Thanks to Aerges F1 is one of the finest plane to fly in the DCS. But many servers other players criticize that F1's radar is over modeling and therefore Matra 530 radar guided missiles are eliminated. If I uderstand right F1's Cyrano IV radar was very effcient in the Cold War age if we compare to other planes for example F4 or Mig 21 but how realistic is F1's radar modeling.

Try edit the fuze settings to delay the explosion a bit when releasing High Drag Bombs at low level.

I noticed some bugs(?) with the Iskander System it only possible to drive arround with it but not to shoot anything when it is under player control the same apply to the new Tor M2 and pantsir Systems there is no radar and no tactctical radarscreen available iskander no shooting .trk new Pansir no radar .trk new Tor M2 no radar .trk

I have an issue affecting frame rate and stuttering related to my mouse movement while in the sim. Any polling rate above 125 and the issue occurs. I thought this had been patched out sometime ago happens in both VR and 2D. 2D track attached with polling rate at 500. Test.trk

I just checked and they are all definitely there. Maybe he originally just put the fixed ones in, but it's definitely the full packs now.

its been a while since i had a G2, but if thats the case, then yes you can turn settings up ! also make sure if you are doing both CPU and GPU that your PSU can cope with it ...

There's still the problem of feasibility. I don't think we can mod that part of the Mi-24, heck we cannot even add UPK pods or 2 machine gunners at same time!

Thanks for info, that's reassuring. When you say it will increase FPS.... I interpret Frames Per Second to link to stutter/glitching etc. At present, my VR experience is very smooth and I do have most of the graphics settings in DCS set to 'high', it's just that object clarity eg scenery/distance viewing/clouds isn't as good as I would want (cockpit graphics are excellent). So would the increased FPS capacity mean that I get better graphics quality overall?

to be fair I just always assumed that the earlier ones were still require d:) I'm not sure if they all needed fixing , so some may be missing

Just saw your other thread. With 32 GB and a 3080TI you will definitely see a benefit from a 5000er CPU (especially in VR). However, if your MoBo does support it, I would recommend to go for a 5800X3D.

Thanks for the reply. I have 32GB RAM; at present I have a 2070 8GB GPU although am also considering upgrading that too...

Hmmm, confused then. On the web page it says, 'Bagel Fixpack Edition combines these campaigns into one collection', and I've just tried a couple with just installing the originals, and all works fine. Why is the original needed? They would go into different named folders not related to Bagel's stuff at all.

yep...is just another PCI card... it will significantly improve your FPS on the same settings , especially if you combine it with a new processor

IF(!) your motherboard (likely with the latest bios update if ever) does support 5000 series CPUs, you will most likely see "a" benefit. Unless that is, you are otherwise severley bottlenecked. Generally speaking, CPU, GPU and RAM should be somewhat in line with each other. Make 100% sure you MoBo DOES support the CPU you are aiming for. The same Socket alone isn't a guarantee. how much RAM do you have and what is your GPU?

I have an ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard, am considering doing some upgrades to my machine but have to be selective due to price. I already have 32GB RAM, M.2 nVME storage and a GeForce RTX 2070 (8GB)-based graphics card. Hoping to soon upgrade CPU to something like a Ryzen 9 5950X. Is it as simple as swapping out the 2070 card for a new-to-me (second hand), thinking something like a 3080Ti 12GB? I use a HP Reverb 2 VR - will such a graphics card swap result in better graphics in VR or is it the VR headset that is limiting? (it is mainly things like spotting ground vehicles/ground scenery that I find difficult). thanks for any info

Hello; I have an ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard (AM4 socket) currently with a Ryzen7 1700X processor... possibly thinking about putting in another AM4 socket processor - something like a Ryzen 9 5950X or similar, hoping it will be just a straight swap although I will also put in a water cooler AIO type arrangement as machine gets hot when playing DCS. Is it as simple as swapping an AM4 for an AM4 -socket CPU? And will I notice any difference playing DCS with a better CPU? thanks for any advice

Having some issues with mission 6 Problem i'm running into is after making it to the al bab and shooting all targets surrounding the zone it tells you to engage an AA gun, after engaging the AA gun it gives you a congratulatory message and then afterwards there are no new enemies, no new messages via the radio and after flying around for like 30 minutes scanning for targets i ended up just flying back to the base. There is an F10 option to REARM at a FARP but the FARP control measure is not in the briefing or in the preset control measures. Perhaps there is a trigger at the FARP i'm unable to access/find or is it possible the FARP just does not exist at all? Anyhow i ended up just going RTB and drawing is there something i'm missing or is the mission currently broken?
