PSVR2 - now works with Eye Tracking and Quad Views!

Yesterday i bought psvr2 and adapter. TBH i am not sure what to say. FOV is bigger but sweet spot is smaller and quest2 was not so blurry. I am not sure do i need to put render res in steam vr to 68% or more. I use quad views companion with focus size 10%, foveate res 130% and peripheral 8%. And have stutters over citys even with flat shadows. On quest2 was on high shadows. I tryed steam vr res to 120%, 100%, and 68% and it all looks same blurry. I center headset correctly, that's not issue. -

Maybe this will be helpful to someone. I was experiencing crazy VR issues with only the CH-47F module. But I finally found a fix. Basically, all other modules would perform consistently around 45fps in VR. Roughly 100-120fps without VR. The Chinook performed well outside of VR, but in VR it would drop to only 3-5 fps. When I went back to another module...magically back to the usual roughly 45fps. Very frustrating! First try was the log analyzer in Discord, but no luck. It showed everything was green and good to go. Tweaked settings to see if it would improve, but nothing helped. I stumbled upon a YT video from Spud Spike that solved this for me. The issue appears to be the efficiency cores in the Intel i9-14900 processor. Using the steps in the video to disable the E-cores brought the CH-47F VR up to roughly 45fps. The change did not improve the performance of any other modules, just the Chinook. I think that means that the module, at least in its current state, just uses more CPU than the other modules. And, if you happen to have one of these processors with E-cores, they just can't handle the load. The work needs to be done on a P-core. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to fix this, and maybe this will be helpful to others having VR performance issues with the CH-47F. If you have an Intel processor that uses E-cores, try disabling them when DCS is running. Link: Spud Spike Video

Shut the canopy. Or enable helmet in the audio options. Or both. I don’t know what to tell you. Aircraft are loud. More seriously, check the „world“ audio gain. Generally speaking the environmental audio gain is pretty high in DCS (also applies to the F2 view e.g.) -
ОТкрою вам наверное военную тайну. Иногда у самолёта прям на заводе на той же самой приёмке (и даже самими работниками завода) выявляются дефекты. Но его всё равно принимают, если он способен вообще безопасно лететь конечно. И это не просто из за раздолбайства принимающего или сдающего. На это есть причины. Никто ничего не получает! Для этого есть внутренние документы на которые они ссылаются. Ну конечно если будет ЧП, то возможно прокурор и скажет "А вот в РЛЭ так написано, вы нарушили". В случае со взлётом - это делается что бы поднять нос раньше чем воздухозаборники откроются и камней с полосы не нахватать. А вот если ты камней нахватаешь - то виноват будет опять же лётчик и никакое РЛЭ его тут уже не спасёт. ПО этому лучше заранее и контролируемо поднять стойку без всяких рисков, чем камней поймать. И на той же посадке проще на 300 выравнивание начать и плавно подойти к земле ( путсь даже с небольшим перелётом). Чем на 280 провалиться и ушатать самолёт о бетон. ВЫ вот сами попробуйте в DCS снижаться 3-5 ментров в секунду и на скорости 280 выравнивание с выдерживанием сделать.

There is no difference. I understanding framing it in the inverse feels negative; however, this is a direct reaction of the recent Enigma video and a call for clarification. The things I have listed are the things that I believe many people thought were an assumed baseline given, not a wishlist. I do think clarification is warranted because for people interested in DCS for the gameplay aspect, hearing that the helicopters, maps, and WWII content I have purchased may not even be compatible with the dynamic campaign at launch, maybe "someday" is disconcerting if you have played DCS as long as I have. Someday can be a very distant day indeed, and purchasing decisions/platform investment are predicated on clear communication from the team and trust from the playerbase that they are spending significant amounts of money with the correct expectation.

ДА!) С мануалами по кликабельному МиГу) Кстати да! РЛЭ совсем не закон. И от него в полках например часто отклоняются. Например в РЛЭ написано при заходе на посадку выравнивание делать на 280, касание на 250-260. В полках так никто не делает, выравнивание минимум на 300! Так же написано на взлёте переднюю стойку поднимать на 230-240(или около того). По факту поднимают на 180-190, а в Кущевке например вообще на 150 курсанты поднимают. Так что РЛЭ, это тот же самый забор, который воспринимают как рекомендацию, но не закон)

That's what I thought too, but the trim is isolated from the elevator axis. So, with the trim being backwards, I had to invert the elevator axis in Moza, and that made the trim and elevator work in the same direction. However, as expected, things were now backwards in DCS, and pulling the elevator sitck back would result in a nose dive, so that's why I had to invert yet again, but this time in the DCS control settings for the F4U. So yeah, inverting the inversion kept the elevator behavior the same, but it didn't affect the trim, which now follows the same direction as the elevator. None of this will affect my other modules because I use separate Moza profiles for each aircraft. Cheers, -GT-

A Dynamic Campaign A Save System and a reliable Replay System. I’ll believe this when I see it each one of those is 6-8 years work at the ED pace of development. Plenty of games have these features without spending a decade to develop them or needing such elaborate justification to include them.- 13 replies

ВОзможно некотрые борта (например как выше у Стрижей) откапиталенные, или где то в закромах нашли запасной ИП-52) Кстати им относительно недавно передавали борт, который почти всю жизнь "на приколе" стоял, и у него налёт был всего 300 часов. Так что на нём возможно ещё и зелёная индикация)

you may want to try to run the RAM with no XMP. i hear this tip said a lot in these forums. i personally have XMP and have no issues.

INU Initialize procedure on sea based vessel?

Yep I've noticed that the vessel for the player to to take off are not advancing. I'm just not quite sure if INU will work if the taking off from smaller vessel as they are not that stationary (shakes given the effects of the tide). -

Found out you can also set up payloads in the mission editor and edit those lua files to add the fusing options you want. You can then pick them in MP servers as well. -
