  3. Соглашусь с СтепанСтепанычем. Очень хотелось бы видеть в будущем отказы: -редукторов, пожар в отсеках двигателей, редуктора, ВСУ. -отказы указателей скорости, барометрической высоты, курсовой системы, ДИСС, радиовысотомера, АРК и другие отказы, которые есть в разделе "Особые случаи в полете" инструкции экипажу( например вертолета МИ-24). АБРИС, кстати, тоже может отказать. А так хочется сделать тренировочную миссию по особым случаям в полете:music_whistling:. А в данный момент кроме отказов двигателей, гидросистем и автопилота нет ничего:(

  4. Очень жаль, что не планируется увеличивать номенклатуру принудительных отказов. Почему бы не организовать скачек напряжения (генератор там коротнуло или блок какой вынут для замены или ремонта) с отключением некоторых "второстепенных" систем типа АБРИСа. Кстати, в игре многие системы вырубаются после огневого и не очень воздействия. В целях обучения и внесения разнообразия в составление миссий хочется увидеть больше видов отказов. А самое главное, появится смысл (и соответственно интерес) проводить предполетный осмотр. Столько сил и души вложено в моделирование всех систем. Жаль, что контроль их работы не используется на все 100%. С уважением, СтепанСтепаныч!

  5. Hello to all community! I'm proud to present you BSVP (Black Shark Virtual Panel) software. This software is allow you to visualize main analogue gauges of Black Shark simulator on separate monitor or even on networked PC (Notebook or Netbook). Like old LOVP, BSVP allow you to configure gauge panel in any way you want. By default - realistic placement included. BSVP was made in 3D engine Quest3D, all gauges are rendered in 3D. ADI cylinder now have proper form, gauges are smooth and clean. Hallo ladies and gents, Many moons ago I whipped up this small and simple test mission with 4 Mi-24s attacking a lightly defended airfield to check out a couple of things concerning the AI and its conduct in this fine simulator. Ran it again just now and noticed something weird happening: This fellow was hit, and consequently executed a flawless forced landing. Nothing wrong with that, and excellent pilotage all around IMHO - it's just that he's floating in thin air with his engines stopped thinking he's safely back down! A real Wile E. Coyote, this guy :D The AF in question is Adler-Moldovka and there're no human-controlled units in the mission, just AI. Any ideas as to what might cause this strange behaviour? PS. I've no idea if this is reproducible. The game, however, is patched up to v1.01.

  7. Hi Guys, This is the first time in my 2 year active service with the 104th Phoenix VFBS that this has ever happened! There where so many people in the Teamspeak Server no one else could enter. It was packed and it was ALL 104th members and we still had guys wanting to join it. If you think that was good. Wait until you see this screenie from Hyperlobby: 45 members in chat and most where either 104th or SE. Way to go guys. Hope we have more slots to let even more people on! S! :D

  8. возможно я что то пропустил, но у меня вопрос к разработчикам... исправят ли подобную ошибку: -на самолётах СУ-25, СУ-25Т В ПОЛЁТЕ В ВЫПУЩЕННОМ ПОЛОЖЕНИИ КОЛЕСО ПЕРЕДНЕЙ ОПОРЫ ПОВОРАЧИВАЕТСЯ, такого быть не должно т.к при отрыве ПОШ при помощи кулачкового мех. колесо устанавливается нейтрально и одновременно отключается МРК, управлять поворотом колеса ПОШ возможно ТОЛЬКО на земле и при ОБЖАТОЙ "стойке"...ДАННЫЙ ГЛЮК в игре сильно усложняет посадку при боковом ветре, т.к в разы увеличивается возможность "разуть" самолёт...

Rather, [LWin] + [Home] You need to Map your Saitek Throttle to the SIM Collective as per follows: Just go to your Options/Controls/Axis Commands and clear the Flight Control Collective Block. Then hit 'ADD' and move the throttle to and fro - Should automatically allocate 'JOY Z'.   13. On all types I have worked with as soon as the ejection handle is pulled all mission data and software is erased from the aircraft's mission systems. There is also a data erase switch in the cockpit of every UK & US fighter I've seen that the pilot can use should he be forced to land/crash land and security is not possible. Explosive ordnance only arms when it leaves the pylon anyway, so will remain in a safe (i.e. the fuse will not fire) state. Of course explosive ordnance could still detonate on impact with the ground regardless. Typically, if it was suspected any classified systems had remained intact after an aircraft had crashed in hostile territory either ground forces or a follow up air strike would be tasked to destroy any wreckage.

This is the procedure I did to add .cdds files to Lockon. 1: Open Modman 2: Click Mods Maker 3: Click the folder icon on the line where it says "Choose Addon File" 4: Go to the directory where your .cdds file is, select it and then click ok 5: Click the folder icon on the line "Choose Relative Install Folder" 6: Select /Lockon/Bazar/World 7: Click "Add To Package" 8: Add a name for your Mod, then click "Save as .RAR file" 9: Name packaged mod. (note where you save the file, I normally save mods in c:\modman\addons_fc) 10: Once saved, click "OK". 11: Open Modman and install the same way you would any other mod.

  16. Thanks Frazer. I opened the track and watched the trim indicator. What I did learn is that you are applying constant minute corrections to both the collective and cyclic. This made a big difference as I was using too much deadzone. I was also able to see how you transitioned. Once again, great display, well done.

  17. Да, но при переключателе в положении "0" - МРК работает как простой демпфер. Следовательно разворот от педалей включается летчиком после посадки, когда нужно свернуть с ВПП на РД или на малой скорости, когда не хватает руля направления для парирования разворачивающего момента...

  18. I second that recommendation. I've been in the IT industry a long time, and there are few applications I'd use in the 'magic tweak' class... but this is one that I do use before each flight. I also use their Advanced System Care. It performs almost the exact sequence of preventative maintenance that I choose to do once a week, but it does it in 1/10th the time that I could.

  19. So, if we read between all the "Im more technical than you" crap. This is how i understand it. So, in short - if you have XP then no, and if you have Vista or windows 7, then yes to a certain extent, but not a good as a game made for dual cores. Right?

  20. well I seem to get better performance in 1.0. after I patch it the game seems to calculate more or somthing its wierd, I get more stutter after I patch it to latest patch, I really want to hear what you have to say about that. lol just admit this sim has horible programming, phenom 2x4 955 oc@ 3.7 8 gig corsair 2x4890 crossfire X-Fi XtremeGamer sc

  22. А раз прочитал, где твои инфракрасные диоды АЛ-107Б?:) В магазин радиоэлектроники зайди, закажи такие, главное чтобы L-34 были, остальные буковки это цвет диода. Максимальный прямой ток, мА: 50 это Iled Прямое напряжение, В: 1.3 это Uled Если, что, главный параметр это видимый телесный угол.

  23. Прошел кампанию. Впечатления в целом хорошие, однако есть некоторые неприятные моменты, которые немного омрачают прохождение. Часть тут уже обсуждалась. -ВНИМАНИЕ-! Если Вы только начали проходить кампанию, не читайте это сообщение! Там спойлеры, вы можете испортить себе удовольствие от прохождения! 1. В миссии эвакуация, как уже сказали, вертолет Ми-8 глючит. Во-первых он не может подобрать коршуна из-за сильного бокового ветра, пришлось убрать ветер :( Во-вторых, он нарезает круги, однако триггер все равно не срабатывает, пришлось убрать триггер, на нахождение вертолета в области вообще. 2. В миссии зачистка. Во-первых, для срабатывания триггера на целеуказание по комендатуре нужно уничтожение нашего БТР. Но в первый раз случилось как-то так, что его не уничтожили! Поэтому после уничтожения МТЛБ у вокзала я не мог понять что делать, пока не убил вообще всех врагов. Пришлось заменить условие уничтожения БТРа, на уничтожение МТЛБ у вокзала. Во-вторых, по задумке вертолет должен стартовать с ВПП, но он появляется в воздухе! Также это влечет за собой выскакивание ошибки после завершения миссии, и ее не засчитывает. Проблема решилась установкой минутного запаздывания взлета ЯК-40 В-третьих было бы неплохо расширить зону триггера посадки. 3. Предпоследняя миссия, по атаке колонны. Тут глюков нет, просто замечание: этож каким надо быть терминатором, чтобы с имеющимся боезапасом уничтожить колонну, танки у комендатуры, и не дай бог еще БТРы? :) В брифинге было бы неплохо написать, что-то вроде: "если не хватит боеприпасов - дозарядиться.", а то еще и Рустам нагнетает: "Погоди! не приземляйся!...", как тут не приземляться, когда стрелять уже нечем? :) 4. В финальной миссии. Финальная миссия очень порадовала! Прям такая грустная атмосфера, удачное завершение. Но и тут вылезла проблема :( Несколько страниц назад LIGHT описывал эту проблему, там порешили, что это из-за пиратки. Но это не из-за пиратки! У меня на лицензионной версии вылез такой же глюк. Вообщем перед проигрыванием 3й музыкальной композиции DCS выдает ошибку, и выключается. Пришлось исключить 3ю композицию, и изменить время включения остальных. А так после исправления вполне играбельно. надо еще попробовать отрицательные фазы.

  25. It is possible to do crazy maneuvers with the shark but only if you know how. The magic answer, every time you make crazy maneuvers which stress the blades, drop down your collective and you will do fine in most cases.

V-sync Vertical synchronization is an option found in most systems, wherein the video card is prevented from doing anything visible to the display memory until after the monitor has finished its current refresh cycle. During the vertical blanking interval, the driver would order the video card to either rapidly copy the off-screen graphics area into the active display area (double buffering), or treat both memory areas as displayable, and simply switch back and forth between them (page flipping). When vertical synchronization is in use, the effective frame rate of the rendering engine will exactly equal the monitor's refresh rate, if it was higher. Although this feature normally results in improved video quality, it is not without trade-offs in some cases. When one wishes to benchmark a video card or rendering engine, it is generally implied that the hardware and software render the display as fast as possible, without regard to monitor's capabilities or the resultant video tearing. Otherwise, the monitor and video card will effectively throttle the benchmarking program, causing it to generate invalid results. Vertical synchronization can also lead to artifacts in video and movie presentations, as they are generally recorded at somewhat low frame rates (usually 24 to 30 FPS). When such a movie is played on a monitor set for a typical 60 Hz refresh rate, the video player will miss the monitor's deadline fairly frequently, in addition to the interceding frames being displayed at a slightly higher rate than they were intended for, resulting in an effect similar to judder. Video games, which have a wide variety of rendering engines, tend to benefit well from vertical synchronization, as a rendering engine is normally expected to build each frame in real time, based on whatever the engine's variables specify at the moment a frame is requested. Wiki It is the "judder" (stutter), to which I refer to ATI cards had a problem (at least the 4870x2, or its drivers of that era) in which Vsynch just did not work, whereas the nVidia cards (GTX285) does have vsynch working....

  31. I am filally finished testing the Rookie server :smartass: and will host tomorrow’s meeting on my server. The server is set up to manually change mission so we have loads of time to clear out the target areas :pilotfly: This time the server will be password protected and the only way to get the password is on Eddies Teamspeak. I hope this session will have more focus on teamwork in missions. Rookie pilots must meet up on Eddies Teamspeak (see the first post for the teamspeak info) at 2 PM EST (That's 1900Z or 1100 PST) on Sunday, the 31th of January. I will be flying as HiJack as usual :) and will be online on the rookie server some hours before the rookie meet-up. ®

  32. Oh, let me tell you a story about 32-bit... Once upon a time there was a kingdom where docile farmers lived. They were ruled by old king who had only one child, a blond princess full of life. People loved her, because she lover her father, was kind to older, playful with children and generous with those that lost all in market crash. She wanted to upgrade the kingdom to 64-bit, but the old king came from a long line of royalties that did not need fans to cool them down, in fact, they used only passive brass coolers on their crowns. It was a night, and the rain was about to settle, together with all the people that it helped to lull into a deserved sleep after hard working autumn day. Old king was sitting next to a big window from where he used to watch her daughter play when she was a child. Oh, it feels like it was only a yesterday. Now she was crossing the yard, not caring that her dress is falling into brownish puddles that were receiving their last drops, cos she heard her favorite GPU being restless without any apparent reason. Just as she was about to open the cover on big tower, with her USB vacuum cleaner in her hand, Moon came out of the clouds, and reflected its face in the many puddles that were surrounding her. She turned toward the Moon with smile her eyes closed, as she was facing the Sun and trying to soak its warmth, but the bright glare from the calm guardian was abruptly cut. On the big tower, there was a dragon! The legend was true! It was the the Effsee Too! He was just as in her nightmares, only more terrifying, because he was not moving at all, with only puffs of hot air coming from his nose thrills, tearing the cold air apart, while his wings moved very slowly, making a noise like when you tear a cellophane wrap apart. And the only thing she could see was his activation number. She knew that only 64-bit potion can save her castle from burning up, and she knew where to find one... To be continued early in 2010...

  33. В 4-ом есть проблема, многие жалуются на его ненадежность. Однажды он может сгореть. Причем, причина в изготовителе, таким его сделали - завышен ток, он перегревается и в итоге сгорает. Некоторые доделывают TrackIR, устанавливая радиатор на микросхему, отключают инфракрасные светодиоды на самом TrackIR'e, при этом требуется установить другие на рамке вместо отражателей. Когда у меня 1-й сгорел, я находил информацию об этом. Кстати, покупал в Comp2ru, до конца гарантии оставался 1 месяц (повезло), мне его заменили без проблем. После этого уже 2 года прошло, пока работает.

  35. I can understand ED needs to be cautious about release info as things do change... but honestly this is plain stupid...!!!!! So WTF does DCS mean? Digital Combat Series or Digital Combat Standalone? The whole point of DCS is to provide different HF aircraft (modules) all compatible in MP.. if this don't happen ED is shooting itself in the balls..

You may very well be right... but I hope not !! :( I don't know though... with the controller companies coming out with some serious products, one has to wonder if they have a little more to go on in *their* crystal balls. We had a long drought in the combat flight sim genre, but there appears to be a confluence of several factors that may keep things looking better for some time to come. - smarter companies that have the benefit of learning from other's mistakes in the past. - at least one company that has configured itself to leverage military/government contract work. - hardware that has outstripped the current programming utilization by a significant margin. (When the programmers start making fuller utilization of the multiple cores and GPU computing power, it's going to be a beautiful thing!) - an environment (the internet) and software tools that enable cooperative programming from disparate locations. You don't necessarily *have* to put all your programming aces in one office building anymore. Time will tell. Many things in business are cyclic, so that is to be expected. The overall trend remains to be seen.
