  1. Past hour
  2. Very sweet! I have one in the works as well with working pointer inside the knob. The pointer rotates at a much slower speed than the knob, as seen in the virtual cockpit. I hope to make it available soon. Still working out the right feel to it. Ignore the green color, this is just a prototype.
  3. You are correct about the wings spreading, but I was talking about the small flap that closes after the wings are down. The closing speed is slow even after engine is running and hydraulic pressure has built up.
  4. You can turn on the GBU-27s and 28s on in the Strike Eagle. Those and "other" weapons can be added and used.
  5. I had the same issue once not too long ago but it never repeated. I used DMS aft long to turn it off while I was looking about and then tried DMS aft long again to turn it on but it did not come on. I did the visor thing, the HMD knob. Again, it only happened once and I do use the HMD a lot to make markpoints, track A2A...etc I have no clue why it did that but I will keep it in the back of my head and try and get a file or video if it happens again.
  6. You can always shut it completely off and read it from your kneeboard, (I useopenkneeboard).
  7. Corsair is the first warbird I've gotten serious about, mostly been flying the Hornet. I found mapping the Corsair trims to hat switches felt less than ideal, so I decided to cook up some trim wheels. This uses three B10K rotary linear potentiometers ($10 for a 10 pack on Amazon), an Arduino Micro ($23), and the parts were printed out of PLA (less than $10 in filament), USB micro to type A connects it to the PC. I drew the wheels and box in CAD, had ClaudeAI help with the Arduino code and now I have a functional set of trim wheels, each assigned to an axis. null The wheels turn more or less the same amount as the wheels in the virtual cockpit, and placing it behind the throttle means my hands are pretty much where they show up in sim (using leap motion hand tracker). I don't know how long these cheap pots will last, but they work well now and the code filters out noise so they arenull solid and generally do what they're told to do. This is a first prototype, so its still a little janky. The neoprene pads around the wheel stems are there to increase friction. Working on a more elegant, internal solution. The wheels are a little smaller than the real wheels, next set I will make a little larger and may print them out of transparent polycarbonate. They are unmarked as I am always in VR, but putting position markers on them wouldn't be hard. Considering putting a tailwheel lock on a future version too. Sharing this just to see what other ideas people have to improve upon it, and I'm happy to share the CAD, code, and wiring if anyone wants to build something similar. This works for the P47 too and a similar setup could be adapted to pretty much any warbird.
  8. May come as a shock to Rudel (who has helped me too many times to count) but I have never, in 15 years of flying DCS, made a track file. I had to find a lesson Here is my track file. It now happens every time both with and without wingmen. Thanks! LastMissionTrack.trk
  9. AUTO should be centering the volume on the L&S At all times, no matter if the trackfile has radar contribution or not. As long as the radar is on and transmitting (not in SILENT) it should still provide command link's to the amraam. If it's not it needs to be reported what conditions is causing it not to.
  10. Well at least the video on the Steam store page shows Win 11 24H2. (@ 10s) That's great news isn't it? Huge!
  11. Well, I've done everything, I restarted the router and the download speed improved somewhat, but after 3-5 GB it DC again... I have to update periodically until the entire download is complete... there's no other option.
  12. Make sure you're switching from Reserve tank to Main and setting mixture to Auto-Lean once you're in the air. Also, watch your cylinder head temperatures and oil temperatures. The engine may die if it's run too hot for too long.
  13. It may depend on if your engine is running or not. If you spread the wings while the engine is on and idling they go faster since you've got hydraulic pressure.
  14. @Muchocracker L&S designation is fine, do you have info if current implementation (which is stated as WIP) already allows to launch, guide and hit MSI-only track by AIM-120 without locking the target with onboard radar? I've tried few times but no success so far.
  15. Thanks a lot! Great news. Can't wait.
  16. I’ve watched a few videos online of the Corsair spreading its wings and in all of them, the cover flap for the hinge pin closes in maybe a half second or less. In DCS, it’s very slow and takes several seconds. Just FYI. Nothing game-breaking here at all. Just a low-priority opportunity to speed up the startup sequence and add realism at the same time. Cheers! -GT-
  17. yes, you can walk around in the loadmaster slot while the plane is airborne.
  18. Thanks and good to know... But, it does not mention that it is compatible with the 11 24H2.
  19. Same.. no fix on CDU is a bummer.
  20. The last update from HB is at: https://discord.com/channels/1071433028045377637/1071574236403081287/1395028665775161364 According to the update, they are preparing a "big" release, therefore, they are going to miss in few releases. Yes, nothing is mentioned in discord.

  22. As concrete examples: - Meta XR simulator reports a FOV of 50 degrees upwards of center (well, 0.87266463 radians....) , and 49 degrees down, which is close enough to symmetrical for this to be subtle - My Quest Pro reports a much more substantial difference of 42 degrees up, 53 degrees down, so a crosshair that is put in the center of the render target without paying attention to the FOV angleUp/angleDown will be quite substantially off. These numbers are the angles provided to DCS by the runtime in the `xrLocateViews()` call - they are not a subjective measurement of my perceived field of view.
  23. Is it correctly working along the TWS auto mode? So good bye to having to go AUTo>MAN>AUTO again to L&S target outside current AUTO rdr coverage? I'm away on vacation and we'll be unable to test for at least 1 week :( Enviado desde mi RMX5011 mediante Tapatalk

  25. Thanks for the track! But I still don't understand the issue. For 2 minutes everything looks perfectly normal, and at the end I can't tell from the track what kind of inputs you're providing. The switching of SOI and SPI all throughout the track also makes it hard for me to understand what you're trying to show. At this stage I'll go ahead and say that everything looks to be working as intended as far as I can tell.
  26. I find a lot of problems with the harm missile and DCS world First off dismissal travels at Mach 2.9 The fastest I have ever seen in travel in DCS world is 680 mph Yesterday I noticed there is only point about 20 miles of ranges about 80 miles And mostly This is true Because the size of the missile it has a tiny tiny tiny radar cross-section Because the speed and the size is not likely to be picked up by radar
