  1. Past hour
  2. Can't believe how much time I spent the first time setting things up until I started using Helios. Then it kind of dawned on me because you get the visual representation. [emoji4] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. This is a silly one, but it has been wrong for quite a long time (probably a year or so). It's practically impossible for me to capture a screenshot of it to show here, but this is pretty simple to reproduce: Get a SU-25T to spawn in Cold Start, start the Right Engine and go to the External View (F2) and watch the Left Engine start instead. And vice-versa. In cockpit view, the RPM gauge shows the correct engine RPM increase. Only the exterior model has them swapped. Same problem when stopping the engines.
  4. IRST and Radar lock interfaces are pretty much identical on HUD. It is impossible to lock with radar or missle head as R-27 are not fox 3. Maybe you are referring to IR (ТП) lock ?
  5. For my MS SW FFB2 I have to swap axis in all modules. Open control settings. Click on the FFB2 column, click the FFB tune button on the bottom. Then click swap axis. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. A while ago there were rumours circulating that a V-22 was in development by an undisclosed 3rd party. I seem to remember even Wags hinted at it
  7. Does anyone have/know where I can find/have a link to a picture of the stick and throttle with all the buttons labelled, such as you can find in a Chuck's guide, for example? I like to map the buttons on my throttle and stick as closely as possible to that of the real aircraft. Thanks.
  8. I want this so bad! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Is there a list of all preset radio channels for Russian airports? I could not find it in the kneeboard or cockpit. For example, it exists on MiG-21's right wall. In MiG-29 I have to take a guess which channel is preset to which frequency.
  10. Worth noting that the bellows measure "airspeed" at the bellows intake sitting on your tail, next to the anti-collision light. If that probe gets damaged (e.g. combat damage) or clogged (e.g. ice/frozen when flying without pitot-heat turned on), it cant do its job and the bellows will go absolutely bonkers on your stick. And since the trim-system connects to the bellows, the trimming wont do anything useful anymore at all either. And since the engineers didnt think of adding a way to disable the bellows/bobweight linkage, you will have a fun time flying back home. The procedure is to disable all assistance systems by pulling the ARI CB (left subpanel), disabling the STAB AUG system (left console aft) and pulling the CBs for AIL, STAB and TRIM (right wall). Set trim to 0 so when the system kicks back in you wont be caught by surprise. Then hard grip the stick, not let it go, and descent to hotter air to hopefully remove any bellow intake blockage. Until the problem is resolved you have to actively fight the bellows wanting to throw your stick around like crazy.
  11. Whenever I hit play again it takes me back to the into "mission" when the actual mission loads in the LANTIRN is not working. Something is happening with the .miz files loading in a chain.
  12. Why am I getting radar locked symbol in my HMD using irst when I have the radar turned off???...is it a bug? ,or does it turn it on when a lock command is issued...OR... is it the missile radar that's locking the target??
  13. Ive been trying to complete a proper cold start, and with my FFBeast base, I am totally unable to obtain a DAMPER OFF light to go off.. any clue ? anywhere where this is addressed ? thanks !
  14. @Hawkeye_UK You said "rivet counters" you bad bad boy! [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. A typical war day of a USAF fighter: >AWACS: Good morning, Mr. Hunt. ... Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves the "A, B, C" >Fighter: Meh, I'm taking a sortie off I believe the F-4E and the F-14A players can elaborate here, their RWRs are of similar design, IIRC. Can those also be considered useless and are those blinded by radar?

  17. Think of it like that: (and ofc i drew the arrows the wrong way around, lmao. Increasing airspeed pulls aft. Increasing G pushes forward) The idea is that it self-balances the aircraft, more or less. When you dive, your airspeed increases. So the bellows start to pull the stick aft to lift you back up. High G typically means high AoA, typically means in order to get back to level flight the stick needs to be pushed forward. So the bobweights get heavier which causes the stick to push forward.
  18. This is happening to me as well, in a newly updated 2.9.20, but only in the Persian Gulf map (and probably in other maps too - I haven't checked any other map yet). I've tried checking in both Client and Player settings. In the Caucasus map, it works fine though.
  19. Транспортники не очень популярны в DCS, погляди на эту тему, в СНГ – никто вообще не летает на чинуке, похоже
  20. I think the key here is they said "Several negative drag errors in logs - fixed". They didn't claim to fix them all. What you're seeing is "normal" (at least in the sense that it's in virtually every log).
  21. Right! Then I saw it somewhere else. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
