wrong. I always set the the SOI (not SPI) to the HUD first. But I don't trust the tracks. Why are you talking about waypoints? When the target is at a waypoint I don't need to go through the process I have described in my original post. -
Well i think you are into something. Maybe thats the issue there I think what you said is possible to be how in DCS the FMU-140 calculates HoB (Height of Burst), it uses the SlantRange. But i dont think that is correct, if it does that its an error. First of all, if we compare to other cluster bombs like the CBU-87. That has the FZU-39/B that works with setting a HoB too. If you use it on DCS set at 1500, it releases at 1500ft AGL. (if you have the F16, I added a track i did that day to see if there was any difference with the CBU87 Radar Fuze) And i dont think the FM-140 is different. As you can see cleary here it has in the picture a setting for HoB. May I correct the correction... The default binding "RWin + C" does not work. But "RShift + C" works fine, and also a game controller button works.

I think I heard an explanation that a Vietnam map cannot be done until technology advances more. Something about not currently being able to properly do a multi-layer forest canopy. Why not do an interim Vietnam Map (circa 1965 to 1972) with a forest canopy similar to that in the mountains of the Caucasus map and texture the forest floor to look like lower canopy. The interim map could be primarily for jets, not 'slow and low' helos and ground vehicles. Doesn't mean they can't fly on the map, they just might not have the best scenery at their level. But something is better than nothing. The main thing would be to have the 7 detailed air bases as shown on my pictured map above and a detailed Hanoi area and coastal flatlands areas. Then as technology improves, sell a version 2 of the map. Can it be at least considered to make us an interim Vietnam map to somewhat coincide with whenever Grinnelli's F-100D is ready?

In the Fuze menu there is a Text Error that mislead the user. There is a timer setting called Airburst Delay but it should be Arming Timer The former is incorrect because is not a time delay after the canister opens. Is a Arming Delay, as in any other bomb, after the bombe leaves the pylon Should be easy and quick to change, as is only text BTW Airburst Altitude should be changed too. Altitude is MSL, but Height is AGL. And that difference can be huge in aviation. In the FUZE-39/B manual this is called HoB (Height Of Burst), as in other CBU with similar sensors, not Altitude Of Burst. Regards!

Начал осваивать модуль. Возникло несколько вопросов по работе сенсоров: 1) На ПУР выбран режим "Изл", на ПСР - "НВГ". Или "ТП". Или даже "Шлем". Радар при этом излучает или прекращает излучение? Противник на своем RWR излучение увидит? 2) На ПСР выбран режим "РЛ", а на ПУР - "Откл". Радар при этом автоматически не включится же? 3) База цели на ПСР значима только с точки зрения настроек взрывателя ракеты? На обнаружение/захват цели неправильно выставленная база не влияет же? 4) Компенсационный режим РЛС - для чего используется? 5) Режим "ВЗМД" - как правильно использовать? Включить и не париться, пусть сенсоры сами разбираются, кому когда захват держать, или есть еще тонкости?

Logs will show errors but not all are critical, as long as your dcs is running again its a positive step. Feel free to attach a fresh dcs log. thanks

Many errors in the logfile were generated by mods which I installed several months ago and never caused any issues. However, I just had a look into the Wolf mod and the entry.lua looks indeed a bit strange. But wolf was also loading fine and available in the game since I installed it several weeks ago. I'll keep it quarantined for now. Anyway I moved most user mods to a backup directory and only installed a few required ones to Saved Games/DCS. My logfile is much shorter now but still contains error messages, even when loading DCS Core mods. Many of them are value reading errors (like a negative value was read for a parameter only allowing positive values ect.) but seem to not cause any further issues.

It's built into the game but the server (host) has to have it enabled, clients have to have it enabled (audio settings) and configure keybinds (PTT) for it to use.

Do you have a timeframe for the A-6? As much as I like the early 135-GR Tomcat (indeed you need to approach missions differently with the old RWR gear, great experience), it was a bummer to see that the Intruder, that has first been teased seven years ago ("shoulder to shoulder" video, as a sidekick for the F-14), was not included in the last update. Which was expressly promised. Really looking forward to the tadpole. And question #2 : Will the tanker version of the Intruder be included in the AI Intruder release?

True, it is susceptible, but not to the extent it does right now. Just one or two chaff is enough to spoof the missile, sometimes, even that is not required. The current implementation of the new seeker model seems way off.
