Этот симулятор начинался, как симулятор исключительно истребителей. Потом на долгие годы ED переключилась на производство штурмов, вертолетов и поршней. Нормальные ястребы (F-18С и F-16C) появились спустя много, много лет. Так что да, соглашусь со сказанным:

Yea IRL the monocle is on the right eye. I use it that way in VR, just take a little time to get used to, especially the PNVS. I don't know how they do the boresighting with both eyes, but could be the problem. -

Strange the auto range was never kept when wasing any weapon. It's new that it is kept with the rockets. That's why I never use it and always set it to 800m like Casmo used to do IRL -

Try Strg+F2, zoom and pan your view with w,a,s,d and mouse for rotation. Guess that's what you mean Cheers

When you set the range for the gun to automatic by clicking left TSD B6 on the WPM page to choose the range and then typing A in the keypad and pressing enter, it will not maintain automatic range if you disarm and rearm. That is not the behavior with the rockets. With rockets you can arm and disarm without losing the automatic range setting.

I havent tried yet but I will soon. I did not have a tracking problem. The bomb guided down to where I was pointing (stationary target), but it didn't explode despite having NSTL selected. Will do some testing this weekend and see if they magically tossed a fix in.

Yeah - but this one is specifically a question about it and VR - as such I'd like to see this thread remain (and not be merged) as it's dealing specifically with VR. My (limited) understanding is that this isn't supposed to work for VR. Chatbot AI seems to confirm this (but now I'm doubting myself, since AI agrees with me, and I know how often AI lies to me).

We definitely need the export versions of AI planes at least. The MF version of the Flogger would be the only valid one to use for Syria and Iraq.

He said route tool though. And ngl I've never used the route tool, so does it function the same way as the ME? Where if you put 0 it will auto adjust to MSL?? And correct. The JDAMs on the F-16 only uses Relative Mode (which the HUD should indicate but there is no indication currently). It also only uses the INS portion and not GPS. Hopefully sometime this year or next year we will see it get that. When we do get that we should get absolute mode at the same time. But this is also why we should not bring other aircraft into this discussion as the JDAMs on the other jets do not suffer from the same thing as the F-16 does. This is also a topic that has been brought up and talked about countless times. A quick search would get OP all his answers about this.

yes please more British aircraft in DCS. No disrespect to the US states of A, but I would really like to see some more variation in countries represented in dcs other than America and Russia. Please oh please bring the lynx to dcs

The Pilot can either shoot Chaff or Flare based on the selection the RIO selects on the CMS panel. But RIO has full control of chaff and flare (and decoys irl) from the 4-way hat switches on their towel rack above the DDD. As well as directly on the countermeasures panel. Jester’s chaff use is……generous, same as the auto mode. Meaning he’ll chaff an RWR ping 200 miles away.

Reproduced on Caucasus without scripts or mods. Once they taxi into launch position they change to a normal 3-point attitude (but still have half the wheels sunk into the deck). Just confirmed and yes, he can actually use it. Here's the prove, but as always, you should try it out yourself EDIT: For those wondering, Jester can also do this in the F4E Phantom, but in this one you have to go to the Jester menu, select CREW CONTACT > COUNTERMEASURES DISPENSING > JESTER, after that he will do the same as in this video. Doens't seem as good as the F14 AI, but it works. I wouldn't trust it like I trust the f14 jester, but who knows... (Even with that option you can still use chaff and flare as pilot, so don't worry) EDIT 2: From my understanding this works everytime jester is able to see a missile (which is pretty good in the f14, he can see what the players can't), you still should pre flare to avoid getting shot, try not to always rely on jester, he will only pop flares after the missile is launched, so it's a last chance to avoid it. It also works on SA-18 igla for example, but not everytime he will see the missile in time, same goes for you...

I am having same problem . Using in single player, I can hear my asking for clearance to taxi, take off, etc., but no response. Same with AAR. I enter correct frequency and tacan channel asking for rejoin with tanker, but no response. It's as if ATC and Tanker are not receiving. Therefore no response.
