  1. Новость сказал... У меня диск давно уже лежит на полке, игра грузится с образов. Причем, как только купил, сразу расшарил в интернете. А бедные балабаи в интернете никак анг. версии все найти не могут. P.S. Уточняю! Бедные - это не те люди, у кого денег мало, а те, которых жалко... такая у них жизнь к сожалению. Балабаи - это не оскорбление, просто они любят языками молоть, думая, что жизнь их прекрасна.

  2. First people here and there will claim this and that about ECM. Let me tell you a simple fact. No Pilot, Tech, Weps Designer or Developer will ever tell you how and why ECM really works. In most sectors this is highly Classified all they way up to Magic. Nor will you be given any definitive tactical information that you can take to the bank. People will say this is right or wrong... ban you from their game because they can't win using their pet tactic that they "feel" is realistic... when in fact it has nothing to do with reality. Most people just want to win their dogfights and claim they know something when they don’t know any more then anyone else. They just set the rules for their severs and so one… and that’s fair… it is their sever… ECM and ECCM information is a life and death kind of thing. So a game will not rise to the standard in its implementation of ECM and ECCM. For a game... ECM On or ECM Off will lower a game missile's chance of hitting you by looking up a PK value in a database. Same is true for detection. Changing the default Probability of Kill number and reducing it by some factor either statically or dynamically, using some other factors decided by the game developers... So tactically regarding how you would use ECM in Lock on…. It all depends. Lock on as well as some other games work pretty well using some for of real world tactics. With that said… when you become Fenced in… ECM On / Radar On is very proper.. People seem to have this idea that you are giving away your location when you turn on your ECM. That’s silly. There is no hiding in a Radar environment if you are at altitude! If you are pressing into a Radar environment. They know you are there already. So your best tactic is to deny the radar data on your true posit. And use your Radar to see what’s out there… this will help give you a picture and you can develop your tactic.. If you are flying as a singleton you have a different MO then you would have flying in a multiship. So yes… sure you will show up on a display somewhere… but in most cases your data tag will be useless to the person looking at it. So in Lock on Falcon and most other games… Flying with ECM on is a very proper tactic. In a multi-ship flight ECM can even be used to draw attention away from a shooter or your strikers in your package. Regarding Home on Jam Countermeasures… It’s very proper to pulse your counter measures. That’s a great simulation of real world activity. In Lock On you can not program or mode select how ECM will respond to the threat in the game. It’s either on or off. People read declassified info on how the Russian and American ECM should work and handcuff the player by saying that the ECM is on and doing all the mode switch automatically so no strobing allowed on sever X because that cheating… That’s more then likely BS! As was stated above… Most games are reading from a database from hit probability data. ECM is just a logic switch. (Not a Lock on developer not sure of its implementation.) On my Stick setup I have a Countermeasures mode that will pulse the ECM 3 times in 3 sec burst then deploy 2 Chaff 5 milliseconds sep 3 sec pause (giving the jet time to be in a new location and attitude ) 5 more ECM pulses on and off and ending with another Chaff burst. This simulates a Counter measures preset. It works really well. Remember most people don’t fly or build very realistic missions… they think they do but they don’t use AWACS, they Don’t use Ground Radio EW sites… and so on. They put very unrealistic handicaps in their mission for what ever reason they want. But don’t let that limit how you use the tools in the game. Words like Strobing and Missile spamming are just code words that people use to blur the fact that they don’t like losing a game that they feel they have mastered. Multiple missile firing and ECM cycling are part of what goes on in real air combat. New tactics are developed to deal with new and old threats. Do you think at War College an instructor will say, hey guys don’t do XYZ because our adversaries don’t know how to defeat it… And we want to keep our Air War fair…. Some people want to fly a jet sim like a World War 2 sim… that’s where the problems starts… I hope that helps.   4. I'm no fan of the F-22. There's just something "wrong" about the way it looks (and not in an impressively alien, B-2 kind of way). It looks like an F-15 that's been on Pimp My Ride.   5. Основные способы эффективного (тактика настоящих "Колянов") ведения боя онлайн: 1. Перманентное включение-выключение РЭБ немедленно после отрыва от ВПП. 1.1. Иногда можно просто включить РЭБ сразу после выруливания на ВПП, но нынче это моветон т.к. есть п. 1. 2. Как только удалось взять противника в захват, нужно немедленно отключить блокировку пуска вооружения (Alt+W) и подготовиться к пуску Р-27(Э)Т. 2.1. По достижении дальности пуска по неманеврирующей цели немедленно выпустить имеющиеся на борту (п.2.) ракеты. 3. В случае обнаружения по вам пуска следующими способами: визуально - по наличию дымного следа, аппаратно - по сигналу СПО "Берёза" - немедленно начать нажимать клавишу PrntScr, дабы потом в спокойной обстановке была возможность насладиться зрелищем, как "глупая" ракета пролетает мимо. 3.1. Если по вам пущена ракета с АРГСН что можно определить по характерному обнулению шкалы СПО "Берёза" с последующим нарастанием шкалы вплоть до её полного заполнения. так вот высшим пилотажем является дождаться приближения шкалы до предпоследних двух после чего одновременно с резким отворотом на 90 гр. по азимуту сделать серию из 10 скриншотов, которые к тому же можно впоследствие вывесить на форуме в теме "пацаны, смАтри как я умею". Со временем, когда мастерство достигнет нужной кондиции можно сокращать серию и только настоящие асы среди вирпилов способны сделать один но максимально эффективный скриншот. (опытные вирпилы комбинируют отстрел ловушек и PrntScr на одной клавише - можно сделать в меню настройки клавиш) 3.2. Ещё одна из лучших тактик доступная только подлинным асам из асов состоит в следующем, после захвата цели и сближения с ней на дистанцию пуска УР выпускаются все имеющиеся на подвесках ракеты после чего делается энергичный разворот на 180 гр. на полном форсаже с последующим доворотом на "свою" ВПП - лучшим из лучших удаётся посадить самолёт до того, как выпущенные ракеты собьют всю надвигавшуюся вражескую армаду. 4. Ещё один способ борьбы в воздухе был изобретён японскими вирпилами, чьи дальние родственники были в отрядах камикадзе. Суть тактики заключается в следующем после действий согласно п. 3.2. вместо отворота на 180 гр. выполняется обратная полупетля со спрямлением траектории при тангаже в 90 гр. преимущество данного способа в том что ни одному вирпилу не удастся опорочить вашу честь путём сбития вас то есть вы будете непобедимы как терминатор, так же этот древнеяпонский способ ведения боя очень эффективен если не помогли вышеизложенные способы ведения воздушного боя. 5. Настоящие пайлоты никогда не пользуются радаром, потому что на наших самолётах есть ОЛС а на американских ракетам радар вообще не нужен, и пусть плачут те несчатстные одноцветники которые помешали вам уничтожить врага, встав на пути вашей ракеты.

  7. I'm gonna raise the bovine fecal matter flag on this one - there is no way FOUR F-16s couldn't acquire a MIG-29 before getting into the 35 km range of its R-27R missiles. Unfortunately, there was nothing "real life" about your example. Next time, check to make sure your sources are correct please. Saves my time and yours. How do you improve Lock On without making it more realistic - i.e. more like real life? How can you make a simulation better without applying real life concepts? ED doesn't have the money, time, or the resources to model every ECM technique and every ECCM counter-technique. Thus, they "approximated" ECM vs. ECCM warfare with a very basic model that wasn't designed to handle actual ECM/ECCM techniques. Like in real life, the pilot in LOMAC is only supposed to switch the ECM "on" - from that point, the computers take over, employing the various ECM techniques, such as strobing, to confuse enemy radars. The only control the pilot has over his ECM is flipping it "On." Then everything else is automatic. In LOMAC, this is all approximated. The sim, however, doesn't model ACTUAL ECM/ECCM techniques - it would take way too much time and money to do so - but this is made up for because enemy radars are still "confused" - you get an AOJ lock instead of a SST lock, for example. By hitting the "E" key, you are basically flipping the "ECM" switch on as the Lock On pilot. You're not supposed to manually strobe your jammers, because IRL, the pilot doesn't manually flip his ECM switch on and off. In fact, if he did, chances are he'll screw up the pre-programmed jamming techniques his F-15 or MiG is trying to employ, and dramatically DECREASE the effectiveness of his ECM. But since ED obviously don't have infinite time or money, this issue of manually strobing your ECM was overlooked, and players can use this as an exploit (hopefully it'll be patched). And since it was overlooked, there is no ECCM to your "manual" ECM - there is no ECCM/HOJ/AOJ counter, which is again unrealistic. So fine, whatever, it's your money and your game, but don't expect not to take some flak for it when you hop onto multiplayer and start pissing other people off. IMO, if you don't want to be shot at beyond the 13-mile magic burn-through range, you shouldn't be playing LOMAC. Realistically, I'm pretty sure the ONLY aircraft that can deny their enemy a radar lock from this range are the F-117, B-2 and F-22. Last time I checked, none of these planes were flyable.

  9. Чот я не очень понимаю, какие претензии к ФМ ила? Хорошая ФМ, лучше имхо только у Су-25 в ГС, а «СФМ» послабее будет. В Фальконе сильно сомневаюсь, что «реалистичнее». 2 op001 Мануал, мануал…ну и что? Если я тебе вот дам мануал Ила в котором будет написано, что реализация авионики и управление ВМГ в нем самое реалистичное в мире, то я сразу «победил» чтоль? Не хочу обижать разрабов Фалькона, но я лично сильно сомневаюсь в реализме многих вещей в их симе. Фалькон интересен в плане подхода к реализации и во многих вещах, несомненно, впереди, но не стоит делать из него кумира. Когда начинал летать в Ил-2 – казалось все мега реалистично и вот она «история». Потом становиться понятно, что это всего лишь попытка воссоздать. Многое упрощено и даже не верно, причем такие вещи, которые очень важны и принципиально влияют на всю игру. А их нет… Также и с ЛО, и с Фальконом, и с любым другим авиасимом. Зы По поводу того, что в ЛО можно,а в Фальконе нельзя…это все вопрос реализации АИ. Тут надо сравнивать в онлайне. ps Надеюсь никого не утомил :)

  12. Не нужно апеллировать к высоким материям для решения простого вопроса. И к "населению Земли" тоже. Купив законно ПО, установив его ты автоматически соглашаешься с условиями распространения и использования. Не согласен - снеси. Дизассемблирование, ломки-крякалки тоже подпадают под условия использования. Оно конечно, революционером быть приятнее и почетнее, этакие благородные Робин Гуды от информационых технологий. Богатых, мол, мы грабим. Дураком надо быть, чтобы грабить бедных! А про свободу ВСЯКОЙ информации - спой эту песню парням из ФСО, когда попросишь у них номер личного мобильника жены президента.

  13. неа, не угадал. на ЦРТ телевизорах - черезстрочное, на ЦРТ мониторах - прогрессивное сканирование. а мерцание на ЦРТ сильнее утомляет потому что время "послесвечения" меньше, чем на ЛЦД, то есть экран успевает почернеть, пока его луч снова обновит и глаз это замечает.

  14. I'll take a guess here and say you shouldn't have a problem. When I was learning how to create slots I screwed things up pretty bad and the slot I was messing with somehow changed to an Israeli Eagle skin because my entries in the .xml file were wrong, so if you mean by "screwed up" the mission wont work then I think they will work but some skins might be a little odd. Have you tried it yet?? If the mission loads then it should work but you could always change the F15 skins in the mission or campaign to what ever F15 skins you have left before you start to play them and that should solve any problems you may have. I would alway suggest though that you not remove the slots but rather change the Name and add your own Skin to any slot you wont be using. That way most of the work is done for you and anyone else, online , using the offending skin would then have the new skin you replaced it with. Sections 5 and 6 in my tut cover this.

  25. Oups! Sorry B.R.D... I just made a quick experiment: Albatros, Rezky and Perry all DO fire their artillery at ground targets... They take a while before they start... I just had to be more patient... It was a while back when I did those experiments... They do have some turret angle limitations though : for example the Rezky will fire with both turrets located at the back, therefore if the targets are close to the front of the boat, they wont fire... Unfortunatly, the ground units and ships dont have travelling AI routines to make them move into better firing positions... It IS a flight sim after all... We do get quite a lot of side bonuses... JEFX

  26. Civilian ships are :- Elnya Ivanov Yakushev Zvezdny Just add them in the Mission Editor using the ADD NEW NAVAL GROUP button on the left side of the screen. Civilian traffic option does not affect the ships. Civilian traffic ON/OFF will add in the moving vehicles (cars,trucks) on the roads and moving trains on the railways. It has an FPS hit, depends on your rig whether it will bother you. The moving trains look cool - a guy called Birdy_666th did a timetable so you can find where they are.... http://666th.co.uk/downloads/index.php (near the bottom of the page - file is called LOFC_trains_time-table.xls) The civilian road traffic is very sparse as there are tons of roads in the Lockon map and having a realistic density of traffic would bring any system to its knees, so you won't see many cars out there.

  27. Then use the encyclopedia that’s on the top of the mission editor to get an idea what the objects look like in 3D. It’s the one that looks like a book. Once you get an idea, just close it and you will be back in your mission editor.

Some folks have a problem with campaigns in v1.02, some folks have fixed it using the following...... http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/38610606/m/5631079915?r=3341044025#3341044025 If this doesn't fix it for you then the other alternative is to use the Mission editor to declassify the campaign then you can fly any mission in any order you want and thus move on whether or not you have successfully flown the preceding mission. Go into Mission Editor, upper left of screen click on the open button, bottom right TYPE OF FILE select CAMPAIGN, navigate the folder structure to the campaign you want and select it. Bottom right click on MAP. Now you will see the 1st mission of your campaign. Now you can "cheat" and overwrite the campaign password with your own. Use keystrokes rather than the menu to do this cheat. Press "ctrl shift C" then type in a new password of your own choice e.g. suntrace1. Now press "ctrl shift D" and enter your password suntrace1 Now all the missions in the campaign should appear on the right hand side of the screen and you can select the mission you want.

  29. That's because you're thinking about it backwards. If we switched to metric we'd be talking about our 4L of beer (1.056688 gal.) and .6kg (21.16435 oz) of steak. That's what I've always found curious about our past attempts to adopt the metric standard. We didn't want, for example, to accrue the cost of moving road signs. So instead of moving the sign to read an even number of kilometers (eg 10km, 6.21 miles) to the next exit, we kept the sign where it was and made the metric measurement a decimal (eg 6 miles, 9.66km).
