  4. Having recently flown an mp session my and my friends noticed that carrier ops are more or less off the hook, as spawn points are on the middle of the deck. Means: if someone connects and spawns on the servers he will do so right in the middle of the deck, and if someone is about to touch down, he will crash right into him with no chance to turn away etc. It would be nice that spawn points could be set behind the foul line eg with the "parking" option unlike "start from ramp" where it literatully means off the runway. Or implement a spawn block of some sorts, where the AI prevents one from spawning when it detects someone approaching the carrier to land, similar lights flick on on caucasus when you approach. Otherwise it simply wont work in mp.
  5. Theres occasional fps los on the carrier that seem to come out of nowhere. As i´m on 2d i have around 100-150 fps. But at times it drops down to constant 44/43 fps and i can only solve this by alt tabbing out for a few seconds. I was suggested to switch something in my bios, but then simply my pc wouldnt boot. However, i only experience this with the esses/corsair. None of the other a/c. corsair_carrier_lag.trk

  10. Hi, make sure you have clicked in the 3D view in order to give it focus before using the hotkeys. Hold down shift at the same time to move the camera faster.

  12. Haha! I feel ya man. They didn't add very many. My excitement is more for the fact that they are open to modeling them in the first place. Which ones and how many they choose to model remains to be seen, but the ball is moving in the right direction at least.

  15. I did the same last night: Cowl flaps partially open, oil and intercooler open to about 50%. Water injection master switch was on, and I was verifying good water pressure on the dial. Temperatures never redlined, and I managed to keep the carburetor light off. The engine still shut down (sadly, I had a CTD after I ditched so couldn't save the track). One thing I noticed is that I was getting BEYOND max rated MAP with water injection. It's hard to tell because of the exaggerated needle jitter, but MAP appeared to be settling above 60in.
  16. This is an old shot used when PTO asset pack was first announced as an AI unit, way before the FF Zero module was official. It can very well be an AI only C. The FF module can expand into the C variant like how the P-47 did. Many possibilities.

  19. Yes. The interior "floods". At night, you can see that the lighting comes from their directions, those that are turned on.
  20. No please don't think I'm accusing you of being a noob, I never meant my message to sound that way, apologies! I just figured a track file would help to see where exactly things go wrong because currrently I'm not experiencing any engine issues, I just did a 30 minute hop in the Corsair, almost all the time at full mil power (50-54 inHg MP at 2700 RPM) doing some aerobatics practice and the engine ran perfectly fine. I kept my cowl flaps at about 20% open and I kept the oil and intercooler flaps at about 50% open. Oil and cylinder head temperatures never exceeded their limits. I think a track file would help, since you are experiencing issues, it seems your engine is overheating when it really shouldn't be. Just trying to help!
  21. Hi, your 2fa is done using google authenticator ( if you use that one ) its not linked to your email. It should work, I have 2fa on all of my DCS accounts.
  22. Hello i need advice. I enable the 2FA for my DCS account in order to test the Afghanistan map. So i scanned the QR code available on my DCS profile, with Google Authenticator. I see a new entry 'digitalcombatsimulation...' inside Google Authenticator on my phone. But when i try to log in my DCS account, the DCS website reject the code generated by Google Authenticator. I tried several times. I opened a ticket to ED support team and they gave me recovery codes. I was able to disable 2fa authentication on my DCS account. Now i am able to log in without 2fa authentication. I don't know what is the problem. My question : as my DCS account is linked to my email (Outlook email), do you know if the 2fa is also linked to my Outlook email address ? In other words, Can I use "Google" Authenticator when the email address registred on my DCS profile is a Microsoft Outlook one ? Could "Microsoft" Authenticator be the best app in my case ?   24. It looks neat and I like the art a lot, seems like it needed a couple passes over the text in the pics and on the webpage cos its kind of messy Respect to the author though, must be a labour of love to put that sort of thing together.
