Hi everyone, One of the big challenges in multiplayer DCS servers is the chat window often gets flooded with automated system messages—like player connects/disconnects, slot changes, server notifications, and mission event logs. While these notifications serve a purpose, they make it difficult to clearly follow actual player-to-player communication during missions. It would be very useful if DCS had a chat filter option that allowed players to toggle what type of messages show up in the multiplayer chat window. For example: Show only player chat messages (hide join/leave and event logs) Show only system messages (hide player chat) Show both (current behavior) This could be implemented as a simple filter button or checkbox in the chat window, giving players more control over what they see. This would make the default text chat far easier to use without missing instructions or conversation drowned out by scroll spam. Would anyone else find this useful, and is this something ED could consider adding as a QoL feature?

  8. Probably, yes. However sometimes ME does not open older missions anymore which uses older modules that are not available anymore. Some of these older missions are also incompatible to actual DCS release. As .miz files use the same format as .zip I also use .zip tools to access .miz files. Most of the files compressed in the .miz archive are just plain text files which can also be modified with notepad++. It sometimes requires time consuming searches when I do not exactly know what I am looking for but at least I have a way to work through. Like a SEAD mission in software

  10. I love to "eject" out of the warbirds on the ground and walk all around. The controls are, of course, clunky but they work and I love the perspective. A proper walk around feature with full body awareness, NO head bobbing, and proper controls would be a dream!
  11. Да ещё, по поводу того, что не у всех получается захват или даже обнаружение, на больших дистанциях, по моему, на этом модуле, учитывается и разность скоростей/скорость сближения с целью.

  13. Its been a while in here, The external model is now in a place where we are happy to release the lancaster AI version! It by no means finished in my eyes, but I doubt that it ever will be considering how many hours it took to get to this point alone, thankfully theres no hour counter on 3ds max or photoshop. There's a few areas that arent up to my standards but i think that they are minor enough that majority of people wont notice, should hopefully have a AI release for you all very soon! I know your next question is when the flyable version is, it will take time. The interior still needs massive modelling work and the flight model needs debugging to make it a smooth and authentic experience, so please have patience, we want to release this more than anybody.   14. Are you using an old version of the US pack? I fixed that issue quite some time ago. I just tried the latest version. And it worked fine. It's definitely a possibility, it's still the issue with creating good enough missiles of this type as mods.

  16. Всем привет, я тут из-за обилия работы и вообще жизни выпал малек на некоторое время. Недавно сел полетать, и либо отвык, либо мыла стало еще больше. Подскажите, за все это время еще способа обратно прикрутить Решейд к ДКС VR не нашлось?..

  18. If this is the case, then we really need this to be cleared up in the module's manual, as I've seen different takes from within the forums which are causing confusion. I understand the manual is probably a low priority at the moment but if there is a good clear source on how the system works I think we'd all love to have it even just marked as a special note where the panel is described, at least for the time being. It would greatly help those of us with lesser knowledge of the aircraft to study it and learn it more correctly! @NineLine Hate to bother you with something that I can probably do, however, I don't know how to mark or unmark my comment as a solution, and with the added info above that would make my understanding of previous comments incorrect. Is there anyway to "unmark" my comment as a solution?

There are two add-ons you need for it to work: This one https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/ns430/ and this one. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/ns430_mig-29a/ The same goes for other aircraft. You also need to activate the module in the mission editor for the aircraft corresponding to the module. This will display it in 3D in the cockpit if the module in question has it.
  20. У меня тоже проблем с захватом РЛС цели, типа одиночный истребитель, на больших дистанциях, в переднюю полусферу, проблем нет. Со строем бомбардировщиков, при применении ими активных помех, захват срывается, даже да дистанции 20 км, возможно теперь учитывается "сила" излучения помех х.з. РЛС также очень чувствительна к оборонительным маневрам, даже бота. Со 120кой, в "вакуумных условиях", когда знаешь, где, кто и как летит, иногда... очень иногда, получается прорваться на ближнюю дистанцию и там покрутиться. Классического боя: атака-оборона (сплитом или notch)-атака,не получается, потому что, после оборонительного маневра, тайминга, на повторный захват и пуск не остаётся. И это с ботом, что там будет с реальным человеком в онлайн, даже представить трудно. "Теплом" атаковать более-менее получается в заднюю полусферу, да и то только после танцев с бубном. Но я думаю в будущем, люди с правильными мозгами, прямыми руками и большим количеством свободного времени, разработают тактику боевого применения и для этого МиГаря.
  21. That's what I do right now. I was just hoping for a nice tool which can be used quick and easy without starting DCS each time. I also found a tool named MIZ_RML Utility from @kuschmuto remove unsupported modules, which helps at least partially.
  22. Alright, so we have a out of sync, unserviced MiG-29 lacking parts for the SPO-15 post WP. Even when multiple real pilots that are confirmed real pilots talking that yes it would still work if the radar is on, and documents are proving it. Meanwhile there is also the magic RWR for all F-16 and such. Man I had my hopes up for this release, but now its pointless.
  23. Yes, this isn't an issue with DCS specifically, it's that the fit of the headset means that it isn't level. If I tilt the headset forwards 20 degrees or so from the top of my face, it's fine. In the Ka-50, you can compensate, but not in any other module.
  24. Yep. This is a new development it seems for me. Whenever I start a mission even after I've flown the Tomcat I have to reload it.

  27. Whoopsie.. I thought it is included because the MiG showed up in its special options I will buy it of course and trie again.... but I have bought it for the Mi8 and installed it but it does not show up there.
