  2. PGM 5 is the least accurate precision factor, PGM 1 is the most accurate.
  3. @STONE SKY Mission 12: Played it three times to make sure it wasn't a one time thing. The A-10 and F/A-18 went to go land after the MiG-21 was destroyed. The F/A-18 landed south of the objective area at H4, and the A10 landed north of the OBJ near H11. Not sure if there is a second SA11 in the area but I was getting pinged by one. When trying to clear out target area 2 it states you're supposed to clear out the area with the fixed-wing, but they landed. I just declared Winchester and RTB'd. Single ship 64 VS a ton of armor after using a majority of the hellfires at target 1 is no bueno. Ended up with a score of 75/100. Would also recommend maybe putting the SA-19 tunguksa ROE to react to threat or set up a trigger zone acting as a engagement radius as it's missiles are much faster then a hellfire. I can foresee a ton of players being shot down from it.

  6. Do I understand correctly that you have enabled SSAO and quadviews together? Do you have any graphical glitches regarding the quadview rectangle resolution boxes? Because I isolated SSAO to be the primary cause of the glitch on my system. 5600X and 4070ti. It’s a pity because I love SSAO. What about you Morat? Do you have SSAO enabled?   7. I noticed that the AI F-4E won't strafe, even if I tell it to attack from the best direction, with or without a gunpod. Not sure if this is specifically an AI F-4 issue or if other AI's show the same behaviour. See attached two tracks. F-4-strafe-gunpod.trk F-4-strafe.trk

  9. I noticed wind on the "Ferry Flight" mission on the ground level was set to 7 knots. Took that one down to 0, and also the next level up at like 3 to 5,000 (cant' remember which) - still no joy. However, I went and set all wind speeds to 0 knots and I can also report normal taxi.
  10. That makes sense for something like an airliner but in a combat sim you need to be able to look all the way to your 6:00 Your entire view needs to move in a sim like this. In this case the HMD being locked to the center of your screen is replicating how it would work IRL. A fighter plane simpit with a fixed screen like that would need to have a dome projector. I suspect those aren’t too common outside of pro simulators.

  13. I have no idea if this will help or even applies to you. I remember a Youtube vid byJay2cents he does computer reviews and such. With the newer AMD X3D cpu's you needed to have windows 11 power plan set to Balanced. If you have high performance it holds back the cpu.. Easy enough to try J
  14. In HAD mode with HTS pod, it indeed does find it's target, but always precision factor PGM goes straight to max accuract (5) and it drops from 5 to 2, and stays at 2. The harm still finds the target with pin point precision. There must be something wrong with F-16 HARM system, and how it shows up the precision number. The bug has also been reported here in weapons section. Simple track file attached. a2g_harm_accuracy_test_2.miz Not sure which fault is it, but it seems thats on F-16 side and its HTS system. And it's the same with any radar that HTS is detecting.

  19. Hi evanswillo, Have you tried the Canted Rendering option on at all? I thought if I turned it on it might give me a wider FOV, but I found no difference at all in the visuals. I did notice that the resolution number displayed in the the VR1 tool dropped though and I got a lower overall resolution in SteamVR when I turned Canted Rendering on. Happy landings, Talisman
  20. change the shortcut to match your values Target: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" Start in: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World" yes. there is only one version. it is multithread. the BIN-MT folder is going to be deprecated. use the BIN folder. ED kept it so the shortcuts everyone used would not break. you can also browse in Explorer to where the install folder is, find DCS_updater.exe, right click, create shortcut. then drag it to your desktop of taskbar. it is safe to delete the other shortcuts.

  25. Well, cool. You just saved me a bunch of coin because I've been noodling that exact migration, which would be somewhere around $1500 by the time I got the new MB. Can't complain about frame rate in DCS, apart from the normal 143 FPS to 9 FPS. The Macro stutters are...irritating. In the other SimsThatShallNotBeNamed I'm CPU limited and only getting 50-60 FPS. My 5090 did basically nothing for those because I was also CPU limited on my old 2080Ti.

  27. I think it’s a DCS and Quadviews combination bug. Not sure who’s to blame. I don’t have this bug when using MSFS 2024’s Quadviews.
