I recently found out the two spinning drums at the base of the HUD are actually meant for tracking the position the pilot head/helmet. Cool. I mostly use my Fulcrum to simulate being a billionaire that can afford a Mig-29 purely for joy-riding. The little spinning drums are slightly distracting in VR. Is there any way to turn them off in the module?

Ach das ist das? Okay, danke für die Info. Ich war da auf das Monocle am HMS fokusiert. Auf diese drehende Sensoren habe ich überhaupt nicht geachtet.

Would be great to see some more RAF skins like these 74 Sq ones (hate to see the HB F-4E being used for these)...

Select the "cold start" option and it should appear a "uncontrolled" checkbox. Click it and aircraft should remain parked. You can even activate it with a trigger at a later stage.

Visibility range of aircraft external lights
Cgjunk2 replied to twistking's topic in DCS Core Wish List
The new Mig 29A unfortunately has this problem. Tiny nav lights and position lights are rendering as very bright and very large light orbs that completely occlude the aircraft once you’re a mile away. It’s just goofy looking. I don’t think that this a problem with the base graphics engine of DCS, because other nav lights on some other planes don’t have this problem. I have heard that some people can perceive “point-source” light as bloomed, smeared, or haloed if they have significant astigmatism. Could this be a possible reason why some planes or light sources are modeled with excessive blooms, and others without? -
Hi community, anyone who knows a methode to set real planes (i.e. a MIG 29) - not structure planes (!) - on parking position of an airport which stay in its position up of the beginning of a mission and doesn´t move anytime. Tried all kinds of starts without setting a waypoint but all planes allways start taxiing, take of and are beginning a CAS-mission! Thanks in advance!

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill
AvgeekJoe replied to currenthill's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
I find "CAS" allows for precise targeting of ground groups and objects. -
Back to topic: The thing that i want to see from a dynamic campaign above everything else is modularity. I'd be hyped to play a cool dynamic campaign that's delivered "as-is", but i get even more excited by the idea of building my own little dynamic missions/operations without needing to script advanced AI routines, C2 and logistics... Instead of setting up different enemy flights and creating a ton of triggers, i could hopefully just select an opposing strategic element (f.e. a fighter wing), give it a home airbase, set strength in aircraft numbers, weapons and manpower, set stance (aggressive, defensive etc.) hook it up to logistics (resupply) and give it one or multiple taskings. Then only add friendly forces and mission goals. Granted this would not yet make a grand strategic campaign, but it would allow everyone to create a dynamic mission with near endless replayability in a few minutes.

Can you export the RWR and MPCD in FC4 for the F15?
Bigity replied to sobe's topic in F-15C for DCS World
Pretty sure exporting any RWR requires modifications to lua files. The MFD should export same as other FC modules. -

Спасибо обоим. Буду знать, что в песочнице ставить

The only part that should work with ILLUM is each sensor picking up the lost lock of the other. And fully implemented coop will force radar to MPRF

Reshade VR Enhancer Mod (VREM)
lefuneste01 replied to lefuneste01's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hello. I’m happy you finally sorted it out. The technique is working on the full image by default. VREM enable to filter effects for inner or outer quad view (all techniques) or cockpit/external view (VREM technique). Haze control is only controlling strenght of it.So there is no option other than playing with technique settings... -
noted What's the deal with missing crew for all the new ground units
twistking replied to twistking's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Fair enough. I still think that even static crew (no animations other than perhaps separate dead/alive states) would be much better than unmanned guns. Might look weird in promotional close-up videos, but would provide a much better game play experience.- 26 replies

Oh I misread the changelog. I assumed that the coop mode worked in illuminate (i thought dummy was just a training mode for simulated targeting) so I thought it was part of the bug

loscsaba86 started following Fog is vibrating if using DLAA

Hello Community, If I am using DLAA and if I enable the fog, it is vibrating like a disco :). Totally unrealistic. With MSAA I don't have this problem. Did you already also see this bug?

What's the deal with missing crew for all the new ground units
NineLine replied to twistking's topic in DCS Core Wish List
We do have full-time animators, but they are busy guys. While accurately and fully animated crews would be nice for each and every model we do, in some cases, we did not have time or the resources for it. As an example, the A-10C II new pilot model is coming; it's waiting on animations to be completed.- 26 replies

I can confirm this issue too. Not only the trening mission, always now - just yellow HUD if you touch someting (day/night).

This was a simple misunderstanding. While developing, the test bed is Caucasus, Modern Era and Single Player. This is not to overwhelm the development of the DC. As you can imagine, different maps, eras and MP would add extra challenges that are better handled when the basics are done. It is NOT planned to limit it to one map, one era and SP. Hope this clears this up a little. Thanks.

What bug? It’s supposed to work with radar in dummy.
