Why does AGC gain out the contact in 100 nm and 200 nm range, but not below these settings? I should have mentioned (but this is also visible in the track) that I do not press and hold the first-stage trigger ON the contact, but on a random spot (centered horizontally, target dead ahead) on the radar scope.

It was tested as well in VR mode (whole procedures)? I see the Hercules has new interactive card elements. How does this work in VR? Can you click on it? Or maybe you just look at the area and press accept button (similar to Jester's orders in the F-4E, or the F-14 from HB)?

Hi, will it be possible to see the pilots' bodies in 3D in VR (including your own body as an on/off switch?)? Something like in many modules (a relatively good example, maybe not quality because it's an old module, would be the Mi-8, which also has a 3-person crew in the cockpit).

Если уж о запуске говорить, то Ми-24 запускается от аккумуляторов и от аэродромного питания постоянного тока. Аэродромный источник переменного тока используется только для наземных проверок оборудования. Поэтому в этой компании запуск явно неправильный. Касаемо инвертора750, а на самом деле ПО750(преобразователь однофазного тока 115в) он нужен для питания потребителей однофазного тока 115 в процессе запуска и в особых случаях в полете.

There are countless examples. They do carry them, and it may be required, especially during combat missions (and DCS is a combat simulator, right?). For MSFS, this might be strange, but for DCS, it's not. However, I agree that it would be nice to have the option of wearing a helmet or not. That is, having the pilots' heads, without helmets, wearing only headsets. Of course, this would probably require some changes (and contrary to appearances, modeling a human is one of the most difficult elements in 3D graphics combined with simulation), but it's possible. @ASC, maybe it's worth considering this option for users too?

Loophole started following AINS and F-18 HUD deviation

I'm not sure if this is a related issue, but it does exhibit as an FPM-offset in the HUD: I'm flying a multiplayer mission on the Sinai map, using dynamic-spawn slots, and the F/A-18 nav system keeps failing in unusual ways (system failures are not enabled in the mission!). Characteristics are: - Typically fails after 1-2 sorties in same aircraft - FPM offset completely off the HUD (pinned to the edge, flashing) regardless of heading. - TGP position drifts even when ground stabilised. - HSI shows incorrect position for A/C - HSI -> DATA -> A/C page shows position constantly drifting while parked on the ground - POS/AINS not available when IFA selected, even though date set to 2022 - Doing a full GND INS align stops the HSI -> DATA -> A/C page drift, but position shown is still incorrect (out by 1-2 degrees N & E). - Only solution seems to be to get a new aircraft. - (No mods installed). Sadly I have not been able to identify a simple reproduction for this, but I typically encounter this every couple of hours of flying in the mission If this is unrelated, then please ignore and I'll try and gather enough information to log this as a separate issue, as its being very persistent and really started degrading my F/A-18 experience at the moment!

I'm encountering this in a Sinai-map mission; set in 2022, but no POS/AINS; only POS/INS. Also encountering many INS and nav-system issues in the mission, with the F/A-18, but they might be unrelated.

Yes, they sometimes (!) do, depending on the mission. A400M crews too btw if they use NVGs on a flight.

Hi Devs, Playing with new Germany map and it occurred to me that having a mouseover to display names for Airbases and towns etc would be nice. The map is saturated with names being displayed permanently which obscures map terrain and objects etc. Cheers Spinfx

Please attach your C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCD\Logs\dcs.log file. It may just be a text document named "dcs" if your Windows is hiding file extensions. DCS will overwrite the log file each time, so needs to be one from a failed launch and one from a successful one.

More complicated than flying virtual planes? If you managed to get DCS running, this is a walk in the park. True if you have only 1-2 modules and 1-2 devices. First you need to add a bind to each device to get the new UUID..... x 2 You need to copy-paste 2 x 2 = 4 times Then you need to add the modifiers back for each module But if you have FC3, that itself is 9 separate modules so you will do the above 9 x 2 = 18 times If you add a rudder then it becomes 9 x 3 = 27 times! Downloading and installing the pre-requisites for the script is a one time thing. Thereafter it's literally 3 steps to backup/restore no matter how many modules or devices you have: Select DCS Saved Games folder (should automatically be detected by script) Select Backup folder locationnull Press Backup/Import
