  2. Of course, and I hope to be there for the next 16 years... I think you've misunderstood my point: Without a clear consumer policy for third-party products, ED ensures that we only purchase modules endorsed by ED...
  3. this is not an easy one to reproduce, but the team are still working on it. thanks
  4. But it has not stopped working, we have ensured the modules work as is with DCS 2.9 for over a year already. Please ensure you have read our EULA that you agreed to when making your purchase. Again all we can do is wait until there is a resolution to the dispute. thank you
  5. Front panel "Pedal Dampener" switch is still missing. ty
  6. Bear in mind your IRST range will be in the ballpark of 10 km now unless you're looking at an afterburner from behind since it's a R-60 seeker with extra steps IRL. They had to make a dogfight sensor with big FOV and working in any position in space. Time to say goodbye to IRST DCSisms. For real world stealth tactic you need support from your C&C.
  8. I am waiting on my PCL being delivered and am researching setup information. Question I have is what does the DCS monitor resolution setting do as it has no effect (I don't think but stand to be corrected) on the headset. If it is only for the monitor surely setting it very low would reduce load on GPU? Thanks in advance.
  9. Appreciate the prompt reply Newy, not asking for a copy of the contracts you have with your business partners or third parties. I'm not asking for details of whatever is still going on with RAZBAM specifically. I'm asking for a description of the mechanism that protects customers from third party developers. I can't speak for other users but at least for the country I live in, my protections are provided by an Act of Parliament. In this case "if a purchased online service stops working, you have rights under the consumer guarantees act to seek a remedy, such as a repair, replacement, or refund". Rights under the act can't be negated by terms of service and if a company is trading here, they must comply with the law. Now I'm not suggesting I'd go chasing an overseas company using this act as I suspect it'd be pointless. What I am saying is I think it's fair for customers to expect compensation should the RAZBAM modules be unable to be brought along with the core of DCS as development continues.
  10. I rarely read ToS start to end (I doubt many people do). I will occasionally read the privacy stuff and choose not to use a service because of it but that's quite rare. My attitude is a company can write whatever they want in the ToS but ultimately if you irritate your customers en masse then ToS or no, they won't be in business very long.
  11. We have been here over 16 years already with DCS, DCS continues to grow and development will continue no matter the outcome of the dispute. We can not discuss contracts, they have confidentiality clauses and we are bound by NDA's. All we can do is continue to wait until the dispute is resolved, we all hope for the best for everyone. thank you
  12. If ED wants to thrive and stay in business long-term, they should clearly communicate this to the community and ensure it’s included in the contract we agree to when buying any module from their store.
  13. My 4090 will end it’s warranty period in a couple of months. This got me thinking on buying a 5090. As my card still has some months of warranty left it should be doable to sell it around € 1500. I am not necessarily looking for more performance or 15fps extra. My 4090 does the job perfect in VR. I just don’t want to end up in a year with a broken 4090 and have no ‘residue’ value left on an expensive card. What would you do?
  14. Pimax Crystal Light, no abren VR. He instalado por primera vez las Pimax CL y no abren DCS en VR. Siempre abre DCS en pantalla. Independientemente de la opción elegida (3D o 2D). He reinstalado DCS. No encuentro solución. ¿Qué problema puede ser? Gracias
  15. I assume Jester did not go to P-STT, i got the lock at around 60nm or so, the target was an il-78 tanker, the lock remained steady and accurate several minutes after it landed.
  16. I'm glad you took it in the right way and didn't think I was being arsey or anything like that. Keep up the good work for sure!! Going to sleep at night with a self-satisfied grin on your face and a happy head, knowing that you've created something that no-one else has is reward enough. Anything else is just a bonus!! Rap
  17. You must have done something wrong. I also (re)installed the Sufa mod after latest patch and it works fine. But I´ve noticed some bugs. Something with avionics is wrong since last patch. When turning on the avionics control panel the game crashes in 60%. Also when not crashing weapons do not relese and sometimes the ccip is off in the hud. When using the F-15D Blk 50 & 52 without spine as uncontrolled in a mission, the pilots helmets is visible. Anyone knows a solution?

  19. Hello everyone. I had problems with my first Crystal Super and received a replacement device. The problem is that the replacement device has almost the same problems as the previous device, which is why I almost hope that it is not a replacement device, because otherwise I am incredibly “lucky” with the devices or PIMAX has a huge problem with the quality of the devices. I would like to ask here whether I am just unlucky or whether you are also familiar with these problems. I have the following problems with both devices: 1. Chromatic aberration in the sweet spot. With the first device, it was so severe that all the illuminated buttons in the F16 cockpit turned white and I saw all the numbers three times in different colors. With the second device, I “only” see this in the pause/start image on the buttons. There is no sign of it in the F16 cockpit. 2. The left fan (when I put on the headset) sounds like a bee, so even with noise-canceling headphones, I can hear this buzzing noise when it's quiet in the game. Playing with the DMAS headphones is not possible this way, at least if you value the background noise in the game. 3. The right display gets brighter or darker depending on whether I'm looking at a light or dark area. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen occasionally and manifests itself as a very slow flickering. 4. To achieve the sweet spot in the left display, I have to push the headset up about 3-5 mm on the left side and move it slightly to the left so that my eye moves further down and to the right to see everything clearly with my left eye. This wasn't quite as extreme with the first Crystal Super. When aligning the HMD with the HUD, I see two lines on the large cross. On the right eye, the line runs vertically from top to bottom. On my left eye, I have a second line, as if I were squinting. This line drifts down to the left. I didn't have this with the first headset. Due to all these almost identical errors with both headsets, I almost suspect that an attempt was made to repair the old headset and that the headset was given a new SN so that the 14-day trial period could be controlled by the system again. However, if it is indeed a new headset and so many problems are identical on both headsets, I wanted to ask you if you are experiencing similar issues? I am an owner of the OG Crystal and have not a single issue with it. Greetings
  20. Looking to understand how third party modules are handled to protect the consumer. I wasn't playing DCS when the Hawk thing happened but I saw a bit of the aftermath and I thought something was put in place to prevent it recurring. But it's looking like the RAZBAM modules will end up being limited to old versions of DCS as the core is developed. I barely have space for a single install of DCS and associated content I've purchased let alone two versions. Eager to see how it pans out but in the meantime can somebody from ED answer this please: What prevents other 3rd party modules becoming unusable for whatever reason. Let's say one of the other developers had an issue where they couldn't continue their operation, would we end up in the same position as with the Hawk and now RAZBAM modules? The 3rd party stuff is some of the best available, particularly Heatblur but I don't have confidence DCS at the moment in order to continue making purchases. Need to see some commitment from ED as to how consumers are going to be protected. Even if ED is a victim (and I don't know what's gone on), ultimately the buck stops with them. I acknowledge it's an awkward position. Niche market which I'm sure we all want to see grow. If large numbers of people stop making purchases then our existing producers might pack it in and it'll be hard to attract more. That being said, I've spent a shameful amount on DCS and I can't keep pouring money in with such fragility hanging in the air.
  21. Thanks so much! I am glad you like it I will adapt this for the Hellcat later, then hopefully with a real human voice. If I can find someone who volunteers to read hundreds of texts
  22. Moin, vielleicht hilft euch ja dieses Video hier ein wenig weiter. Ist etwas anders als die Waags Videos: Gruß Frank
  23. To follow up on my query, I feel slightly less silly now I’ve seen the discord instructions…. When I purchased directly from ASC I get emailed what was called a license key. The instructions say to redeem a voucher, and the redeem voucher page warns “do not enter license keys here”. Perhaps the emails should call these things vouchers, as that’s apparently what they really are
  24. @jnr4817@MAXsenna I am not able to delete the calibration settings in windows joystick tool. This error: "Your game controller is not connected correctly. Please verify that it is plugged into your computer." Will appear when trying to access properties.
  25. Wonder if anyone has more insight then I have been able to glean from manuals. In FC3, I’m sure I’m not the only one that likes to constantly switch sensors. If I am in position to have IRST lock, but need to get closer, I might acquire with radar, switch to IRST, then either fire fox 2 when ready or fire fox 1 and have it switch to radar leading. And I’m sure EVERYONE has to atleast do this to IFF an IRST target. And for FF, this won’t change in that, as long as IRST is leading, you won’t get IFF. So, unlike FC3, where one sensor will pick up lost lock of other in any mode, this only happens in IRL and FF if we flip the cooperation/interaction switch forward, which will lock radar to MPRF. And HUD scale to 25 km. This seems like a meaningless gimp and asinine and dumb! Right? But it almost makes sense, MPRF range is anywhere from 18-35 km depending on altitude, background, RCS, etc, so this roughly lines up with IRST range well, though I expect many times to have IRST outrange against a rear aspect AB target. So, let’s say we acquire with IRST and need to IFF, or acquire with radar and go to silent running with IRST? After all, there are no simple radar and IRST on/off switches like FC3 leads us to expect. What I’ve figured out so far is…….. TP (IRST) mode: Switches to radar if Fox 1 selected Permanently switches to radar if Press lock before laser range RL mode: Select Fox 2 and move SUV knob to TP will switch to TP leading IF TP selected and entered RL by selecting Fox 1, selectingFox 2 will go back to TP leading Its possible TP may be forced temporarily by lowering gun trigger I also have a hunch that even without the cooperation switch, Fox 1 selection might just switch to radar no matter what. Manuals mention this frequently enough. And Su-27 does same thing. Also, complications that, I don’t know for sure but it’s possible that even without interaction/coop switch the radar may take up to 8 seconds to range an IRST target beyond laser range. Or it might be instant as long as coop switch is on It’s a shame it can’t IFF while doing its 3 seconds ranging pulses…… So, if out of Fox 1, sucks to be you If out of fox2, also sucks to be you! I wonder if you fire your last fox 1, it switches to TP, you lose TP lock, then it switch back to radar as long as coop switch is forward It’ll be interesting to see how it’s implemented on release! It’s the big unknown for me along with things like “will RWR be able to tell you about missile launches” and “will RWR actually put PD fighters in medium range SAM category beyond 20 km, or both categories light up.”
  26. Is there some progress on the German AF / Euro 1 liveries? Can't wait to place them in my Cold War Germany missions @Neo47 @Woogey ?
