I just don’t think it is good business. There are no “boundaries” to ED’s early access model. Does the pace of development so far on the Chinook incline you to believe someone works on developing the module full time, or that someone tinkers with it here and there? Add to it the fact that with every module released, ED has a growing base of modules to constantly maintain with each update… an exponential amount of work that they effectively no longer collect revenue on, but must make sure continue to function. Unsustainable business model aside, the open-ended early access with glacial progress (if any meaningful progress at all) and no ability on behalf of ED to provide guidance on some kind of timeline to when the module will have some basic features has soured me on the whole thing. I’m spending more time with other sims and hobbies. It Is simply not much fun to wallow around the sky in a half-working Chinook that has barely changed since it’s undercooked launch day a year ago.

Known issues, many of them are not in the pinned post

That sums up the QP pretty well. Especially the open sides etc. It suits me perfectly. I have tried running without eye tracking and no DLSS but there is too much shimmer, even with MSAA x4. That's why I run a high but small Foveated region (equivalent to about 4800 pixels) as there are no artifacts with DLAA/DLSS. The Pimax Super is tempting but the reasons I am hesitant are: 1) It's expensive. 2) The form factor is huge. 3) There is a long wait for shipping. I am also interested in the Dream Air. Smaller, lighter and about the same FOV as the Quest Pro.

hmm, we'll check this out, thx

Just a note: The trim tabs on the F4U do not adjust the control surfaces. They are mechanically separated by design. The flight stick will never adjust too.

Hi, we'll see what we can do

Take this as an advice or part of new checklist for ATP after its release 2.9.19. (If it is = coorent as-is.) Cold Start ONLY: For Mavericks loadout It is needed FULL NAVIGATION ALIGNMENT. Without full +8 minutes alignment You can't BSGT AGM65. So don't go with Store HDG. NORM aligngment. BSGT will boxed.F16 boresight 65 NORM.trk STOR HDG aligngment. BSGT will not boxed. F16 boresight 65 STOR.trk

As I didn't pay much attention yet to lieveries and skins I'm struggeling where there is the appropriate storage location for aircraft custom liveries. I found several potential locations: Saved Games\DCS\Liveries Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\<aircraft name> Saved Games\DCS\mods\<aircraft name>\Liveries DCS World\Bazar DCS World\Bazar\<aircraft name> DCS World\Mods\aircraft\<aircraft name>\Liveries DCS World\Core Mods\aircraft\<aircraft name>\Liveries ... and there may be even other locations I didn't find yet. I have no clue where to store which livery and would appreciate some guidance. (to admin: I don't want to open a new topic for my question but did not find another topic covering this issue)

On the MIDS page, it's impossible to correctly modify the date and time. When entering a new date/time using the UFD, the data always appears differently on this DDI page. Additionally, each time the date button is pressed, the MIDS page displays a different date without entering any new data. Is this correct behavior? Is this a known issue?

The Americans became experts at picking up downed pilots in the Pacific. One was the destroyer around the fleet. But Americans submarines picked up hundreds of pilots the last few years of the war. Then you have the sea planes that also picked up hundreds. In some cases both subs and sea planes would pick up pilots just a few hundred meters of Japanese held island. Bullets and shells churning up the sea as the planes landed and grabbed the pilots aboard.

Well may I just say "thank you very much, Sir" because I had never heard of "PC Part Picker" before... then I saw the link you supplied was US/in USD so I thought "oh, that's a shame; a great idea but US focused." Oh no.... it's UK-too! Wow. I will now be having hours of fun with that. One of the bemusing things about this for people like me (who built machines years ago and hasn't kept up with what everything means these days) is all the different combinations of chipsets, interfaces, etc. That website appears to check compatibility and do 'best price', what a fab idea
