I do not have SSAO enabled. I can test with it on if you like. The only issue I'm having right now is that whenever I "Quit to Desktop" from the DCS menu, the game exits in VR but hangs on my desktop and never exits. This is a bit annoying as I have "Cursor confined to Window" enabled. The only way to get out of DCS from this state is to use SteamVR to "Quit VR" which shuts everthing down. It's no big deal if you're just playing, but quite the pain if you're testing and changing settings! Has anyone else seen this? -

не! царапины это фича. Сделаны они как раз классно. Проявляются при приломлениях света. Но вот грязь в определенный момент зачистили в ноль в т.ч и на ГС 3 самолетах.

If you still don't want any aircraft launched from Cat1 you have to put static aircraft in these spots. Depending on how many of aircraft you want it might be just 1 or 2 needed to do the job. Play with it. -
Hello Pluton, the difference is more internal memory of the headset. Long story short you can go for the 128 GB headset, because you cannot install DCS on the headset itself. You have to use it with a link cable or via wlan link. The question is, if you want to use your vr headset with other applications. Some VR games can be installed on the headset and you can use it without a PC. But only for DCS you would have no effect of more memory.

Okay. Jesus this will be the third time. I will try this. Although I think the problem is my CPU isn’t boosting. It’s getting to hot and throttling. It had a dramatic effect on temps with the 14900K. Like 8-10C drop. So I was hoping it would help with AMD. Will reapply thermal paste and see if that helps.

Rename your 'DCS' folder in 'Saved Games' to something other than "DCS" and see if you can reproduce the crash. You can launch DCS once and it will regenerate a new 'DCS' folder in 'Saved Games'. Exit DCS, copy and paste your old bindings into the new folder and try to fly as you wanted. Will need a quick reset of your graphics settings, but at least its faster than re binding everything for your Hotas. If it is fixed, it is something inside that 'DCS' folder such as mods or scripts. Realized your pagefile was enough through DxDiag. Make sure you've set a good amount of 20+gb on a fast drive. I don't know if DxDiag calculations are exact on pagefile sizes.

Jeesh. The devs request that you post a TRK file, when you come here and cite a bug. Doing so shows them exactly what the poster is referring to and provides them with all the accompanying parameters. If you care enough to come and post about a bug, just honor their request. -

Not a bug, but rather incomplete unit. Even among ED SAMs there are many examples of missing sensors. Examples include KUB, Neva, OSA, Tor, Hawk... Along sensors goes often wrong behavior. And if we are talking human controled units you quickly arrive at conclusion that further extensions of human machine interface is needed. I hope that wit CH inclusion Combined Arms will get more love from ED in future.

Mirage F1B/BE missing livery, worng number

Do you have the same issue as me with the EC1/30 not appearing on the F1B list? I tested in DCS with France as country, but also in the EDM, where all liveries should appears. Of course it's not a great issue as it works with the F1BE. -

I've had that before as well. Make sure you're putting the Anemo-switch on, as soon as you're started up, so it can start removing the ice. Seems like DCS wants to ice up your probes on startup really quick or it doesn't account for your probes being guarded. I have taken off with unreliable airspeed (same message) and the probe heater burned through the ice during climb. We were flying with a Mirage 2000 in the formation and he crashed on take-off, most probably because his probe was iced up as well and hence his FBW got all confused... -
there has indeed been a Transall mod so far, by @damienntrix as far as I can tell but it is the french NG version. Thanks for the tip. I'm using Open Mods Manager so I copied CoreMods/aircraft/FA-18C/DTC/ALR67/CMDS_defs.lua to my mods library (using the same relative path) and edited the file there to my liking and enabled that mod. Now after a cold start, if I go to MUMI and load the ALR67 I get that modified default configuration. No need to load a custom DTC for DCS UI after slotting in. Works just fine for me even if it's not entirely satisfying. I noticed that in CoreMods/aircraft/FA-18C/DTC/defaults there are multiple test.json files which might also be relevant but I have no idea how to use/tune them and anyway they're still in the main install path and not in Saved Games so it's not really more useful than tuning CMDS_defs.lua. It'd definitely be nice to be able to have a default configuration in saved games for users to tune. -

I'm happy a fix for loading times is in the works, but at the same time, I don't think HT On vs Off should be disregarded, if not as a direct cause to the issue, at least as something that might point to it. It's clear many users find that disabling HT helps with load times, both in these forums and the discord server. In my case, I made 12 runs, 6 with HT on and another 6 with HT off. The results are as follows: Desktop to launcher average of 37s with HT on vs. 13s with HT off. Launcher to menu average of 85s with HT on vs. 41s with HT off. I don't think it makes much sense to assume as normal behavior that disabling HT cuts loading times by more than half compared to HT enabled. I really think this should be looked at by the developers as it may point to a possible issue with Intel CPUs. I'm running DCS on a 14900k, btw. dcs-hton.log.zip dcs-htoff.log.zip -

Correct, missing many countries here: ToDo: To add Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Neederlands, Neutral, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Yugoslavia Partisan Ships, Aircrafts, SAMs, AAA, Weapons, Electronic and others equipment from WW2. Wait to add Nato/other countries stuff -
The PG-16V is already implemented and can be seen being fired by "Paratrooper RPG-16". The Mk 46 appears to be from the South Atlantic assets (the exact same model is present in that directory too, with its inaccuracies - like the nose that's the wrong shape and the rear-most propeller that's a lot smaller than it should be).
