  2. As I wrote earlier with PC it is a regular mouse. And yes - it is a botton clicker. But a botton clicker with a mouse wheel! And this wheel can be pressed too! I have no experience with PointCTRL. My headset (HTC Vive Pro 2) does not support hand tracking. For hand tracking I use LeapMotion. I was planning to use D06 mouse with Fingers or HTCC programs. In my opinion HTCC is less convenient. The trackpad works. But it is inconvenient to use it in the cockpit. It is easier to move the pointer with a hand movement. It is also inconvenient to use it for navigating the program menu. Because if you are already distracted from the game, it is easier to use a regular mouse. I bought only one device but already ordered another one. I would like to have them on both hands. My experience with D06 mouse is only a few days. I tried it on several crafts (P-47, F/A-18, Mig-21, Mi-8). D08+Fingers proved to be better than just HTCC. Less false positives plus tactile sens. P.S. English is not my native language.
  3. Thanks everyone, I will try your suggestions. Also @Despayre I went to the back seat because I thought it was the only way to find and zoom in on targets for bombing. (I need to read the manual again)
  4. Well... Have found Two(2) quotes from actual A-4C/E Combat Jocks. Both said that the aircraft is very maneuverable, and fun to fly - but either impossible, of for not very long, to trim hands off. Has analog mechanical controls and a 720°/sec. roll rate. No free lunch in Physics. On that note: Great Job A-4E-C Community on the Flight Model! Bowie
  5. Iceman AI will trim pitch up/down all the way when active pause. This is caused by how active pause works. Active pause will preserve momentum applied to plane. So the Iceman AI (Not true AI, just autopilot interface honestly) will keep trim to counter this momentum. What you have to do is de-active pause in RIO seat first, let iceman trim to normal position, and then hop into pilot seat.
  6. I'm 51 years old and I had a walkman.) It was only now that I realized what they had done, just like in real life. We need to listen to the rest or rewind the tape to the end.))) I liked this music. Song1.7z
  7. Thanks Calvin.
  8. I haven't checked in a while, and I'm running v 7.4.0, so there might be something newer, I don't get the full experience, I'm on my own until my nose is pointed somewhere near a cat, and then I'm guided in by the deck crew, and everything is normal from there.
  9. With spoilers out, speed brakes out, NWS on, and full aft stick using the horizontal stabs as massive air brakes, I typically have zero issues maintaining centerline and stopping quickly with minimal wheel brake use.
  10. Using the handbrake avoids the differential braking issue, it's pretty much a fast and easy braking, as long as you're under about 85. (realists hate this one simple trick )
  11. I never hop into the RIO seat for anything, so I may be giving some useless information here, but if you flip the autopilot on, it instantly trims your plane to neutral. Have you tried that? Also, what are you getting into the RIO seat for? (unless you're actually flying as the RIO)

  13. Could you please share the order# with me via DM?
  14. Perhaps it's because the F-16, F-18, and Ah-64 are in active service and thus have a chance to attract more new customers. The Mi-24, having long since outlived its glory days, is no longer attractive to new generations. It remains a target for enthusiasts and lovers of Soviet engineering, and therefore, is no longer as profitable. That's my thought.
  15. It's been a while since I did AAR in the F-16. I personally found it easier to zoom out a bit and not even focus on the lights. I got to where I could do it consistently. When training in my own personal mission, I would top off on the tanker before landing. I got a bit rusty because I started learning the F/A-18. I find the 18 is easy to AAR. It seems more forgiving. My first attempt I hooked up and took a full load without a disconnect. I bounce back and forth between the two. When I come back to the F-16 it takes me a few times to get back to where I cad do it, but when going back to the F/A-18 I have no problem.
  16. This is just my personal opinion. Actually, such a subtitle on/off function shouldn't be difficult to implement. ED could probably add something like that to the menu. Unless I'm an exception. Have fun. The campaign is definitely worth the time invested. I'll definitely be returning to it. When I finish this one, I'll tackle Palestrael on the Mi-8 again. Another well-done campaign by ddgoofy. I saw that you finished the Yoyo campaign, and I agree with what you wrote. I've already finished it too.
  17. @silverdevil, Thanks for the reply! I just tried it and it seems it worked, thanks!
  18. The exaggerated talk of the Corsair's supposed difficulty in carrier landings also comes from before they fixed the oleo struts and added the stall strip to the starboard wing, correct? By the time the -1D came about I assume much of the initial quirks and difficulties had been mitigated enough to make it a pleasant aircraft to fly.
  19. did you do this? if you are having failures for everything first off, then this is a good step. your issue obviously is not a DCS problem since the forum has not exploded with similar reports. i do not personally have issues. where are you in the world?
  20. I don't get that at all. Sounds like something is broken. Contact their support.
  21. It is definitely on ED's side. Not just making them switch but accessing all of the others, except the one (Pilot out) that is currently exportable using RIGHT_MFCD. My files in the first post were just preliminary "patches" for Helios.. As I'm sure you found out, in each one of the mfd init files, you just need to un-comment the script that ed has in there by default ( in the GC_Base folder) and give each one its own name, any name. And use that in your monitor file.. However the switching of them is done in some code that we don't have access to ( I believe). Same scenario as the apache tedac. Even in the Apache the only way to get the main mfd's to switch is to use LEFT_MFCD and RIGHT_MFCD and just one of each and it will flip back and forth between pilot and CPG. I don't think the CH-47 viewports have even been thought about. I mean the script is already written in the files, then they commented it out of all except one viewport..
  22. ** MOST RECENT UPDATE **: v3.6 - July 29th, 2025 *Changelog:* THE SNIPER POD IS HERE - All missions where the Targeting Pod is relevant (About half the mission pack) Have had additional client aircraft added with the ATP equipped on the jet. All aircraft are labeled with either 'LITENING' or 'SNIPER' tags, but if I missed one, just remember, if it doesn't say 'Sniper', it has the old pod. Other Changes: - '.Basic - Air to Air Guns' has been moved to Advanced. This was one of the earliest missions I made and it is absolutely not a true beginner test of skill. - A new mission: '.Basic - Aerial Gunnery Basics' has been added with unresponsive, unmoving F4 Phantom drones for a truly basic AA guns practice mission. - A LITENING & SNIPER pod client has been added to the 'Fight the Phoenix' mission, for those of you who want to practice your BVR target ID skills. - Targeting pod client aircraft have been added to the 'Weapons - AG Guns & Unguided Rockets' mission.
  23. Trying to run Voice Chat (Win11). I do not get any response when I try to test my mic. The Mic tests fine in Win11 and discord but nothing in DCS Voice Chat Mic test . Any ideas ? Running Sound output and Mic through 5.1 headphones attached to ASUS Xonar sound card. Mic sampling rate tried at 44100hz. Have also tried setting Microphone to (Xonar Sound card) as well.

  25. An issue i have been encountering for a while. As the title states, the takeoff rotation in the F-16 in DCS seems to be very slow. In the video below you can see that the F-16C IRL with this configuration needs around 1 second to go from nose at horizon to takeoff pitch (10°) - When i replicate the same configuration(2x bag, 2x GBU-12, 2xAIM-120, LITENING) - Calculate takeoff speed (Rotate 161kts, takeoff 176) - Im barely able to acheive 10° in 4 seconds, and im at 200kts before im able to go weight-off-wheels. - Realisticly, 200kt with weight-on-wheels is dangerous and can lead to over stressing the wheels. Thanks for the job that you do mods! F-16 TAKEOFF BUG TRACK.trk
