remove user mods and run dcs repair Missing Pylons for the Fuel Tanks
de_Lutz replied to de_Lutz's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I got it fixed. I removed the F-16C Files from the Core Mods Folder, did a repair run, now it works. Seems it was some leftover Files from the F-16I SUFA Mod doing this. Even the mod is currently disabled. -
Pour ma part j'aime beaucoup ces petits tremblements

@Temetre My MIG-21s are flying around 100% braindead. Nose up 15ish degrees 250-300km/h with full afterburner. Unable to fly a straight line while navigating and unable to climb higher than 6000m.

I'd be fine with different variants. I am thinking the variant we have is from 2003. So a storm bird would be awesome for the Germany map. It would be nice to see some French smart bombs and A2G missiles provided the data is available We really need to see the whole Harrier family. My thoughts. a Faulklands war era Sea Harrier Legacy Harrier- if the biggest differnce between the USMC and RAF variants is paint, then I don't care. With the Harrier II, the plus version is a must, I also think a British Harrier II variant would be nice as well which one I don't care as long as the differnce is more than just liveries Sinc the Mig-19 has been out of service for decades it might not be that big of a problem. The real issue is picking the variant. The biggest question here is how many systems does ED have the code for already? The only request I'd have is, please license Jester. If making the announcement results in RB's legal team popping up. The best outcome would be getting a multi-variant module because Rambam decides selling their code would be an easy out .

Aha maybe this is the problem. I will check it. Thank you for help.

Mission 3, scripting error crash
Reflected replied to ww3231's topic in DCS: P-51D Debden Eagles Campaign
OK, I found a script that was still there, but it was a hit detection script which is weird because the same works in MiG Killers jsut fine. I adapted it a little bit to be more bulletproof, I'll submit for the next update. -
Maybe something related with fog. There is a mod for HUD fonts that maybe worth a try.

waiting for resolution ED/RAZBAM Situation Info & Discussion
Esac_mirmidon replied to NineLine's topic in RAZBAM
Thats what i understand about " not implemented yet" Both, one side or the other didnt apply to the agreement "yet". Not taking sides here but the official statement says "We are still hoping to be able to implement the settlement agreement and to find a satisfactory outcome to the current situation, in the best interests of our valued community." So 8 months before we are here, still waiting. -
waiting for resolution ED/RAZBAM Situation Info & Discussion
Raven (Elysian Angel) replied to NineLine's topic in RAZBAM
Something to keep in mind is the Stop Killing Games proceedings and the legal ramifications that will have. Seems to me that individual modules also count and not just DCS in general. I’m aware that the legal procedure only just started, but the required amount of votes was reached in both the EU and UK and thus there *will* be legal consequences -

Yeah looks like it still guides even when there's nothing available to provide said guidance. If you set up your Rapier unit to only have the optical tracker or only have Blindfire (less realistic set up but is a viable way of forcing Blindfire guidance mode) if after the missile is fired the optical tracker/Blindfire is disabled/destroyed or is set to stop emitting. In the tracks below the missile remains in guided flight despite the optical tracker/Blindfire being disabled, destroyed or Blindfire set to stop transmitting. As mentioned above, Rapier is a command-guided system, requiring either the optical tracker or Blindfire to track the target and the missile - if neither are operational, the missile should stop being guided. As much as I unconditionally love Heatblur, they haven't found the Holy Grail yet. Let them finish what they've already started. As for the four modules? I don't think any other team can pick them up without also hiring the devs. Personally, I don't know the dynamics inside Razbam, but since the devs haven't been paid, maybe they sit on the code and can start a new team and make a deal directly with ED. Nah, that's far too much hoping. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

If you are start in cold and dark start chanege on DED laser training to combat. Maybe this? LIST > MISC > 5.Laser > A-G: CMBT.

Or ED allowed Razbam to release the F-15E so ED could take the money from their IP dispute claim. We will never know. In the end it was ED who allowed the sell of the F-15E after all.

Bailey's VoiceAttack Profiles (Added OH-58D Kiowa!)
Sunnny replied to Bailey's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi Bailey, I'm using your VoiceAttack profile for the F4 and like to thank you for this very useful addon. But I had a problem, when loading your file F-4E Pilot Keyboard.diff.lua into the Keyboard column of DCS: The Keyboard assignments for TACAN Channel (xx0x) - 1 to TACAN Channel (xx0x) - 9 were not loaded, as can be seen in attached picture. I think the reason was, that the strange looking ID's / GUID's (?) in the diff.lua files changed. When I did a "Save Profile" on the keyboard column and compared my saved profile with the profile you provided, I saw different ID's / GUID's (?) for above TACAN commands, e.g. d3002pnilunilcd48vd0.11111111111111vpnilvunil vs. d3002pnilunilcd48vd0.1vpnilvunil So it seems, that DCS and/or Heatblur modified these ID's / GUID's (?) after you uploaded your profile. I'm wondering, if you are able, to reproduce this on your PC and if this should be reported to DCS and/or Heatblur ? Thanks again for your profile and your efforts. Sunnny -
That sounds more like incorrect use

Never the less, it is so. From day one. I think I read about somewhere from a 2nd party that it's a design choice. Regardless, just try it yourself. Push the throttle all the way forward. The green light for 3 minutes of water injection left, never turns on. Press the enable water injection binding, you get extra knots of airspeed immediately (about 9 at sea level), and after a while, the green light does turn on. The two screenshots bellow are taken with water injection off and on respectively: null There is a jump in power, or at the very least, airspeed. Look at the images above

Yup, and it's also a trick to save space if you want to run multiple server instances. Just remember to shut them down pre update. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

I can confirm that landing on the Tarawa causes a crash, even when calling inbound.

Could be a number of things then. Maybe the instruments don't show the right values. Or it could be that the plane performance isn't directly "bound" to the pressure parameters. Might be a bug worth reporting on separately.

Yeah if it's true or not is another story. I could imagine that it's true but what if there is already an escrow with the money on it but the settlement is not yet implemented because RB still refuses to send the files? Could also be the other way around - they are willing to send the files but there is still no money. In my opinion this is the biggest problem and most exhausting part of all this. Both sides are claiming different things and except from the directly involved persons no one knows what really is true. On the one side there is RB and it seems these guys think the one screaming the loudest is the one who is right and on the other side there is ED - still acting professional and silent but suddenly had to admit on last friday that one of the "screams" of the other party is actually true.... In the meanwhile there are the customers with absolutely no clue about whats really happening and.... yes it's time again to take a break from reading this thread as i did before last friday's newsletter.....

Напомните, разве при создании маркпоинтов не должен автоматом выбираться SOI сенсор в маркпоинт-DED меню? Насколько помню, так было ранее. Сейчас вручную приходится перебирать.

Not sure were to post this, but is there any way to reduce the size of the EWR info window in the upper right of the screen? It takes up a lot of the screen and blocks your view. Thanks in advance
