For AMD users 25.6.1 Anti aliasing is broken. I reverted to 25.4.1 it fixed AA, but now with MSAA on 4x, shadows look trashier, i tried forcing thier quality to ultra in options.lua, it made it somewhat better but not enough. with FSR and TAA on shadows look immensely better, but I get ghosting in WVR and external views when teh camera is moving too fast, and this is unacceptable. Currently I am experincing what the OP mentions, terrible looking shadows on dials and edges in the cockpit, especially when the sun is directly above me. I am going to try a few different drivers now and see what happens

I still enjoy the AV-8B very much and it's free of critical bug that I am aware of except for this very recent regression affecting multiple aircrafts

Mine's just been delivered. The address on the label is correct and Yamato hadn't already tried to deliver it, so fk knows what Pimax was talking about. Probably sitting there giggling, getting me at it. So, cleared customs on the 12th, I finally get it sixteen days later. I haven't opened the box yet, I've run out of energy.

This is not direct 8NM and it depends on several other factors in DCS.

It's frustrating to potentially lose access to something you've paid for and used for years. But realistically, for 3 of the 4 modules, they've been available and widely used for a long time. Issuing refunds for long-used products is complicated — especially when there's no clear consensus on who's responsible. Is ED, after passing on payment to Razbam supposed to refund what they've already paid Razbam and pay out of their own pockets? The F-15E is a unique case, and credit to ED for offering store credits. That shows some accountability. But for the rest... I get it - as a consumer, it sucks too. But the situation is that this is bad for all involved. No one is going to win out of this. It's going to hurt everyone. And that's the reality of it. We're all going to lose, consumer, ED, and Razbam. Expectations should be adjusted accordingly. But it's also worth noting that the 'other sim' doesn't support module support between major versions and people may need to buy new modules for the newer versions. 3rd party devs may or may not support updates between - but that's up to the 3rd party dev's, not the 'big name company' that can't be mentioned here. Really, if ED drops support come 3.0 - they're actually only doing what 'the other sim' does anyway. If they carry on the majority of modules through 3.0 - that's actually unusual. If anything - shouldn't that be recognised for the good will that it is? If anything - DCS supporting their modules through major versions deserves recognition that it's more unusual. I'd hate to see ED do a good deed, and it being used as a rod for their back. On the other hand... I would happily pay for a Huey v2 in DCS 3.0 if it was updated.

I sincerely hope that this matter can be resolved in the way everyone hopes, but as things stand, it looks increasingly precarious. We might be about to experience another “HAWK” incident — and this time, with four modules. I just hope that if they are truly discontinued after version 2.9, we will be able to get refunds for the AV-8, F-15E, M-2000, and MiG-19. Otherwise, at least for me, I might genuinely leave DCS for good.

I haven’t heard about any changes but it may be better to ask around in the Heatblur forums. I think jester starts the alignment omce both engines are online and you turn on both generators

Ordered 12 Feb, email advising of shipping estimated in May, followed by another email a week later estimating shipping in late June or early July. Email received on 14 July stating headset ready for shipment which would be advised in 7-14 days. Email sent from me requesting shipping update received a response this morning that shipping may happen in 2-3 weeks. If it was ready for shipping 2 weeks ago why will it take a further 5 weeks from then to ship . if I am lucky it might ship in late August so I guess I am looking at September for receipt as the earliest! Not happy - Sorry Pimax you are falling waaaay short on meeting customer expectations.

Yeah honestly would be too powerful for PVP (who cares about PVP). Especially combined with active defence. Also i hope those Additional MSI functions won't stop at "MSI track as an L&S and DT2" so proper ATFLIR MSI track contribution will be worked out as well, it is as important.

They shouldnt refund them anyways unless you've had them for 30 days or so; they've been "theoretically" released for the better part of the decade and out of EA (theoretically). It would be nice, yes...but if you know how to fly those aircraft, then you've flown them enough.

I like this idea! The other day I was landing a Chinook in a very remote area. The small dirt road had traffic that looked like an interstate highway. Would love to be able to reduce traffic in remote areas and increase it in urban areas.
