I'm sad about losing the MK2C, but those In the know. How advanced is the F1-M vs the M2000C. Is she still a bit behind in terms of CCRP and radar locking of targets. The Mk2 is fairly basic been also a old frame, but if she can do what the MK2C can do then I will have to get her again to fill my MK2 place.

That would still be a 3rd party external add-on, as thinking of a more integrated automated ATC-system within DCS. But it's a plan for the future, as i read above.

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill

Thanks CH, is it maybe possible to have this (with) trailer added in the future ? Think it would be a great asset to your collection... -

I think these are all the versions I currently have in the US pack. With the M983 at the top. -

This sim is all about the immesion, so why wouldn't we want to walk around these icon aircraft before we figuratively strap into them? Especially in VR as you get the full scale of the aircraft, and yes maybe people won't do it every single time, but every now and then on those cold start early morning missions, I personally would love to walk around my aircraft and check it out. This same feature works well in MSFS 2024, so as long as it's not a massive drain on dev resources, bring it on for me.

NOTE 1: This video was created with an early access version, and elements will likely change. NOTE 2: At the time of recording this video, there is a known issue with RBK accuracy that is being addressed. NOTE 3: If you have further questions, please also refer to the DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum Guide that will be released with the module. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.co... NOTE 4: I am not at liberty to discuss 3rd party products. Please keep comments on topic. In the previous video, we reviewed the Fulcrums sensors and air-to-air weapons. Today, we’ll look at using different weapon delivery methods, the laser range finder, and DTC settings for ground attack with unguided rockets, bombs, canister munitions, and the 30mm cannon.

ED, we need help as modules have been abandoned by Polychop

Nah, the new dev also quit. -

Its a bit misleading to only ever consider the US air force units pre positioned in Europe on a permanent basis Unless its under the expectation that either victory or ceasefire between 2 sides will end a conflict after a extremely short duration, you have to recall the # concept of reforger. Whilst there was only 3 F15C squadrons in West Germany as part of 36th Fighter wing in Bitburg AFB, There was a 4th F15 squadron , 32nd TFS stationed in Soesterberg AFB in Holland. 9th Air force had priority to send its assets to Europe IF things actually kicked off against Warpact. as part of 9th airforce Langley AFB had 1st tactical fighter Wing ( 27th, 71st, and 94 TFS) and at Eglin AFB 33rd Tactical Fighter wing ( 58th, 59th, 60tth TFS) that were equipped with F15'Cs. As part of 12th Air force the 49th fighter wing ( 7th , 8th, 9th TFS) at Holloman AFB was equipped with F15A's and those had instructions for Europe in event of war as well. So in total that's 9 additional F15 squadrons that were almost certainly going be seeing deployment to reinforce the aforementioned 4 squadrons stationed in Europe.

The Kiowa was my next Helo and I just found this thread. -
This document does not apply to the MiG-29. It is a general description of the device.

Hey all, lets try and keep the discussion on feedback about the SPO-15LM, all this arguing with each other or other unhelpful comments makes it hard for our dev team to look over this thread. I may do a clean up pass so if you message vanishes and you dont think it should, you can DM me.

I’m not saying that, just that there are in fact blanking circuits as confirmed by 9.12 radio equipment manual and 9.12B technical manual and now also confirmed by ED.
-
You're distorting the facts. There are pilots who report poor performance of the radar. And official documents confirm that SPO information cannot be used when the radar is on.

That's the preset I'm using, but it wouldn't work on mine. Saying that though, I've tweeked the profile a bit to suit me so I might have upset something. -

Hi CH, Somewhere I remember the HEMTT M983 TRACTOR was with an empty trailer for tank transport (USA pack ?), but either I forgot where it's located or, has it been removed ? I thought I used it once before.... I saw it does exist with the Patriot missile or, a similar type in the German pack, the HX81 Tank transporter. Some help or info please ? RWC -
It is mentioned in the 9.12B technical manual and 9-12 radio equipment manual, which ED has stated through BN is true. BN’s post says it is implemented just can’t deal with HPRF for some reason (and MPRF?). My question is for him as it seems the devs have the answer. The blanking circuit is there and it turns off front hemisphere but SPO still gets HPRF. I’m sure BN can provide me with an answer ”N019 produces a single signal wire, which is used to block forward hemisphere, so that SPO can be left on and at least the rear hemisphere remains usable. Radio equipment manual confirms this.”

Light map issue for the ramp lights in Wiesbaden AB

I just noticed this bug and went to the forums to see if it’s reported. It’s like this for me as well, on the whole map, every airbase/port -
You're wrong. It's not mentioned there. There's a reference to a blanking feature in the 2011 document about the SPO-15. However, it has nothing to do with the MiG-29 aircraft; it's a general description of the device's capabilities. It's worth clarifying here. Not all capabilities are always and everywhere utilized. Recall the R-27R missiles. The manufacturer's description of the missile states that it supports a reduced target illumination frequency to enable a salvo launch of two missiles at two different targets. But the devil is in the details. Mikoyan and Sukhoi Design Bureaus didn't implement support for this feature in their MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft. As a result, the missile can be used in a salvo against two targets, but the aircraft don't support this. The same is true here. The SPO supports blanking, but for some reason, the aircraft developers didn't implement it.

Interesting but ED seems to have full awerness about the FABs. I think we should give them some time, the Fulcrum has only been out for a week. Also I believe Wags tutorial videos will sort out any user errors from us the pilots.
