - ie when I restart DCS and load a mission it crashes I’m also not sure what the point of this option is ? Is it meaning, ie “only apply the shaders to the inner view” - what value does that bring ? - OR is the point of this option to enable selecting techniques, and why would I use techniques instead of just the addon settings ? Or is this meaning , don’t use the addon options, instead select the techniques in the home tab ? guess more explanation of this setting would be helpful -
did you try removing one of those drives? I mean I get it...I spent the better part of 6 months trying to fix DCS with similar issues and being frustrated not being able to play. I rarely fly nowadays because of this stuff, even more so because of VR. It turned out that park control was the only thing I needed, started fresh with DCS and no mods on a fresh M2 drive WITHOUT VR...no process lasso either. Only need one program running in the background and thats windows. Could very well be Nvidia's app or GeForce experience too. I havent tried DCS since the F4U came out, and even then only for like an hour. Havent even tried this patch yet, so honestly dont know what to expect, but Ill have to see for myself today too. Ill report back as well, but
Good ole TH motor - by mid '44 it was projected for a (delayed) serial production in May '45. Never materialized. By that time, Anton production was already ramping down and only Doras and Ta 152s were going to be built from mid '45 (June ~ July) onwards. Range and performance tables of Focke-Wulf (one I have is dated 15 March 45) never mention MW50 or GM1 for the 190A, while mentioning Erhöhte Notleistung for the Anton, MW50 for the Dora and GM1 and MW50 for the Ta 152C and H. BMW - Langenhagen Drift: Did BMW ever go to Langenhagen to do the integration of the GM1 second stage into the TH? When was the date of the report-excerpt you cherry-picked and at which time was the intergation performed and considered done?
I started on the ground, so from the outside view the canopy is open. I will try to close it and re-open to see if the works, maybe a re-install is needed.
