  3. The PVI-800 will not allow entry of any western longitude > 99° 59.9' . I assume that because there was no need to do so earlier, this bug has gone unnoticed. However, with the advent of NTTR there is a need to enter these coordinates. This is not just a 2.0 open alpha issue -- the bug is present in 1.2.16 too.   4. Im not sure if this is correct and its just me... i think it is a new thing since 1.5 but i would need to go back to 1.2 and check. basically now full rudder will bank and then continually roll the plane rather than yaw the plane. is this correct behavior for the f15c? i have no idea lol

  5. Hello All, Many of you have probably, like me seen the SLD slider button on the Saitek X55 throttle as being rather like tits on a bull. It only seems to work for every 2 press rather than each movement, so this makes it useless for the obvious control such as speedbrakes, well, no more, after much research and tinkering I have solved the issue (hopefully no one has beaten me to it!). 1: Open your Saitek profiler software and click on the little arrow beside the SLD control, then make sure you untick "Latched" 2: Click on the little arrow thingy again and select "New Advanced Command" 3: Set the in the window as follows, for example; for Shift B press and hold Shift, keep holding Shift while you press B, then release Shift first followed by B and the result will look like as follows: 4: Right click on the command window and select Quantize Time, leave the time at zero and press OK as shown below: 5: Do the same in the release command using the "Close Airbrake" command in this case it is Control and B, but just follow step 3 exactly and step 4 as shown below: 6 Check your commands with the "Test Profile" button. Switch it back and forth as shown below a few times just to make sure: Now your SLD button is fully functional. No thanks necessary. Im sorry about the MDF MIP, but im using this material to test everything, before making the final version. Its cheaper to work with.

  9. Yeah I have seen this a lot, but never made the connection to what triggers it. Its been around for a while and you won't get any targets while its gone. Since I have a button on my hotas for Radar ON/OFF I usually cycle that to fix it.

  15. Yes they did say that. It was ready and sent to ED for final testing in the new update coming for release to us all. You didn't read careful enough and you obviously don't understand the process this software goes through before it reaches us. No one lied to you. You made erroneous assumptions.

  19. Yeah, well. Sorry about that. But I think we said that giving a specific date was outside our control since it is ED who does the distribution and they are the ones who must accommodate the aircraft in their schedule. The aircraft has been ready since Monday, but ED requires that certain procedures be followed before authorizing the release. We delivered the, we hope, final version yesterday. But depending on release date, we may sneak a new one fixing small issues. At this time I am told it has been made available to ED's internal beta team for QA. ED told us that they will make the announcement sometime today. We don't even know the date.

It was a blast to read your article, as it was about the same for me, although I had all set up for a carreer in the GAF and even my grandfather took care of such career long before he died and I was still little. Back then I did not know that he had contacts the our air force command. For me it was not the medical that was the issue, for me it was the policy of our country, how they treaded the people at the frontline and orders were made, which I figured during my mendatory service. I always thought being a soldier would be different, but well, I also figured that only spec ops or Pilot would come into count. Today I do work in a different enviroment, which is also fun. But what you wrote about the sim, that go you going and was the top notch sim for you in your childhood reminded me of my top notch sim. For me it was Janes F15. I flew so many hours in that sim, boy, my mom sometimes did not get to see me for a whole day. When I cam home from school, after homework, I even sometimes told firends, that I do not have time for soccer cause there was a mission that I needed to fly. Reading your posting and memorising my own childhood, about all that flying and all the pilots that became friends when I was underage, people I admired and still admire today and remember well, makes me think of us flightsimmers being nerds of our own kind in a fancy enviroment that even inspired people to fly to moon and bejond. Thanks for posting it, and well, maybe some time soon we can make grownup boys happy again. But that is linked to some important factor that I try to solve in January, as christmas is here and the people in charge are on hollidays by now. I figured that the Tornado has a huge fanbase in Europe. I always concidered the Strike Eagle being my bird and supperior to the Tornado. But as an GAF general told me when I was 17, the Tornado slices through the thick, bumpy, low level air like a hot knife through butter and only the F111 would match that performance in the NATO stock.   24. Невада - это великолепно, это что -то особенного! А вот с ОР пока все сыро и неопределенно. "Товарищи кушайте борщ, борщ сегодня такой вкусный" "Борщ не сьедобен. Там болты и гайки!" Из кинофильма "Полосатый рейс" К чему это я? А к тому, что пока в ДКС Войсковая система ПВО - непригодна. Она ничего общего не имеет с реальностью. Это лучше всего проявилось в Неваде. Где присутствие ЗРК ВКВ С300ПС - просто нонсенс. А нормальных войсковых ЗРК С300В просто нет. Буки, которые находясь в войсковых порядках ТД должны получать информацию от армейских и корпусных бригадных ЗРК - тех же Буков и С300В от общего ПБУ Поляна-Д ничего неполучают! Нарушен сам алгоритм работы войсковой ПВО(ПРО). Буки вынуждены включать свои СОЦ в соприкосновении с противником а это гарантированные ХАРМы. Вместо норматива включать локатор наведения не более 1 мин, здесь нужно его держать включенным(красным) все время. Торы, чья основная ф-ция сбивать ХАРМы, причем сбивать в автоматическом режиме. ХАРМ - самая опасная цель и Тор должен реагировать мгновенно сбивая сразу пару. Торы должны защищать Буки и тунгуски от ХАРМ, чего они сами сделать не в состоянии. В общем пока в ОР все сыро и недоработано! Подождем годик, рано я решил заняться наземкой. Буду продолжать летать!

  25. Если применить зум... А что это такое с точки зрения реальности ? Разве если я прижмусь в жизни к стеклу я стану видеть дальше ? Нет не стану, так почему в игре я должен видеть то что при дефолтном зуме я не вижу ? моё мнение что функция зум имеет право на жизнь лишь для сглаживания огрех видимости в игре, не более того. Иначе её давно было бы пора снести

  26. This I think is the bit where you come across as demanding, and I can see why you were jumped on for it. I am a native English speaker too. The thing is, the release will be a Beta, and so even if no real world pilot would be unleashed on a new airframe without intensive conversion training, it can hardly be held up as a reason to expect any information whatsoever with a simulation, no matter how valid a point it may be. Emotions are impossible to convey in an internet posting, so wording that seems very innocent can be terribly badly interpreted, and that is exactly what happened here. If you want information, it is usual to simply ask the question, and not add any caveat regarding the reason why you ought to get an answer. People here are always keen to help out a fellow simmer. The simple truth is, that no one can say what documentation will be released, nor can they say at what point we'll see it, and unfortunately, particularly this close to release, emotions run high for whatever reason. I have always found that the best source of information regarding new airframes is the good old internet, and quite often, you'll see links on this forum long before you'll see a comprehensive manual and any other snippets of information packaged with a new module. I've not delved into the pilots manual for the M2000C yet, and I expect that will be the only reliable source for info for a while. It is a pity, but as always, the development of a product here tends to take years and not days, and that process is usually compressed, and we see an incomplete module released in beta form in order to get it out to the clamouring hordes as early as possible, and that inevitably means no manual in the short term, hence the reliance on the internet. Basically, you have a simple choice, buy now and accept the shortcomings as they go with the territory here, or wait until it is complete and then get the full "operational conversion" experience. The other thing you always need to do, and this forum is no worse than any other, is to grow a thick skin, and accept that you'll be getting AAA from sources outside the simulation too. Trust me when I say, it is easier to just ignore the snipes, or if they warrant it, refer them to a moderator. We all sit in our ivory towers, thinking we're demigods of the internet, meting out justice, and fighting for the weak, mainly because the person we are hurling insults at can't hurt us. Welcome to the new age ethics of cyberspace! Also, add the odd emoticon, it helps set the mood :thumbup: I'm sure when you both sit back, and take a breath, you'll both wonder why you decided to bite. And this post was written in a relaxed, non-confrontational mood - in case you are both wondering :music_whistling:

  27. Я отвечу. Я видел своими собственными глазами цифру 80. Помимо этого у меня есть фото и у меня есть видео, но выкладывать их на форуме я не могу в силу определенных причин. Да это и не нужно. Своим собственным глазам я пока доверяю, они меня пока что не подводят. Попытки убедить меня, что у меня была зрительная галлюцинация совершенно бессмысленны. Поэтому спор совершенно ни о чем. Я вполне допускаю, что на самолетах разных серий сделано по разному. У нас сделано по тем данным, которые есть в наличии у нас. Если у вас есть другие данные, вы можете их использовать когда будете делать свой собственный модуль Су-27. На этом вопрос считаю закрытым. Точка. Больше я к этой теме возвращаться не буду. Вы можете продолжать обсуждение, если больше нечем заняться, на здоровье.

  29. The Missile Warning System (MWS) cannot distinguish between enemy and friendly missiles or air launched missiles from ground launched missiles. As such, you may receive launch indications from both friendly and ground units. When a laser illumination on the aircraft is detected, an “L” is displayed along the azimuth the laser was detected. The symbol will continue to appear as long as the laser illumination is detected. Read page 410 of the A-10C Warthog flight manual :thumbup:

  30. Hi Everyone, Is the runway assignment for Creech going to be updated to include ATC ops for Runway 9/27? It looks like everytime I set up to start on the runway at Creech they start us on the short RPA (Remote Piloted Aircraft) runway. Thanks,

  32. This is really the kicker. I don't understand the secrecy of not sharing data regarding flight models and performance in sim games, at the very least for aircraft that are well beyond age. I could understand keeping that info under wraps for aircraft like the A-10, or the upcoming Hornet, but for prop planes flown in World War II, it's almost ridiculous. I think a lot of instances where people challenge Yo Yo's FM data because they lost in a fight would be nipped in the bud if access to that data was open. It is incredibly frustrating to try to bring what we think is a problem to the developer, demonstrate the alleged problem over and over, compare it to data that we find only to be told, "That's inconsistent with our data. Good luck."

Почти закончил грасс текстуры, ещё доделаю лесополосы полей и можно сказать с полями пока всё. Позже буду сами поля шлифовать, немного их запачкаю, а то слишком уж чистенькие. А пока по плану ЖД и футбольные поля в посёлках, поправлю цвет в городских кварталах ну и ещё кое чего по мелочи. И надеюсь на выходных обновлю здесь мод.

  35. i gotta admit that im quite feed up with aviodev and while im not trying to flame i think that all the support from the community distracts from the legal facts. I also think that Aviodev doesnt see the gravity off the (legal) situation cause off all those "its done when its done / quality takes its time ... posts". One year with nearly no progress is nowhere a expecatble / reasonable or acceptable delay and if the custumers would sue for refund it would certainly be the end off aviodev. first to show why the Beta status doesnt affect the missing cc version in my view - this is the official pricing copied from aviodevs post: C-101EB=19.99$ C-101CC=39.99$ AFM (C-101 EB)=FREE AFM (C-101 CC)=FREE TOTAL=59.99$ source. ------------------------------------------------------------------ http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=137881 ------------------------------------------------------------------ ( sry but i wouldnt wonder too much if this thread will disapper soon ) So 2/3 off my money went into nothing but promisses. Also i only bought the EB because it was bundled with the CC - to me the EB is an added value to the CC and not the other way around, which also is refelceted by its sale price. So even if the Eb was finished with all promissed features i only would have one third off what i payed for. One year off delay is not only unacceptable but ridicioluls. The CC isnt a unimplemented feature of the EB, its a module/product of its own. I spend 40$, waited a whole year and didnt recieve anything in exchange. It was stated that the cc would be released soon after the eb , but first the eb needs its major bugs fixed / features completed as the cc is based upon the eb. Thats okay as long as this takes some weeks, perhaps even few months, but u cant expected anyone to expected more than a year off waiting. As for Aviodevs internal problems im sorry - but even if your company burns down over night it doesnt change the fact that we gave u money and now u got to deliver or refund if u cant deliver - things happen. I recently lost a job because i got ill and had to stay in bed few days after starting at the job, but even after telling this to the cashier at the supermarket i still had to pay for my food - its a cruel world. U cant blame your custumers for your problems. Also the statement that the ccs systems turned out to be more complicated than they thought is odd - to mee it made it worse as it shows that the cc wasnt anywhere near to release when they started selling it. I realy doubt that the CCs systems to be more complicated than any other modules. I only can asume that aviodev lacks the needed competences/personal to finish the product. It all seems like they sold the cc without having anything - thinking once they got the eb theyll just strapp some bombs on it, tweak the model a bit and voila - finished CC. Now this turned out to be huge work and they have no idea how to finish it, but as long as money flows in they keep up the fassade - once sales drop and all the money is spend theyll say " sorry but we cant finish.." and turn insolvent - thats the standard kickstarter s*** - even if the get sued to refund, there will be no money left. I realy think its time for us customers to set an ultimatum and, iff theres no progress or atleast a statement on how this will be solved, start a class action lawsuit for refund. While its not my whish to destroy a potential source off new modules im feed up with game developers which seemingly are above the law - every other business treating theyr customers like this wouldnt survive a month. If apple would presell its new iphone for some weeks and then say, "ooops there will be a one year delay" people would not only sue apple but riot in the streets. If its a game dev people say " oh pour game dev, maybee ill get my game if i just give him more money" -wake up people- its a business, devs should know about this or atleast have the balls to clearly say whats the matter and find a way to solve the problem together with the communtiy/customers.

Very vaguely SiTh, he hasn't shown what numbers he's using or even explained what he thinks is wrong with Crumpp's data - let alone explained why the aircraft aren't even performing as his own charts indicate. He mentions prop efficiency but then he brings no figures forth. Next he mentions wing to weight ratio, and then aspect ratio, again though without making any real point. Meanwhile Crumpp has been going into great depth explaining his figures, providing original source material as he went. You must understand that this looks a little odd? I just don't want to be the reason this isn't looked into, thus if I'm the reason Yo Yo is disregarding this and other testers are prefered then I can accept that and will gladly step away. I know the results will be the same though, but if me stepping away will help get it corrected then I will gladly do so.

  38. So why do you buy them? Aviodev made no bones about the fact that they were releasing an incomplete module, and at no stage have they ever given a timeline for the full release, just like every other developer including Eagle dynamics themselves. Frankly your views are no more valid than the ones asking for the price increases - especially if you have paid out money on a Beta module. If you haven't paid out money then you are simply not entitled to a say. It takes as long as it takes, and no one ever forced any buyer to participate in Beta releases, it is as simple as that. If you don't like it, then go fly something else!

  39. 1. The radar is fixed. You cannot adjust the length nor make the radar cone smaller or bigger. All you can do is manipulate the radar cone in elevation and 30° left/right. 2. The radar can scan 60° up, 35°, and a total of 60° left/right 3. The expected range value does nothing to your radar cone/scan length. Again the radar cone is fixed! 4. The radar range (upper left on the HUD) just changes how information is displayed on the HUD. Set to 100km will display you bandits from 0-100km. The radar will still scan up to its full amount!!!. Again. The radar scan zone is fixed !!!! :) 5. The radar cone is 30° in width and 10° in height. Usually you will spot spot enemy F-15& Sus up to 120km range and aircraft with bigger RCS up to 180+km. Depends on the RCS of the plane though. 6. The radar needs some time (about 1-2sec) to scan an area. Or in other words you have to wait 1-2 sec before you will see any contacts displayed on the radar. 7. The radar has a 3 sec( I think its ~3) memory for bandits. So sometimes when u tilt your radar you will see contacts fade slightly and then regain solid after 1 sec. About finding targets. You basically have to use the right PRF setting and scan always up/down and left/right. Get some scan patterns going. For exmaple: up up down down down down left up up up up right down down down down right up up up up left down down....etc... Of course the ups/downs depends on your altitude and expected range setting. You might not always have to scan down or up that much.

This JSGME-mod contains: Multi Monitor-File for A-10C and Ka-50 (other modules included, but untested) to be used with two 1920x1080 monitors export.lua by Cpt. Zeen (D/L from his website) Instrument files with activated exports Modified ViewportHandling.lua: The exported instruments are switched OFF on the main screen. Why should they bother us, if we have them external? Furthermore this gives some more FPS. If you have any questions or issues: pls let me know.   41. Ensure that the CAS is on for yaw, pitch and roll. Also the ARI should compensate for this. Check the Belsimtek manual. In real world aircraft, the secondary effect of rudder is roll. The first thing one is taught in training is "Effects of Controls". When one applies rudder, the advancing wing moves at a faster rate than the receding wing thereby creating more lift on the advancing wing and hence a rolling moment. Hence the roll you are observing with yaw. As an aside. The secondary effect of roll is adverse aileron yaw. The downward deflected aileron causes more drag (because it is creating more lift) than the upward deflected aileron and causes a slight yaw in the opposite direction to the roll. Not all aircraft exhibit this. As far as the simulation is concerned, I am not sure how realistic this is. I haven't had a chance to try it myself.

  43. Надеюсь по РЭБ будут какие-то подвижки, если помехи будут выполнять маскировочные функции, то это серьёзно усилит живучесть штурмов. Хотябы если бы вернули реальную дальность прожига, в Ло1 например было 20км (хотя по мне они ещё на меньших дальностях должны прожигаться) - было не так то просто на радаре понять, где цели. Хех :), ну я предполагаю, что весной следующего года "выкатим".
