  6. Today I was training AAR with this wonderful mission pack ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3338016/ ). My issue is, that I always receive the message from the tanker "Transfer complete. Disconnect." after about 20-30 seconds of refueling but at this moment my tanks are only half full. What am I doing wrong? How can I refuel completely?

  15. You're spot on on this. I believe you've found the issue. APU RPM% gets stuck at 60% if any engine is out of the fuel cut off position or idle before the APU is fully started. (not a bug)

  20. I went for accuracy by volume of "fire". The chances of OP also having a confusion on the gauges are high given how cluttered the front panel is and the APU EGT gauge which usually hovers at the 6 marker on startup of an engine is right next to the actual APU RPM gauge with the name 'APU' a bit covered at certain angles. Is hard to fumble the apu start. Is easy to forget the APU gen switch as no other module (american) has that need to turn on the APU gen. I took my chances. As an addition. The Warthog without fuel while attempting to turn on the APU will feature the RPM stuck at 30%:

  22. how have you been @SloppyDog ive mounted my doorgun on my rig, and trying to get back to mission building and just shooting the doorgun. i did fly last week to test my setup. my pilot was all over the place, rocking and tilting, too high too low... i have to look at tutorial on how to set huey to trim out and fly at a constant speed hope to have result soon

I recommend to use the free flight mission in Caucasus to train with this, with more training you can understand about the aircraft more, and with greater flexibility, some of the important details are hard to explain and is wordy, i think the reflected simulation or the heatblur manual should make a tutorial about it

  26. OP very clearly said the APU RPM doesn't go above 60%. In the Caucasus Cold Start mission, that's not the case. I could switch on most consumers (IFFCC, radios, countermeasures, EGI+CDU, and a few more), switch on APU Gen, and then Battery + Inverter + APU Start, and it would start just fine and all electric consumers would come alive as the APU reaches 100% RPM. Just to be clear, we shouldn't be doing this (I distinctly recall a SME saying "You don't start the APU loaded"), but it doesn't explain OP's observation.
