This is incorrect. The block and tape of F-16 that is modeled in DCS indeed doesn't support SADL, but it supports full 9-line text messages and CAS IP/TGT steerpoints to be received via IDM.

Make sure you only installed the mod in the saved games folder directory. Also make sure that when you open the F-104 folder in the saved games directory, that there is not another F-104 folder in there. If you open the F-104 folder you should see multiple different folders and some files. The message you see is because you installed it wrong. But to figure out where you made a mistake, we need more infos. Can you attach a screenshot of your explorer with the mod and installation path?

Well, it's how many of the paid and included campaigns work. But you're right, it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Unless I'm missing something, this functionality could have been enabled if they'd provided a range of scores for a "draw" and not just 50. Even so, the tool would still remain tragically basic and inadequate, when it should've been so much more.

O.K. may be I didn't understood it well then. The whole idea of the Georgian Oil Wars campaign was that if you fail a mission than the enemy forces advancing so you can fail the whole campaign in the end. But if you win the mission then the allied forces advancing. The different missions for each stage are simulating the different situations of allied / enemy forces advantage. So each time you play the campaign it will be slightly different and each time you advance / fail the situation will be slightly different. To replay exact same mission is a little bit borring I guess. Anyway everyone want to implement his / her ideas as they want.

I haven't checked the campaign (yet), and I understand all of the above. What I would like is, that if you fail a mission, you stay in the same stage and get the same mission you just failed. Are you sure it does that? According to the manual, and my limited testing, that is incorrect. If you get 50 points (exactly) you stay in the same stage (what I want). If there is more than one mission, you could get any of them (what I don't: I would like the player to get the same mission they just failed). Thank you for replying. I don't believe it is (easily) possible using the Campaign Builder, and have decided to restructure my campaign in a different way.

"No Mig-21": not true, Mig-21PFM could do it, but clarification should be asked from Magnitude 3 if the other versions of Mig-21 in Yugoslav service had the modifications to carry it, especially since one of the SMEs is an active pilot and instructor on Mig-29 and the Mig-21 airplanes were taken out of the service few years ago. E.g. it's a well known fact that Yugoslavia modified their Mig-21s to level that it could use domestic IADS instead of soviet one, by replacing the DL components on receiving end. Mid 70s this was AS-74, and mid 80s AS-84. Once the GCI officer designates the target, the figher would receive updates automatically. Pre designation gives you correction for either wind or target movement. You do this by holding lock button, putting reticule on target, and releasing lock button. After 2 seconds The correction will have been computed once you place the reticule on the target a second time. It is better then say MiG-23, where it is required to keep reticule exactly on target for a few seconds. After releasing lock button laser ranges and builds mathematical model of where target should be if stationary/no wind in comparison to your speed height and movement. After two seconds the FCS assumes your reticule is on target and produces correction for that position. So when you place reticule a second time and fire, the proper movement/wind correction is calculated. One thing with this is that the calculation only lasts around 8-10 seconds, then you will need to do it again, and is only for that specific target. A stationary target in no wind requires no correction so no pre designate needed. Hmmm? Any MiG-21 with RP-21 radar could guide the missile. It was designed entirely for MiG-21. I think you will find the normal weapon aiming mode very precise. It will be very precise for bombs and gun, rockets will be more precise the faster you are.

It is possible. You should look on the SU-25T Georgian Oil Wars campaign. It comes with the DCS core game. It have a couple of missions for each stage. For example 4 different missions for stage 1, 4 different missions for stage 2 e.t.c.. When you success the mission you will be promoted to one of the next stage missions. If you are fail a mission you will go back to one of the previous stages missions. It set in the campaign manager that if you get 50 points or less for the mission it will roll you back to the previous stage. If you will do more than 50 points than you will be promoted to the next stage. Again, look into the Campaign manager and not into the Mission manager. You can open the SU-25T campaign and loook how it is implemented exactly. Because its a free campaign and you can do with it whatewer you want. You can even change it. The same campaign was redone for Ka-50. So you can also look into this campaign as well. But it is doesn't matter a lot. It is the same campaing but for different aircraft.

The runway is also not level; a significant difference in elevation is visible. The tower was located in a bunker near the runway and is not located to the south like it is today. The open shelters lack camouflage netting. And the grass along the runway could use a bit of mowing.

Коды от 1111 до 1788 условно описывают частоту повторения импульсов лазерного излучения. Длина волны - это другое и от кодов няз не зависит. У апч не лазерно-лучевое командное, а полуактивное наведение на отраженный сигнал. Х-25 по идее должно быть возможно наводить на лцу апача, но как-то надо понять куда направить ракету чтобы она увидела отраженный сигнал. Поиска лазерного пятна на Шквале няз нет.

No chance. Grom missile is not correct for MiG-21Bis either. No MiG-21 radar could guide that missile, as well as MiG-29. Their role is intercept, nothing to do with precision strike. Only conventional "dumb" ordinance.

Полетел бомбить оппонентов, в районе цели поставил ППМ, решил с помощью радара, найти цели и по ним отбомбить. При подлёте к целям (около 20 миль), а это достаточно большие здания, на радаре, при самом высоком его разрешении, видно только мешанину непонятно чего. В итоге по карте F10, "снял" координаты с цели(одного из зданий), по-быстрому забил стирпоинт в ICP и вопрос решил. Уважаемые вирпилы, подскажите пожалуйста, у F16 на самом деле такой ниочёмный радар по земле, или я чего-то не так делаю? Если так, то какой в нём смысл, зря только страницу на МФД занимает.

I still hold high hopes for the 900ft performance issue some of us have to be resolved. If that happens, it'll be very high on my list of maps I recommend.
