Beta version of the patch is available for for a while.

Yoda and GG are not only saying that the missiles are porked, but that the game it self is porked when it comes to drag and gravity and a lot of other factors as well. A whole rewrite of that code is needed to solve this problem as not only these missiles are affected (but maybe more then certain others). And for the record, I never questioned that the Aim9 or Aim120 was porked, only how much.

Ever since video cards with DirectX 10 suport came out, the full shadows in LockOn no longer works... so use All Planar instead... it's same with ATI cards also, not just nVidia.

i know its too much to ask but i would love to see ground crew working on BS or up coming A-10 when we give them orders to refuel or reload weapons based on realistic timing... since you guys have given us such a great, detailed simulation one would like it to be more realistic... i know it would deviate from the main purpose of the game but one can always enable/disable that feature if it is provided... like turning on the tip lights should mean something to me that i have to look around if the area is cleared before i turn off the rotor brakes... its a little far fetched but can be possible... "click YES if you think it would make a difference" would like some feedback on this as well...

As you know TrackIR5 is on its but yesterday NaturalPoint released new software update: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06-support/support-download-software-and-manuals.html

So I have cleaned out a room just for my pit. I plan on installing 2 projectors for a panoramic/curved view but for now I am stuch with a 22" game and a 19" other things. I prefer not to use a second screan for BS. in my pit I have 72 working switches connected to a KE72 keyboard emulator (PS2connector) and it works flawless. I have many other things that I want to do but for now this works. I am starting a new project converting a 8.4" TFT (desined to work in a car GPS) It has a DVI2 plug that caires the USB,VGA and AV1-3 Channels. I will convert ths TFT to go in the place of the PVI-800 using TB I will have alot more use of my pit. Here are pics of the pit in the room. still cleaning up a bit.

nice... awesome.. i get 100 fps now on everything maxed out except water.. i am so loving these Air to Air missiles..

I think they should focus on making things work better for the 90% of us who do not use a Crossfire/SLI setup first, and think about Crossfire/SLI when that becomes rather common-place.

What are you going on about? ;) The same shadows problem exists with Windows XP as it does in Vista (which is native DX9 and has no DX10 features whatsoever) the trouble lies in the hardware/shaders, not the DirectX software. That however is fixable, i take it you've never tried TekaTeka's Coastline mod? get it here

Сейчас глянул скриншоты на АГ.РУ. Из вкусностей заметил кафельную плитку (а не впп), пластилиновые дома (кусочек пластита в 9 роте выглядел лучше:D), размазанные текстуры земли и неправильные тени от облаков.

Я вам сейчас дам ссылку на очень полезный ресурс. http://maps.live.com/ На этом сайте с картами вверху можно выбрать режим Bird's eye (это съемка с самолета, причем один и тот же участок с четырех сторон снят). Но этот режим покрывает только некоторые участки поверхности и в основном в США. Хотя если вам нужны деревья и кусты, то могу вас заверить что там они выглядят также :-) Я в основном использую ландшафт, который находится в районе Сан-Франциско. А какие регионы еще покрыты, я не знаю.

Подтверждаю залипание хатки, у меня тоже самое (джой logitech extreme 3dpro). В игру не играю по этой причине, т.к. наводить ракеты нереально с этим залипанием. Жду исправления в патче. Если патч не исправит этот явный баг (в других играх нет подобного), то игра так и будет лежать на полке. Менять новый джойстик ради одной игры нет желания.

hey thanks erdem, but i dont think thats the video he was talking about, at least i hope not. You tube says the vid that you linked to above, was posted on the 27th, and the other teaser vid was posted on the 29th, and thats the one that says the full reveal will be posted april 30th. Maybe im misunderstanding. anyway yeah, I agree, im not in any hurry to upgrade to track ir 5. I will probably take advantage of the new software though. Im still surprised that they didnt improve the design of the track clip pro, in my opinion that device needs a major design overhaul. They should make it run on lithium batteries or something, I dont even use mine because i dont like having those extra wires attached to my face. I guess im just funny that way. Am I crazy, or is it a major blunder to have those extra wires hogging up an extra usb port, just to power those led's? Curious what you guys think, because I was really dissapointed when I got mine and realized that it was a wired set up. I just use the vector clip.

Понятно все с вами, но команду ED искренне жаль. Акула получилась здорово, но коммерческим успехом по сравнению с ЛО она вряд ли порадует. На мой и не только взгляд, вы зря обрезали самолеты. Конечно, так мало кто бы попробывал акулу, но игра бы продолжила поэтапное развитие вместо старта с чистого листа. А уровень реализма - акула рулит, хотелось бы и в самолетах. В сети миссии сделанные под реал (ависибирь, например) в реализации ЛА разных типов впечатлит, а там каждому свое.

Сэры, а вам не пришло в голову(ы), что он переводчиком пользуется? И с каких пор в Испании английский стал родным?
