Yep, OvGME seem to be unable to handle larger zips. Haven't found a way around this yet. So the heavy zip will need unzipping. I guess the best workaround for the time being would be another module manager. But I really like OvGME, so I stick with it despite this issue. -

No, there are around 60 assets in total in the US pack. With every update I have to go through and test all the assets to make sure they work as intended. Also, more or less every asset get some sort of change with every update. No matter how small the change is, I have to perform the tests. Because in DCS, a single comma at the wrong place will ruin your day. -

I think sometimes it's hard to grasp the amount of time any form of (even basic) testing takes. The US pack contains around 60 different assets, imagine performing 10 tests per asset. That's 600 tests. There's also a lot of work involving the release, everything from cleaning up the folders, removing redundant files to creating the loadout spec sheets and updating the web. That said, we're almost there now. The testers received a RC1 of the US update yesterday. If nothing major has broken I'm releasing it very soon. -

The only time I can't add a custom engine sound is when the unit is equipped with radar. Due to a DCS bug, the engine sound will then be locked in position, so the vehicle will drive away from the sound. Very strange bug. -

I've said it before. For every update I'm going through all the weapons and radars and updating them. For example, the SM-3 will behave differently in the upcoming USA pack update. -

I started the work on the Buk M3 but didn't have time to finish it before I the last release of the Russia pack. But it will most likely be included in the next. -

Just as @antiload said. It's configured as Fire at Point. The drone is configured as a (very slow) cruise missile in DCS. -

Status update I'm in the final testing phase of the Military Asset Pack USA 1.1.0, with the superb help of testers, finding the kind of issues we want fixed before release! I'm very happy with the progress. -

Thank you! At this stage I've only done functional testing per new asset. When all additions and changes has been done I will perform acceptance testing before release. Good news on this topic though. Since I reached out to the community about testing I've received several offers. Their help will make the testing be more effective and result in higher end quality. Great! Haha, you might be correct. Though, when adding new assets and updating old ones, I try to remove redundant texture files and optimize the needed ones. So the added texture weight due to new assets will at least to some degree be mitigated by texture optimization. Thanks, it really does help. And as I've mentioned before, 100% of the donations goes into new assets. As I mention in my FAQ. If anyone is interested in purchasing 3D models, you need to speak with me first. I have a very particular selection criteria for my model purchases, based on past experiences and knowledge gained from making a lot of assets. By the way, to give you all a hint of why things take time. Here's an example. The table below shows the different kind of objects to make just to finish the MIM-104 system of assets. There's a total of 76 boxes to be checked. And that's just the models and textures, no code, sound or anything else. -

The RWR/HARMID mod is different from the others since it replaces core game files. I always save the path in my mods, so you can easily see where it goes. If I knew of a way to update the HTS/HAD table I would already have included it in the mod. The DTC mod seem to be able to update the HTS/HAD table though (https://github.com/the-paid-actor/dcs-dtc). -
