That's surprising. I could imagine that the texture of the runway throws off the algorithm. Or maybe the missiles don't provide motion vectors correctly? Or the missiles do, but the wing doesnt? It must have something to do with motion vector differences between the rail (which is part of the aircraft mesh) and the missile (which is not). Otherwise you should see the same mismatch between wing and rail...

Weird Rocking Behaviour in Auto Hover & Auto Slave

This problem also bothers me. Since the Auto-Collective function has been removed, we need to control the Collective ourselves when hovering. if the operation is not done properly, the auto-hovering will be cancelled. When you operate HOT3 at the same time, this problem is further exacerbated. I also noticed that even with good collective control, auto-hover was often disrupted by "Weird Rocking Behaviour", as GrEaSeLiTeNiN said. Reducing the load or lowering the hovering height can alleviate the problem. Or don't use the SLAVE function, so you need to operate the collective and HOT3 weapon systems and rudder at the same time when attacking the target, which is very painful for single players!Perhaps it is a manifestation of insufficient power under the new FM, or the automatic hovering function still has problems. -

This is my favorite helicopter, no doubt about it! I hope to add a simple AI to help us use weapons. After the 2024 update, the aotu-collective function was removed. Although it is more realistic, it is more difficult for single-player players to operate HOT3. It would be great if an AI similar to MI-24 could be added. Players can specify the location where the AI searches for targets and select targets from a list. When the AI completes aiming, a direction prompt appears on the screen, and the player uses the rudder to aim at the prompt in order to launch the HOT3. Furthermore, a simple pilot AI can also be developed, just like the function of the OH58D. Currently, if you operate the HOT3 in the co-pilot, you also need to control the collective in order to maintain altitude and hovering stability, which is really too painful.

The system having a blanking circuit and sync with the radar was never in dispute. Idk why the thread keeps looping on this. The debate is if it's able to handle blanking with HPRF waveforms or not. And assuming for a second that this is true. As far as im aware it's still being disabled when the radar is transmitting in MPRF, and has not been mentioned by the devs as being incapable of handling it. So this portion is at least can be concluded to be a bug and should get corrected. If newy can get some more clarification from the team on why the blanking circuits cant handle HPRF signals that would get great. Then this debate can actually be productive and the right sourcing can be found to prove or disprove it. Otherwise this is just going to keep going nowhere.

Microsoft and ED are 2 different companies, plus ED has its own dev team which doesn't require other parties to do complex work. There are 2 jets out of EA recently, F/A-18c and F-16c maybe some others but anyway so ppl have some free time even tho development on those jets is not over, workload is not as much as before with those 2 mentioned jets. Ofc F-35 is coming, MiG-29 is out etc.... So with resources to allocate elsewhere they would be foolish to miss out on getting the full cake for this one, cause Rafale sales are going to be huge. That's what I think about 3rd party on Rafale. But lets wait and see.

Варианта два. Первый. Не правильно назначен канал. Просто помним, что частота назначенная на номер 1 в редакторе это канал ноль в кабине. Вариант два. На земле работает кнопка "связь". После взлета через нее докричаться до кого то не реально. Надо использовать кнопку "микрофон, кнопка радио". Если мне память не изменяет, она по умолчанию не назначена. Абсолютно аналогично с тем, что есть на Элке.

Hi all... I'm writing about an issue that has been known for many years but still affects DCS: the energy management of AI-controlled aircraft. I created a test mission: F-14 (human controlled) vs. SU-27 (AI set to Ace). If you look at the Tacview file that I've attached, the final part of the engagement is particularly telling, after the initial rolling scissors phase. The SU-27 manages to follow the F-14 in the vertical despite starting with an initial energy deficit of 0.2 Mach (F-14 at 0.99 Mach vs. SU-27 at 0.8 Mach). When the SU-27 starts its climb, it's evident that it experiences virtually no energy loss. Can anything be done to address this apparent bug in the AI's flight model/logic? Thank you. I also have issues with AI F-4 flying into the ground on very regular basis. It almost always happens when the AI F-4 is doing a split-S.

Sure, it can be bypassed via a VPN but from a compliance point of view they can at least say they have taken reasonable steps and they no longer have any case to answer. Its not the first time this kind of voluntary block has happened either. Quite a few US sites geo-blocked EU/UK access in at least the short term around the time when GDPR legislation kicked in.

Hello I´m very happy with the MiG29- best module ED ever made. I really enjoy flying the Fulcrum. But unfortunatelly the missile R27 guidance has to be fixed and I must confirm the reports above here. Even if the target has no ECM on and no chaffs , just some rolls are enough the bring the R27 of track. It is so confusing and frustrating because even no "beaming" or cold turns or high g turns are necceasary to evade the missile even with stabile locks. I want kindly ask ED to update the missile guidance and I´m aware of that the module is under EA conditions. So far - A great job with the MiG29 was done and my heart is on fire for it. sorry. i really have no idea what you mean. in my case, nvidia does nothing to save control bindings. all i can say is by default DCS keeps its own bindings in Saved Games folder in a subfolder called DCS or DCS.openbeta et al. \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\config\Input -

I think you are correct. I tried a few presets, including J and K, but wasn't super happy with any of them when it comes to spotting. I feel like DLSS just sees other aircraft as "noise". -Ryan
