  2. Do you realize that the mig-21, L-39 and Mig-29 were developed by separate companies and development teams? (Leatherneck, Belsimtek, and Eagle Dynamics)… how would you manage the issue of sharing their work? … To say nothing of the different development time-frames.

  9. I like hearing that. Many thanks.
  10. You guys have modeled the KPP ADI several times in different qualities (MiG-21, L-39, FC and now MiG-29). I wonder why you don't just make it right once and then re-use it everywhere. Issues with this one: - the horizontal scale should be printed on fabric (not on carbon or whatever that is) - the horizontal scale should be printed in bold letters - the flight director needle should be longer - the flight director needle should be curved (like a tube cut in half) - the circles should be bigger and thinner
  11. Hi. You're right, I got myself against the correct wordings for downwind prior to landing, but it was to illustrate what the point of trimming at that stage was to the aircraft. The wording can make people confused sometimes; "Trim for level on-speed AOA" Having the trimming idea detached from level flying can help someone getting the picture if they are stuck. Trim for AoA while pointing at throttle/power settings to ascend or descend instead can be used to illustrate that. Cheers Happy flying
  12. Please add indicators of where George has the controls when in command of the aircraft so we can adjust our physical controls to a like position before we take over the aircraft. Like the Kiowa has.
  13. I still have both problems. I CTD and the game sent the crash file automatically. I cant save the track file because I crashed right out of the game. I was simply switching from hellfires to rockets and then crashed. I did run the slow repair successfully but still crashing the game. Sorry should have mentioned I am playing mission 1 on the outpost campaign. I take out the ZU technical's with the hellfires and switch to rockets for the Hummvees and then I crash.
  14. That only works for the F-14. For F-18 you've always had to salute AFAIR.
  15. It's definitely not a mouse job - just as your video demonstrates the movement is relatively jerky. Wags clearly uses something else. If you use slow rate for keyboard it still slews about 10 times faster than what it needed for a smooth, slow cinematic shot. And with the mouse it's just a none starter. You can't have a perfectly smooth angular rotation with the mouse. Appreciate your efforts but the result is definitely not the same. Yeah with regards to the AI and graphical features very true. It's just strange that the camera views are unique as well. Though Wags hasn't actually used that slow rotating shot for a very long time now in his videos.
  16. What a waste of time and resources. The PCB's have the lowest quality of components soldered to them and who would put a high priced 4090 die on such an inferior carrier PCB ? But hey, if you like playing it hot, here's a perfect game.
  17. Hi all, i have found a way to edit the color of the NVG. I just tested this for the F18 but this should apply to any NVG. Find the following file: ...DCS World\Bazar\shaders\PostEffects\NVD_HDR.fx Open with Notepad++ and edit Go to line 115: result = dot(result, LUM) * 2 * color; Change it to: result = dot(result, LUM) * 2 * float3(0.5, 0.6, 0.7); creates a subtle cool, bluish-gray tone Save, Start/Restart DCS and enjoy Note: I also used Taz1004 adjustments for size, blur and noise.

  20. Not sure if this is your thought max. this is one of the several i know. https://github.com/Benisgo/Symbolic11
  21. Thank you. DCS also does sharpening at the same time as DLSS. How does that play with sharpening on Pimax? I'm still trying to get the best out of the Crystal Light.

Highly recommend this squadron - loving my time here in the VFA-102!
  24. Proper technique is to be trimmed for level on-speed AOA flight during the downwind. The OP should practice power manipulation from this starting point to see what it does in this stable trimmed condition. Once the OP is comfortable with this, then the transition to entering on-speed AOA from a non level attitude will be much easier. Cheers, John
  25. It’s still way easier now than manually programming it. Is it perfect? No. Does it work? Yes. Guess what, even IRL things are not perfect all the time.
  26. You expect too much from users. That was the point. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  27. No such option for supercarriers.
