  1. I'm a bit curious on how the forum.lockon.ru rep system works. Do you need something like 5-10 rep sent to you to get one extra below your avatar? Perhaps it requires a few reps sent for one post? //Yoda :)

  2. We can have a rep war, whoever reps me, I'll rep you back lol

  3. You get rep points back in the amount that the person has. I just repped SFK. If he returns it- that's +11 for me. The number of posts affects it as well.

  4. Send me rep ten times and I'll tell you what happens!! :music_whistling::smilewink:

  5. The rep number gets bumped for every 500 posts. Plus, some rep is bestowed by the admins of the forum to mods and testers. Plus, for every 100 points of accumulated rep, you get bumped up a notch.

  7. I noticed on Hypperlobby there's this huge war between 25T and A10 pilots. I reckon it's because 25T has an AFM and it's a real pig to fly whilst A10 feels like those space Wing Commander fighters. I can only imagine poor Froggers wrestling with their Ts to get to the target area, and once they get to the target area they wrestle with pointing the plane towards the target and once they do that, someone fires at them be it from ground or air and then they have to use all their muscles to make a 180 turn without crashing their noses into ground. Flying low for them is even more of a b*tch: they look like those paper ships going up and down, up and down all the way. When they're about the land, completely exausted, they struggle hard and if they blow only one tire, they call it a picture perfect landing. It usually takes them 40 km straight line to line up with runway and set the speed and altitude right. In the meantime, A10 pilots have like 25500 score on the score sheet with 176 units destroyed, 25 ships sinked and everything. They do a a short overhead pattern and land like those BattleStar Galactica fighters on a short approach. So, what do u guys think, what would be the worst punishment for an A10 pilot? AFM? :D

  9. I don't know exactly how it works. I know I got these by privately contacting forum members and making donations to their Paypal accounts. Bit costy though but hey, i'm already at the number 3!

  10. Your server consistently causes my game to freeze up and crash. I'd hate to believe an AMD 4600 X2 qualifies for not up to snuff system specs to run on the server. While during the two redflag flights I have participated in I encountered no such problems.

  14. I knew I'd seen it somewhere before: http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=66101&postcount=90 And of course, completely blocked your response from my memory: http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=66121&postcount=92 :smartass: From this thread: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=7916&highlight=rep+moderators Back when people were in better spirits and we had some fun here. (And missiles were... dangerous.)

  17. I haven't used a C2D, but I just got a Q6600 and it is godly compared to my old AMD 3000+. I can't imagine how a C2D could perform noticeably better that my Q6600.

  18. hi guys, well i don´t know if it will take 3-4 years i hope not, or let us say it that way, it will defenetly not take that long, because i would like to finish the work at some point of time. this is what i have done today, and it did not take long though. interesting will be the cockpit, but i have nice and good help with that thanks to tomcatz experiments. here the screenshots: http://www.spongedpics.com/upload/WP1187027920W46c09bd007d12-SR7111.jpg http://www.spongedpics.com/upload/WE1187027967W46c09bff75c63-Unbenannt13.jpg

  19. That sounds right. I believe it's next in line down the coast from Anapa. If you are taking off (with no wind) you will have water behind you, on your right, and in front of you. There's a hill to your left and a city in your left front quadrant. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't fire up the sim to check the name. Rich

  21. There is some birds I've made: They're animated and estimated number of 10.000, 34 polys each. The idea behind this is: well it's there, although still on it's early stage and it works with the port-crane animation (30 seconds of realistic cycle) which I had to remodel to avoid replacement of the object, so what I wonted to do was to scatter them in small groups of 10 and retain it's visibility and collisions with birds are possible as well which I haven't done yet due to it's early stage. Next thing to mention is some thing about lights on the hangar and other stuff if only Chiz and/or other guys would kindly show us how it's done. And so far i figured how to make a light source to be visible but to illuminate an area it seems to be another matter. I just wont to add to this saying that any help is appreciated for the sake of fun amen!

  25. Look man, this aint IL2, Ed had to work real hard to include the new aircraft as every aspec of the avionics had to be modeled.. This plane is about 100 % harder to do then say a ME-109... All of the radar and weapons systems had to be represented in advanced flight dynamics ... This was a great undertakeing and the first of its kind.. It set the standard for every other flight sim to follow... Minor??? Hardley... Blaze

  27. In WWII downing a bomber was way more important then downing a fighter simply because a bomber can attack your territory, destroy buildings, kills many people on the ground.. and so on. Disregarding this as "not important" or "unworthy" a kill is not correct... especially if you manage to down a strike aircraft while being in danger yourself from enemy fighters. If you have enemy trying to eliminate your SAM defenses... and you defend from it... I don't know how you can call that not worthy. and don't forget you start implying so many rules to something what should be fun and enjoyable I think will end up making your server reduce its numbers... or how you put it... "popularity" oh and... your server aint "all that" and by the way... I'll say this out loud and I can get banned if they chose so... but last (and lsat) time I flew on this server, when I was shot down and situation was 1 vs 3 and I asked to make sides even (as Blue was way outnumbered) you and your gruop told me to take it and if I want an easy server I should go somewhere else. In RF3 yuo complained about how things were harder for the RedFor and how it wasn't fair... where actually RedFor lost masively because of planning... which reminds me... was your work. So you lost big time fair and square which proves playing on your own gruond (map), on your own server, with good number advantage and scoring a kill where after you expect/demand the person being shot to say "Good Kill" ... does not make you on top of the list as being the best out there... which pretty much everybody knows, is what you think of yourself. You make all these rules and want utter discupline from all to oblige to your rules... and quite frankly I regret giving you a REP for going in alone and doing well in RF3 because even when you fly good and all personal opinions are put to side (which is what I've done when I gave you that REP) you are arrogantly and sometimes a real p**ck... so there... enjoy your server, I hope you get many many fighter kills.
