Yes I can read but I'm sorry but referencing a response from 2022 ....3 years ago with no updates on status since isn't valid, at least to me. Anyway, based on your responses to me this morning if it's so easy to add the lighting like you are insinuating ED not having it added to the NTTR map by now is ridiculous, other priorities or not.

That error is not going away by updating DCS. It's literally written what it is, a mod conflict with undefined behaviour and memory corruption. There is a report in the known issue list that mentions one of the possible behaviours. So you have 3 options. 1) ignore the warning and continue. 2) uninstall the A-4 3) uninstall the CH-53 and CH-47 mod -
& the genes of the YAK live on as the F-35.. With the fall of the Soviet Union, Lockheed Aircraft entered a partnership with Yakovlev in 1991 for further development of the aircraft, now officially redesignated Yak-141; the partnership would not be announced by Yakovlev until 6 September 1992 and not confirmed by Lockheed until June 1994

Do you mean you have trouble reproducing this bug? Or trouble finding what causes it? -

Of course, it's not meant for those players because it'd be no fun to them. The F-35 servers will probably be PvE and hopefully with some new Su-57 AI. Although there may be some slots left for MiG-29, Su-27 or JF-17 for anyone willing to face a challenge. I'm sure many ace redfor players will take a chance to take down the F-35

Northstar98 started following 5-inch/38 guns sometimes do not engage airborne targets
-
Hi everyone, Despite the following being in the changelog: I am still experiencing issues with 5-inch/38 calibre guns, as fitted to the USS Samuel Chase and Essex-class. In the below tracks I have a single aircraft approaching the USS Samuel Chase from the starboard rear-quarter. Wind is calm, the ship is not in motion and I've set the weather to clear skies. In both cases the aircraft approaches from the same direction and remains in level flight, the only difference between the 2 tracks is the altitude the aircraft flies at. While the 3-inch/50 guns engage more-or-less as expected (they do however cease tracking and reset to their default positions instead of attempting to continue tracking the target) in the 6kft track the 5-inch gun never engages, despite doing so in the 2kft track. 6000 ft should be more than within the capability of 5-inch gun (in-fact it outranges and has a higher ceiling than the 3-inch guns - compare this table (5"/38) with this table (3"/50)). With the Essex (which I've separately reported here) does have the guns track the target in both tracks (the directors though do not track the target), but only in the 2kft track to they actually engage. However, even so, they take a long time to commence firing (the Bofors 40 mm actually opening fire first) and they only get a single salvo off before resetting(-ish). In the 6kft track, they again track the target, but never engage and simply reset, pretty much exactly mirroring this bug report for ground-based AAA - where so far only the KS-19 behaves as expected. Installing the Latest Update From The Launcher Causes Windows to Reboot

Better read the patch notes before patching then. They were very clear that this would happen. Even so, much better to post in the most recent patch notes thread, as this thread'e from last year... Cheers! -
It has a MiG-21 cannon! if that doesn't make it cool, then I don't know what does. It's slow as hell compared to other fighters but climbs and accelerates like a rocket. You can't stall it and the stick commands G

Hey guys, just want to share my observation since the last patch (23. July 2025) Go on INDEX on the CDU, then REF SELECT and change on the left side from LAT/LONG to MGRS and boom you can type in the Coords in MGRS Format. Also the MFD FLT PLAN sub page DATA shows now the MGRS Grid.

THX! Now I have patched to Win 11 and indeed had no freezes since patching last weekend! Also the problem with the communication menu is solved. the reason for this problem was a program running in the background (fraps) which has implemented hotkey F1 for starting movie-record, I never use!! This F1-key is used in com-menu, so everytime pressing F1 in the com-menu a video-record started . Result: Fps-impact and 670 GB hidden movie-file on the SSD - oh man, what a bull....t! This is a good example that as possible no tool should work in the background!!

Ahhh... Back in the days, you new it was summer when the "Catalina Plane" came over from Canada to Oslo, in case of forest fires. Also had a model kit from Revell of Jacques Cousteau's plane. [emoji4] So yes, please by all means gimmmi! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

It's not the assumption is the experience gathered witnessing various balancing moves in MP servers over several years. One does not need to realize that majority of red players will not accept to fight stealthy all seeing F-35 with no analogue on their side. Hence, the only realistic solution is F-35 vs F-35, just like we now have F-16 vs F-16.

It brings about the same value as dry firing a gun. It's good practice for some technique development, but it is not fun and you will never learn to shoot the real thing like that. Why do the strict startups if nothing ever fails and your ground crew never screws anything up? Where is fun there and where is the purpose behind that process? Animated crew is indeed nice, but the issue is far beyond that. How many times do you really need to repeat the same thing to realise that you know how to do it? And why the sudden obsession with sending people you disagree with to WT? Thanks, but I know better for myself. My opinion is that we all should not forget the purpose of simulation and that as such it should remain flexible to people needs and not dictate useless scenarios...

Because their project manager selected other priorities for the team to work on. I try to avoid saying how easy it is to do though. And also from this very thread:

I take the spring off my rudder pedals for helis. Barely use trim in the Loach, I should try using it a bit more.

Although I agree with you in principle If it’s so easy than why hasn’t it been added almost 4 years after PG?

i don't see this problem in dcs trailers or some dcs youtube videos.
