  2. 150gr/sec vs 80gr/sec.... Can you spot the difference?????
  3. You do realize the entire Technical Description Nr234 is the Technical Description of the FW190A8. It is right there at the top...Jadgflugzeug FW-190 A-8. It is not talking about anything that pertains to anything else except the FW-190A8. The subject of the entire document is the Technical Description of the FW-190A8. It very clearly states that if an FW-190A8 receives a BMW 801D2 engine or a BMW801Q/TU engine the aircraft remains an FW-190A8. If you put a BMW801S engine on your FW-190A8 then it becomes an FW-190A9.
  4. You also need to consider pilot skill. Just because you can fly it doesn't mean you can do it well or even know and can manage all the systems on board. I get shot down in the F-16 ALL the time, by cold war era jets no less.

    Brake Problems

Hrrrmmm! @Raven (Elysian Angel) @MiG21bisFishbedL I'm sure you both meant, "make sure the slider checkbox is checked for the axis"! A slider or a rotary are both axis.
  6. 10/JG11 was disbanded in June 1944. https://www.ww2.dk/oob/bestand/jagd/b10jg11.html It is impossible for them to have received FW-190A8/R4's as the unit did not exist. Rodieke does not list his source for this information but he definitely notes the discrepancy and even produced the same documents I have shown you that approved GM-1 in July 44. It could be a typo as Focke Wulf and RLM were testing GM-1 in the FW-190A in late 1943 beginning of 1944. The edition of the installation manual I have is March 1944. The Endurance Testing of GM-1 in the BMW801D2 is from November of 1943. It passed with flying colors at 150gr/sec. That installation at 150gr/sec was probably tested in December 1944 by 10/JG11 and it would have been in an FW-190A5/6/7. BMW changed the injection rate to 80gr/sec which would have enacted another series of testing and that injection rate was specifically noted as approved in July 1944. The FW-190A8 was conceived with the installation of GM-1 or a 115 liter Auxiliary tank. It was designed that way. Why you think BMW clarifying as the ENGINE builder that they will only handle the ENGINE building part of providing GM-1 and leave the AIRFRAME building portion up the AIRFRAME builder is puzzling. What is a definite fact is 10/JG11 did not exist at the turn of the year 44/45 for them to receive a variant whose designation was defunked a year before and clarified in Technical Order Nr234.
  7. Check for axis conflicts for the rudder. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

  9. We do have a Mirage 2000C manual this Agard paper has some good info on the cockpit https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA310523.pdf
  10. Thanks SERP International for recording our event and to everyone else that participated in the first mission of our first campaign! Hope to see everyone at the next public event! https://www.youtube.com/live/DhEGcfPtbo4 Please note that this group is led by a group of flight enthusiasts, and none of us claim to be experts!

  12. Screenshots speaks volumes! Are you putting them under \Saved Games\DCS\mods\"relevant folder" or \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\mods\"relevant folder\? The first path is the correct one. If you are new to mod managers in DCS. Adding ONE mod manually to see if it works, as the first step could potentially show you where it fails. (I love OvGME, but it's not developed anymore, and I've switched to it's successor Open Mod Manager. People will tell you they don't like the new one, while both's creator is actively engaging with the users in OMM's forum thread). Do you get any error messages? Like not activated, or are you just not seeing them in the Mission Editor. The activation errors means they're in the wrong path. If you just don't see them. Try clicking the clock icon on the bottom of the ME screen. No, no such thing in DCS. Pinging @Rudel_chw, who has written an excellent tutorial here somewhere on the use of OvGME. Probably in the mod apps section. Cheers!
  13. 1. In a mission, fly a specific altitude, airspeed, over a specific landmark pitch up to a specific angle at about 1.4 G. 2. fire the rockets and press active pause to use ruler and see how far the rocket type goes 3. Write down the distance with the altitude and speed you started at Usually 20 or 30 degrees is best.
  14. Not familiar with those mods from Hawkeye, but with regards to OvGME - make sure that the file(s) you are trying to use have the correct file structure in the zip. Sometimes the initial sub folder may be duplicated twice. Also ensure that, in your case OvGME, is pointing to the correct location in DCS (detailed in the readme). (I may not be using the correct terminology, but in my case, sometimes when you actually unzip the file, the first folder is named the same as the next underneath - which ‘can’ confuse things like OvGME, or the one that I use - JSGME). Hope your issue gets resolved soon.
  15. The publicly available documentation for the M2000C (let alone the -5)is almost non existent.Dassault / French are very strict on keeping all the manuals classified. Real HAF pilot told me that they have to study all the materials on a secret place inside the base, absolute nothing is leaking outside. Razbam managed to develop the plane to the current level only after their collaboration with the French Air Force, which was an unthinkable gift to the flight sim community. I hope we will not loose it
  16. Mk-82 delay fuzes are doing the same thing for me. Nose plugged, FMU-152 Tail Fuze set to a 4 h Function Delay. Dropped from an F-4E, I tried all 4 arming settings. Only safe didn't detonate. I also replicated the issue with M115, M116, and M117 delay not working, dropped from a Corsair Mk-82 Delayed Fuze Not Working F-4.trk M115-M116-M117 Delayed Fuze Not Working F4U.trk
  17. I was not defending Ron. I just pointed out that is probably more of a chance winning the lottery than him giving up the Source Code. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Hi, we are aware and have fixed it on our side already. It should be in the next update in August
  19. We have no idea what they did during that period.
  20. One more CTD with Windows 11!! No program running in the background! Silverdevil: Will renaming DCS-folder! THX! Do you think I should deactivate the autostart hook? dcs.log dcs.log-20250727-230214.zip dxdiag.txt
  21. I'm replaying Reforger campaign and there is no carrier crew on any of the missions and I have to hook to catapult manually. Is there any chance that there is a fix for carrier crew missing.
  22. You know how I started fixing my mental health? I realized that if I had a problem with everybody, then Im the problem. Some people just never ask themselves that question, and most certainly Ron should be doing some genuine reflection of himself. Legitimately burned his own business to the ground to spite ED because he was caught with his hands in the cookie jar. If Ron doesnt want to reflect on that then good riddance.

    FAST PACK

two requests that are bound to repeat themselves: - CFTs - A2G for some reason...
  24. No, I get it. Bought them all on day 1, but to keep them current kind of makes you wonder if ED pays 3rd parties a percentage to keep them updated rather than a flat rate per module. Harrier should have been done years ago.
  25. As Raven stated, set it to be a slider instead of axis in the tuning window. It'll take some getting used to since you don't really 'feel' anything like you would in an actual airplane. But, just be gentle and increase input as you get slower.
  26. A few thoughts the mirage 2000, most of the documentation used is publicly available. Some misc documents related to the 2000-5 exist F-15, there are some F-15SA (Saudi EX) manuals around, a few hundred pages. Not sure what they would do for radar but most of the plane itself is well documented. Sea harrier. In addition to the manuals being publicly available (albeit not online) some papers from the UK national archives on Blue Vixen are available and quite detailed.
