SuperKermit started following Manouvring Kills

I really would like to get manouvring kills being awarded. When an an opponent looses control and crashes in a dogfight that should count as well as a kill. It’s quite frustrating when he flies into the ground while heavy manouvring and you are just left without any credits.

Overall got 16 Kills in the eagle -
nullJust Finished The Georgian War, and I have to Say,this Might be A must fly Campaign is you have the Eagle in your DCS library The Missions feel well thought out and integrated,it feels like you're in a Warzone,Not just a Shoot and Fly like the Bear trap Campaign Included in the FC3 Eagle,And the Learning curve is a Nice touch. Voice acting is great if not better than in Hollywood movies, You are not just Tom cruise in an Eagle instead an actual Player in a Warzone. The Long flights are Not at all boring,as you have your Obnoxious wingman to poke you and ask you questions. There's a Vibrant cast of Men on the ground and air. other than the Russian Bandits, you have Georgian Frogfoots ,Hinds and Hips, fellow Eagles, Globemasters, Magic and even Abhkazian L-39s and Fishbeds. I wish Baltic Dragon continued to make campaigns....

Ouky1991 do you know if your darker Normandy mod should still work after the next Normandy update? thanks
-
Not really, Mirage radar can properly tell what height the target is at, and what height you are scanning, and can assist navigation in low vis condition. Mig radar in comparison needs gci assist to be properly used. Use it as search radar then you lose spo-15 entirely, becoming a blind bat. And the acm mode of mig currently have a very low chance of picking a target (not sure if it's a bug), whereas for mirage every acm mode works fine.

RedFor needs the SU 17/MiG 27 and a MiG 23 for a Cold War scenario. FC3/4 would be a quick solution. I think that's a good suggestion.

The damage radius of conventional bombs seem to be greatly exaggerated against scenery objects. Below you'll see a screenshot of the result of a pair of Mk84 and a pair of Mk82. Entire neighborhoods are catching fire with just a single pair. It seems to affect a specific set of objects in the scenery. So either something about the bombs should be changed. Or perhaps an increased damage tolerance for those specific scenery objects.

Weather mod v2.0 for DCS
bandit648 replied to bandit648's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
We need ED to work on the back end cloud rendering system to get cloud shapes like that. I've already pushed the current engine to its limits in terms of what's possible. That being said, I have made some improvements to thunderstorms and lightning for the next update.- 456 replies

Thanks both. Yes, if you had destroyed the entire column of vehicles, you'd have gotten another 5 points. But that is really hard. In any future campaigns, I'll make sure to set up the debriefings so that you can see what you didn't get points for. Technically, it won't matter whether you return home at 26 or 28 as long as you remain within the upper and lower limits of the direction you're traveling. I've now fixed this discrepancy so that it can be pushed out with the next update. Thanks for letting me know.

Those are probably gone already as he says the fresh installation is already done. Do you have a backup of "My Documents".

I was wrong about the DIRCM not working at all. It does indeed not work at all on IRIS-T and AA missiles for no reason, but maybe this will hopefully be corrected in the future, cause all IR missiles are badly affected by a heating laser on their seeker. The DIRCM's field of work has been drastically reduced though (after some X update) from some 90 degrees (45 left/right/up/down) to just some 20 degrees (10 left/right/up/down) from the back of the plane and that's why I initially had the impression that it's not working anymore. It does, but it's almost useless as it only works on SAM IR missiles (except the faulty IRIS-T and AA missiles) if the incoming missile is within some maximum 10 degrees offset of the Su-25Ts centerline when closing in from behind. Here are the tracks: Thank you! AA missiles are unaffected by DIRCM.trk DIRCM limited to only 20deg from around 100deg.trk IRIS-T also unaffected by DIRCM.trk

I understand that they are very busy with many other things, I imagined that too and now I get it that they don't have time to prove me wrong and make a track proving the opposite of what I say. So I did this track now. Indeed, I haven't tested enough two things: 1. The preventive flares drop before an IR sam is launched indeed works. I've made topic about it and I'll quickly post this same track there to prove I was wrong about that as I've only got that feeling while playing missions and never took time to do a thorough test like I did now! 2. The DIRCM indeed works giving some 90% chance of avoiding an SAM IR missile coming from the back, but NOW (after some update) the DIRCM's effective cone is reduced from some wider angle (maybe it was 90 degrees in the past) to just around 20 degrees (10 degrees left, 10 degrees right and up/down). This was the reason why I had the impression that it's not working anymore, simply because I didn't find out during casual play that the missile must fly almost straight from the back in order to be somewhat affected by the DIRCM. Besides the fact that the DIRCM doesn't rapidly heat up the missile's seeker (I'm aware that this isn't simulated at all, like a function of lock loss over time), the effective cone on the DIRCM seems absurdly low in degrees of field. like I said, some maximum 10 degrees offset from the aircraft's centerline. On the other hand, speaking of DIRCM, the IRIS-T at the moment is not affected at all by the DIRCM's laser, no matter the angle and alignment with the Su-25T when chasing it from the back. Also the AA missiles behave the same like IRIS-T and never get blinded/heated and never loose lock on the target. Tracks provided for this as well. Thanks! AA missiles are unaffected by DIRCM.trk DIRCM limited to only 20deg from around 100deg.trk IRIS-T also unaffected by DIRCM.trk

yes, but make sure to do a backup of the /saved games/ folder, to keep your missions, logbook, keybinds, etc (the keybinds will need a file rename, as they depend on the USB ID of windows, which will change with a new windows)

I didn't observe any issues with the A-10C TGP in BHOT or WHOT or with the AGM-65D or AGM-65G or their respective TGMs lately. If anyone of you who experiences this issue could record a short track and share that with us, and provide a screenshot or two, that would be quite helpful. -
No, can't say I ever have. I understand you're trying to give a comprehensive error description, but there are like a million questions. Like, what do you mean by "locking on to a SPI"? Did you mean you hooked the SPI in the TAD? Did you also make that sensor SPI Generator? What's the HUD's "little freak in out", how did that manifest? What do you mean by "HUD no response"? If you can create a short track of this issue, this would go a long way. You said "No switches changed", but besides what ASAP already suggested, did you double-check and can you confirm that the HUD mode switch on the AHCP was in the NORM position?

Thanks. Better than nothing I guess.

You were in the weapon tab of the DTC? Next to CMDS? It’s atleast whatWags says that weapon section is for, sorry I wasn’t super clear it was in the weapon section EDIT: Watching it again, I guess you are supposed to enter the waypoint whose altitude you plan to use….. as we’ve said, it seems to be temporary until it properly uses laser
