  5. Phantastic new shots, wow, what an improvement, Ghostrida! Your details are awesome. Regarding the hangars, I have to add that the current front doors are wrong. The big aircraft doors had been replaced by smaller section doors for vehicle usage after the last Harrier GR7 left the air base in 1993. 1993 to 2016 the British Army took over the airfield and exchanged the hangar doors. So to represent the air base buildings correctly, you should use the big hangar doors because of the aircraft maintenance options. Here some examples: Hope this helps.

  11. HI, I'm asking here because I wonder if this might be a setup of the plane in the mission rather than a 'module' problem. It happens in VR and 2d. On Mission 3 the pitch ladder is always shifted over to the left hand side of the HUD. Once you get used to it it's perfectly flyable just quite odd and takes your attention. Any ideas what can be done? Thanks, Paul
  12. Thanks for those references, I will change the landing gear height. I don't plan on changing the fuselage dimensions, it would require redoing a lot of animations and other stuff, and the difference is barely visible. This was meant as a simple modding project, not 1:1 version of Su-22 in dcs. If you don't like it's proportion and dimensions then wait for Snipers Su-22

  15. I know it's a kind of old topic, but I was wondering if bank limiter (NAV and TAC) works today as it supposed to work, or is it still not fully implemented? Flown a lot recently, I definitely never saw bank angles anywhere close to 60 degrees with tactical bank selected.

  17. Я может уже забыл, но вроде у 2го квеста была всего-лишь доп. проставка для маски чтобы в очках пользоваться (но могу путать, ибо покупал стороннюю маску). Тогда как у 3го квеста на штатной маске есть удобная "встроенная" регулировка, достаточно кнопоськи фиксирующие нажать и можно увеличивать/уменьшать вынос маски. Вот в сторонней маске для Q3 от AMVR (вроде), там да, механизм пусть надежнее, но проще, дешевле и не столь удобный.
  18. I was amazed to see very bright electrical lines, glinting in the sun IRL. Granted, it was not the case as in the OP. Also note they are exclusively 1 pixel thick in DCS and always black if not bugged otherwise. Not very realistic - the lines can either be very visible or almost invisible in some cases IRL.
  19. A definite “area of opportunity” that DCS has in the multiplayer realm is consistency of mods. There are some ace mods out there, but if a player tries to join a server and the player doesn’t have a mod that’s needed to join, all they get is a name of the missing mod. personally, I’d love to have: - a central repository for mods, that would host all mods that are needed to join a server, ie aircraft, ships, statics etc. To exclude skins, which have large texture volumes - the option for the mission hosting server (eg myself) to auto upload to the central repository - when a player attempts to join a server that needs a mod they don’t have, they’re given the option to download from the central repository. Sure, might take a couple of mins, but as we’re excluding larger elements like skins, hopefully the volumes won’t be too onorous
  20. you can change the parameter here: https://gitlab.com/quelcertoleo/big-eye-ewr/-/blob/main/bigeye_ewr.lua#L88 NCTR is non-cooperative target recognition...in DCS it is too simple and it will 100% recognize the target type which is seriously unrealistic, but anyway I left the option to enable it. you can choose to recognize target type (e.g. F-14, MiG-29, etc) or NATO reporting name (Tomcat, Fulcrum, etc)
  21. Historically, the ML/MLA would probably be better for countering the F4 and F1. I'd even want to use the MLD to fight against a 4th-generation jet.

Pps: it would be nice, if you can integrate the small phosphor flares effect from your initial napalm explosion to the cook off & smoke feature. Big thank you for the script!

  26. Very wise. Works great if you're single player, but if you're into multi-player, it's a little less helpful. Being so new, you probably didn't know that we used to have 2 versions - an Open Beta and a Stable release. Those who wanted a more stable option could opt for Stable release, and those who wanted the latest changes yesterday could go with O.B. This worked OK IMO originally for those who wanted to use it (even if a number didn't really understand it properly), but then Stable Release got neglected, going months without updates, and no real 'bedding down' of a version occurred before moving onto the next version, and eventually it because unmanageable for stable release server operators with more forced to move to Open Beta to keep up. Eventually ED dropped Stable release altogether, and only carried on Open Beta as the main version. I have wondered about actually starting some sort of website/voting thing where people give feedback as to which are the better / more stable releases of DCS so there's a list we can work with for a multiplayer aspect who want stable again, but after thinking about it for a while I don't think it'd be that popular so probably wouldn't work.
