While the plane in the video did not experience landing gear collapase, it was probably damaged beyond repair - my assumption. I've been flying Su-27 for more than 10 years now and I can hardly recall having my LG collapse.

Hi F16 air refueling is really hard for me, maintain a good and stable position under the tanker is an f... challenge especially in VR. Is it possible to have an overlay to show us the pilot situation lights of the tanker like the FLOLS in F18 for the carrier landing ? Thanks

It seems like that V1.41.1 doesn't like any "OPENXR" layer enabled.. I need motion compensation openXR to fly in VR with my motion rig and DCS hangs\Crash when I try to enable it in game... I had to roll back to previous Pimax Play version. (OG Crystal)

It takes a lot of time to develop, support and maintain a dcs mod. Having neverending toxic discussions like it is done in this community does not motivate and is no fun at all. And the time I spent on this will not come back nor would be payed somehow (except few donations thx) So it makes the most sense to focus on more grateful topics in life.

A number of people (of the ones I've assisted or seen in the DCS Discord + Reddit) including myself have experienced an issue over the last months whereby the throttle for the F16 does not work. Looking at the Thrust axis in the controls bindings it shows as a double-bind. This is however not accurate as there is no double-bind with other axises in the F16 or elsewhere. Rescanning devices, restarting DCS and PC have no effect. The current workaround for this is: Clear the binding Save change Restart DCS Add the binding again Save change Restart DCS null

When flying on Germany CW I've noticed the flight path vector and vertical speed indicator are not working correctly. For example sometimes I'd clearly gain altitude while the fpv would still be pointing to the ground. Or I'd enter level flight after take off and the fpv would keep pointing up high. If you are using DLSS then add the below line to your C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\autoexec.cfg file to set the DLSS preset, this is still C by default. You will need to create this file if it does not already exist. This uses the latest presets which will reduce some blurriness/ghosting. The second line is optional but means that DLSS will not be applied to your MFDs or HUD to reduce the ghosting that DLSS can introduce on those. DLSS_Preset = 'K' HUD_MFD_after_DLSS = true

Yeah doesn't sound like a WhisperAttack issue. I'll test it on my end in the coming days when I get a chance to see if the notepad is just broken in DCS, or if it's something else.

Hi Calvin, thanks for asking, no, I haven't. Since I am very happy with the Crystal light performance under 1.36, I did not feel the urge. It just seems weird to me that this head tracking issue persists over multiple software upgrades and is apparently hard to pin down on the developer side. Yes, same result when pasting text from other sources, so this behavior is not normal? However, I’m experiencing the issue regardless of the settings, whether VR or fullscreen on a monitor. Changing the monitor resolution also doesn’t have any effect.

I removed it, and then DCS seems to max out core 0 (see screenshot). Interesting. For sure I am seeing some changes how cores are used, but maybe it does not have any impact over performance. I never had issues with stuttering, just on some scernarios I was CPU bound.

Honestly, there's no need to single out any particular social media websites, they're all absolute garbage for information. I don't care how cynical or jaded someone is, if you're seeking information from randos on social media, you're doing something very wrong. I'm not a fan of only coming to ED for this info, but it's just a game at the end of the day. If they irk me, I'll stop spending, it's an easy solution. I didn't even glance to see what subreddit it was. Yeah, DCSExposed is something else. Literal muckrakers for a flight sim? I remember one guy BREAKING THE NEWS ABOUT THE TROUBLE AT POLYCHOP. You know, the dev that left and got subsequently replaced? A bunch of nothing, leading posts, and citing people that are utterly irrelevant to the issue at hand. That was the one thread I went through on DCSExposed and that was enough. It's incredible that someone can be so vexed with a piece of software and a developer that they have to make a subreddit about it, but also continue to play the game. If ED were to tick me off that much? Uninstalled and I'm done. I'm just gonna find something else to spend my time and money with. There are other sims and other hobbies and I could just save that money and put it into real world flying. That simple. There's nothing sadder than middle aged men playing internet detective about a niche video game.

No. You can use workarounds like 3rd party software to make those key pushes for you, though.

Glad it works for you that way. Although I really hope someone can tell us what to do to get general keybinds for controllers to work generally, like it is intended.

Hi, Thanks for that. Yea it's weird-for some reason DCS is seeing the Aero as not being on or something. I'll keep troubleshooting. Re-booting the system works so I can still play when needed. Again appreciate the help.

I have a virpil collective with the twist throttle. Is there a way to get the throttle moving without a keybind?
