  3. I reverted back 2 versions to try replaying the track to see if the problem goes away in the older version and it didn’t bug out this time. Although the track doesn’t replay consistently at all so I’ll have to replay the mission again to be sure reverting the DCS version fixes it for now.
  4. I don't think so. You can use mission planner before the start. Most realistic is of course the briefing info which should tell/show your starting position and how to move on.
  5. Alrighty then. Would *I* love such a feature? Yes! Would *I* treat such a feature as more than a gimmick? Yes! One of the drawbacks of the way we enter the cockpit now after clicking “Fly” on the briefing screen, is that you have no idea where are are parked in relation to the active runway. Sure, you can open the F10 map and find out that way, but with all the issues that has (overexposure upon re-entering the cockpit, VRAM usage) I’d rather not do that unless I *really* have to. Perhaps this walk around will help in that regard

  7. I have observed this too, although it doesn't happen every time now. When it happens, I can lock the target with the "Undesignate/NWS/ACM" button. @NineLine : Interestingly, there is this line in the most recent change log: "Fixed: Odd target designation/undesignation behavior due to MSI." If "MSI" refers to the graphics card, I have to state that my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. So MSI might not be the (only) culprit, and the bug is at least not completely fixed. @ejbhimself: what graphics card do you use? Edit: This might be useful: Before the last update, I had to use the "Undesignate/NWS/ACM" button all the time to designate the target. Since the update, the "TDC Depress" works about half the time.
  8. If done properly, this can be a useful, nice to have feature. However, it has to be well defined, meaning a few things have to be taken into consideration first: 1. Are pilots real entities outside the jets that can be interacted with or killed? 2. Will it require changing the startup animation of most AI jets in the game to include pilots climbing into the cockpit? 3. Some pilots get assistance climbing into the jet and strapping in, will this be added too? 4. What's the initial position of the pilot after spawning? If you think about connecting the briefing room feature and making people walk to the jets, consider the distance to the jet might be large in airbases that are not an aircraft carrier. It's a "game" feature more than a "sim" feature (for this to be a sim feature multiple additions are required to make the walkaround meaningful) , so it has to be built with gameplay in mind.
  9. If I recall correctly I opened the file with a text editor and removed stuff that was no longer used (something about helios I used before) or something that was not supposed to be there!
  10. Ну, Миг-15 очень древний модуль. Он очень давно сделан. По этому, ждать каких-то телодвижений от разработчиков по этому модулю, наверное, можно будет, когда буду производить его ремастеринг. Так устроен их конвейер. Они постоянно движутся вперед. А когда будет ремастеринг, и будет ли он вообще - неизвестно. Это по моим наблюдениям. Но модуль, хоть и устаревший, по моему мнению - очень хороший! (У меня он есть.)
  11. The map has been updated so obviously there can be some performance difference. Either adjust your settings and move on or be specific if you think there's some problem. Save a short track with Su-25T where you find the most performance hit and upload here. Edit: DCS updates are optional, so yes, you can roll back for SP.
  12. Alphasim has released many of their old models source files. I guess there was also the Starlifter in that pack. I can´t find a side where those are up still. But I have em on a hdd backup. If you like, I can search & send the model files to you.

Но я действительно не знаю, почему с 1 марта разработчики не отвечают "по русски". И не нашёл почему. Понятное дело, недостаточно настойчиво искал. Говоришь, могут забанить? Вполне возможно. Обидно будет. Но поскольку на форуме разработчики не пишут, то зачем нужен форум? P.S. Кстати, о "баге" с АРК-5 написано у Чака. У Чака в гайде есть, а у Belsimtek-а в руководстве нет. Вот такие реалии.

All I know is that the entire Polychop dev team resigned at one point this(?) year and, presumably, new people were hired, currently they are familiarizing with the modules etc. But, Polychop kinda ceased communication recently, and ED is always silent as if hoping that people will eventually forget, so, my personal decision on this matter is "presume dead until proven otherwise".

  20. Die Leap ist auch bei mir aus dem VR Menü aktiviert. Manchmal funktioniert es auch bei mir mit beiden Händen, aber nicht immer. Der Unterschied ist möglicherweise, dass ich die rechte Hand mit Zeiger eingestellt habe, damit ich mit der Fingermaus auch Drehschalter bedienen kann. Das Zeigerkreuz liegt dann oft zufällig auf einem Schalter, da der Zeiger eine große Reichweite hat. Möglicherweise funktioniert dann z.B. das Tippen für die UFC-Eingabe bei der F-18 nicht. Ich ziehe einfach die für eine Eingabe unbenutzte Hand etwas weiter zurück, dann klappt es in der Regel ohne Probleme. Blöd ist mit der Leap nur eines: Wenn ich bei längeren Flügen mit Autopilot eine Hand in den Schoß lege, kann das bei der F-18 den Schleudersitz aktivieren. Waren so einige "Ausflüge", bis ich dahinterkam, woran das liegt

  23. Hello, after recent update, game is unable to load any mission, game just keep on 0 loading forever. Also, after saving any optioncs / keybinds game turn black screen. Log attached. Reproduce: Start game, select fast mission - Mig29A - Takeoff PC: Ryzen 7 9800x3d, 64gb ram, m2 ssd, rtx 5080 *No mods, slow repair + cleanup used (didn't help) dcs.log
  24. other than before i can not lock onto a target using the usual tdc button. if locked on via auto-locking methods, i can unlock though, pressing the tdc. is this intentional? if it is, how to lock on if not iva tdc?
  25. the cockpit-zoom leaps into higher levels of zoom without touching the axis. it's only a mig29 issue.
