The lamp wont light up at a precise point, the sensor lights up when it thinks it is neutral, almost like in a dead zone. we have checked and its not a bug. thank you

Most Efficient BVR climb and Highest performance Speeds
Ironhand replied to AeriaGloria's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Not sure what this is referring to—must have missed it—but thank you for the enthusiasm. I’m still a few days away from having the update downloaded (slow internet) so that I can finally download the MiG. Looking forward to jumping into the cockpit. -
Radar cuts off even itself, not just SPO. It cuts off itself. And then this signal is just copied to SPO too. Othervise radar would have shown only a white wall at all times instead of contacts and clutter. So yes when radar is emitting, SPO is "closed". Indeed. You just have to understand this "disabling" lasts for 3 microseconds every next 3 microsecons. This is HPRF duty cicle, MPRF is much much easier.

We are investigating MSI work has complicated things a little but we are working on it, please dont forget the complexity of what we are dealing with. thank you -
Ironhand started following DCS MiG-29A Flight performance and air drag seems weird
-
this is already reported, I have moved the post to the main section as it is a clarification question not a bug report parse thank you
-
Hi, I have already reported this to the team and it will be fixed in a future patch. thank you
-
I'm quite certain you both have if you've locked with the radar. If locking with the irst or any of the IRST close combat mode you won't see it since your not locking with the radar.

can you attach a short as possible track replay example on Caucasus and we will take a closer look. When I try with my pimax crystal all seems ok
-
Hi, I will remind the team, but currently it is a lower priority issue. thank you

I am a winwing user and I will be glad to get the Head down display. (HDD) extracted in the Right MFD I added the lines dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") update_screenspace_diplacement(1, true, 1) try_find_assigned_viewport("RIGHT_MFCD") to the file: D:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MiG-29-Fulcrum\Cockpit\Scripts\Displays\HDD\indicator\HDD_init.lua But it do work wrong, (the HUD was duplicated in the 3D and my MFD was only a green blurred thing I did the same usingh the left mfd to the ekran display and it worked under the file (Here I used ("LEFT_MFD") D:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MiG-29-Fulcrum\Cockpit\Scripts\EKRAN\Indicator\Ekran_init.lua Could be possible have that done by default like the F18, F16? Thanks

I have the Off/Idle toggle set for the other modules and it's working fine on the throttle button at the end ( to simulate the real life ones ) ... specifically f-16, F/A-18, F-5 and MB-339 I'm absolutely sure that they're working fine. But there the issue seems to be that the Toggle button option is not working, while the separate buttons for Idle and Off are working fine. The hole in the ventral tank is for the APU, I'm quite sure ... But about the cannon, it's just my memory ... however, in the game it worked, so it's probably my memory ... but I wanted to check with you

Upcoming Afghanistan Deployment: OPL Phase 2
Salt Markaram replied to Wing's topic in Community News
Sounds like a solid lineup of missions, especially with the mix of A-10 and F-16 roles. The variety of SEAD, CAS, and DEEPSTRIKE tasks should keep things challenging for all skill levels. -
It needs to be a link to the actual released source. We all know lots of documents are leaked online so we have to be very careful about what is posted here. Documents that have secret classification but on a google drive link for example isn't a verified public source. thank you
-
So you simply don't have this document. It's Chapter 6. Use of Individual Electronic Warfare Equipment. It's for aircraft 9-13.

unable to reproduce DCS crashes on cold starting F16
BIGNEWY replied to Blacksheep32's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi, we have taken a look, we are unable to reproduce when we try. Please ensure all unofficial mods are removed ( if any ) and run a slow repair or verify if steam. thank you -
For the FC version you would be correct. However in full fidelity that's just a steering cue for best intercept to the target. The diamond will show how far your antenna is positioned off to the side.

Bump for price update -
I do agree that it's helps when cranking. It's sadly though terrible if you want help getting eyes on target to see if they launched first.

The combat manual for 9-12 does not state anywhere that the SPO-15 can be operated with the radar turned on.

DCS MiG-29A Flight performance and air drag seems weird
Qiou87 replied to HoMeBoY's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
If I understand you well, you have 2 main points: - the jet doesn't degrade speed like you expect ; in this area I would say we are probably poorly equipped to judge as it is not very comparable in terms of aerodynamic design to the US jets you mention. For example the wing area of the Mig-29 is 38m², compared to 28m² on the F-16. My understanding is that the flight model is done based on publicly available data, which is plentiful considering the age of the jet. But I could be wrong here. - the jet's performance is "too fast". The fastest jet in DCS so far was the F-16C (in a drag race) with a thrust-to-weight ratio of 1.08 considering a clean jet with full internal fuel. The MiG-29A has 1.12 in the same configuration. Based on videos like GR's drag race test, the MiG-29 actually performs as one of the best, but not the best fighter in pure performance. The fact that it performs well at high altitude is probably due to its relatively larger wing area compared to its weight (it has a very similar empty weight to the F/A-18, similar wing area as well, but 0,5t higher thrust in full afterburner). All data comes from Wikipedia. -
Planned by ED, but not dates.
