  5. I would like to set the opacity of Viewports used for MFDs. I would like to set the opacity when defining the Viewports in the monitor setup .lua files stored in DCS World\config\MonitorSetup. Is there any parameter in the Viewport structure defining the opacity? Or is it defined somewhere else? Thanks.

  11. Спросил ещё у двух летавших на МиГ-29. Первый(летал на одном аэродроме на 9-13,9-12) - говорит были зелёные шасси. Второй (летал на ТРЁХ аэродромах, на 9-13) говорит зелёную индикацию никогда не видел. Так что, конкретного вредикта нет. Но перевес в пользу "Жёлтой индикации")
  12. This is totally off topic, but I’m pretty sure the radar altimeter works even if RF is set to silent. Dunno if it’s a bug or feature
  13. Radar was in Illum position, but it was not transmitting because otherwise RWR would not have detected any radar signal from the F-16C, but it did, meaning radar was off (because I was still in NAV mode) so this is not relevant to why RWR does not detect any nails when in the beam.
  14. The 90 degree light is NOT a bug! I attached a picture of SPO-15 antenna reception pattern here. Notice there is no single 90 degree antenna, but only one from 50-95 degrees and a small overlap with rear hemisphere antenna. So SPO-15 can only tell if someone is at 90 degrees if there is enough signal strength to both set off the 50-95 degree antenna and the rear antenna (which is not only weaker then the front antennas, but when hitting the antenna at its side is even weaker). So the result is, the 90 degree light will ONLY show up at very close range. And it will turn on together with the 50 light. Try your test again at increasingly shorter range, you’ll find the 90 degree light turning on at some point along with 50 degree light. F-16 also only has a medium power MPRF mode, airplanes with HPRF will be able to set off this 90 light at longer ranges. Let me know if you redo test, I am very interested to see at what range the 90 degree light turns on There is a light on the warning light panel to tell you if radar is transmitting also
  15. Compared to real life footage our Fulcrum is un-naturally smooth riding. Watch this example, particularly during turns. Even at low speeds there's constant movement. Please give us some buffeting akin to the Heatblur F-4E Phantom (as an option at least). Also it seems we've regressed to 'baked-on' reflections. Will we see dynamic option in future? Mag-3's Mig-21 does them really well. Don't get me wrong, still loving the plane.
  16. L006 label on output line inside radar document, tells us that radar was designed with SPO-15 in mind.
  17. Delete your C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\launcher.sqlite3 file and then start DCS again. Failing that rename your Saved Games\DCS folder to DCS.old (so you can copy back your bindings from Config\Input). Deleting the launcher.sqlite3 should fix it though.

  20. Pilot-engineer is read as "pilot minus engineer"(vvs running joke, sorry). There is only one flaps extended position, and it's 25 degrees. Leading edge is 20 degrees both for takeoff and landing.

  23. Is the MiG-29 throttle similar to the MiG-21 throttle? In the 21, you have to hit a lever to release it from off to idle. It's not just a matter of moving the throttle a certain way. So, What's the mechanism that keeps the 29's throttles from moving from off to idle? I'd be happy to bind a couple of separate buttons as the release mechanism if it doesn't just involve moving the throttles a certain way.
  24. Потому что ТП очень по разному реализованы, на разных чувствительных элементах. Зато в МиГ-23 ТП не стабилизирован по крену и не предназначен для БВБ вообще. В 29 ТП сугубо для БВБ а ТП строб прикрутили я даже не знаю для чего. Максимум для B-1 на форсаже.
  25. That's fine. Have a look at the comments on @YoYo's free campaign for the Kiowa. Totally understandable. I got the Gazelle in a helicopter pack some years ago, was instantly hooked, more so when the FM update dropped. I can easily hover, (prefer to shoot on the go), and shoot tanks at the same time, though I have FFB cyclic, collective, pedals, and a dedicated joystick for the Viviane camera, which helps a lot. I also export the Viviane and instruments to a secondary screen. Totally agree with this! Well, we're two people looking at the same screens, while using different controls. Basically just like in the real thing. That's multiplayer in my book, but not like you thought. Two screens, for the cockpit, which I control with my TrackIR. She looks down on the third exports screen where the camera is exported when tracking and engaging the enemies! And she brings us beer when needed. Lots of fun! In a way much better then over the net multiplayer. Cheers!
