  1. Past hour
  2. What problem are you having? That looks like it should be a pretty standard USB controller which should be no problem.
  3. Hey @Yurgon I do not know if they are monitoring this forum but they should (this is official support forum) ...anyway very grateful that Dino himself has responded to the discord question. I am hoping the dev team comes on here and start looking the issues for this module and module get it patched up in a timely manner.
  4. Yup, and now you can recover faster or prevent it better!!!!!
  5. It’s hands written! A pilot could write as small as they want!!!! Warthunder???? lol, if I was a pilot drawing on my map o surely wouldn’t write instructions for different legs on top of each other making it impossible to read!!!!!!!!!
  6. Glad you got things working again, but if your computer crashes to restart that's a sign that something isn't right. Expanding your pagefile might have been part of the issue, but fixing that is a bandaid. Check your temps and clean any dust. Check that your drivers are up to date. DCS shouldn't be able to crash you to restart (I'm sure there is some tiny possibility, but it is extremely rare).
  7. This review has convinced me to learn the OH-58 and its systems so I can experience this adventure for myself. I've explored the Yoyo's capabilities in the Mi-24 campaign, and I expect a lot of fun. Thanks for the review.
  8. Hopefully ED considers making your mod an official feature so it can be integrated into the core game. Your weather effects are some of the best I’ve seen they really add to immersion and realism.
  9. I wish the plane could have an option to fill those empty areas with other screens to put the radar and the PFD at the same time for example... BUT, it would be interesting also to stick checklists, maps, etc as in this video:
  10. By the way the answer to the initial question of this thread is YES Unoffically
  11. Today
  12. Buenas!
  13. Here's the full path for installation. For some reason folks leave out the first bits, dopes like me have a difficult time locating the elusive 'Saved Games' folder. Put your user name in where I have the ****. And C : might be something else in your install, make sure you know at least that. C:\Users\****\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Missions\Campaigns\en
  14. Because the majority don't. The majority spend mabye 100-200 dollars on a stick/hotas they bought at the local store. The low priced TM and logitech stuff outsell the medium and high end stuff many many times. "We" are the odd ones, the freaks, the junkies. There are many enough of us to keep companies like winwing and virpil alive. But we are a tiny fraction of flight simmers. Your average flight simmer, has a T1600, or logitech x52. They never by panels, they don't have rudders. And for them. When they see one game give you a map and 10 flyable aircraft for less then 1 aircraft, 1 map and a required asset pack. It becomes a hard sell.
  15. Thanks for your advice, I'll try renaming the folder and also excluding DCS from the antivirus, even though it has never given me problems with other sims.
  16. Great, it works ! (Kneeboard folder must be named FPV_Drone)
  17. I never made any complex mission, so ain't sure if that is even possible when you are making a campaign. Maybe waypoints are needed? This screen is from mission 6 or 7 of the Outpost Campaign. Anyway, that would not be a solution but rather avoiding the problem.
  18. OK Guys, thank you for your patience... Though, as wrote before, all of my missions are made by me. So if they are made by me, those missions should keep MY Snap views, even if said missions are saved in a way that embeds snap-views... Then why is the default view on the Mig 15, 19 and others zoomed out? BTW, I have never used Flight / Prepare Mission, I use always the green button “Fly mission”….. And indeed, I agree MAXsenna, this topic should probably be moved to the view bugs forum but I could not find a way to do it. But then again, this issue happens, as I have just extensively tested, pretty much exclusively on both Marianas maps In the enclosed .zip a bunch of my missions, ALL of these, without exception, keep the saved Snap views AND default zoom levels! As soon as the Marianas maps are involved, then this problems starts. That’s why I never experienced this before installing the WWII Marianas map. Don’t any of you REALLY experience this issue? And of course, latest DCS version....... Missions-OK.zip
  19. That’s false. ED have stated multiple times DCS is stuck with FSR1 for now because of technical reasons. They’ll update it to a later version once we have Vulkan.
  20. Are Tomcat Case I-III recoveries documented anywhere? Official Heatblur DCS F-14 Tomcat — Heatblur F-14 Tomcat 1.0 documentation does not have anything on carrier landing, and while there are some videos on YT on Case I (some 4+ years old) but where is the actual as-implemented DCS F-14A/B documentation on carrier ops? Hard to believe there's none.
  21. I'm not sure where your expectations come from to be honest. Who do you know who is running ryzen 56 and RX6600 GPU and getting great performance in DCS at medium/high settings? I'm sorry if this isn't helpful, but while your CPU and GPU might represent decent value for money, neither are high performers. So the best thing you can probably do is to accept that your hardware is not underperforming. Then it might be easier for you to use lower settings and keep the game playable. It doesn't need to be on high settings to be very immersive. A few years ago we were all enjoying games in 640x480.
  22. OMG THIS IS HUGE. Ive been trying to figure out how these packets are structured for the better part of 3 hours now, and i only got to about 1/5th of whats on that github. Being able to communiate with this guy would be amazing, so if you wouldn't mind it'd be great if you could dm me his reddit. cheers
  23. FWIW, when using and external flight model, what DCS is built to simulate kinda stops mattering (based on what ASC head said, and other discussions about EFMs).
  24. Perhaps the easy solution is to just not have as many waypoints that closely together. In your example picture you seem to be following the coastline. Surely there is no need for 5 (?) major course corrections within a couple miles.
