  1. I agree with what @Abburo said. But I might also add that for example my Tor's have a more advanced configuration than the core game version. My version do actually have a separate SR and TR, unlike the core version. That's why my version have multiple missile channels.
  2. You need to carefully remove all my old assets, since they are now included in the country asset packs. Otherwise you will get conflicts and crashes. But I haven't changed the unique asset identifiers in DCS, so it's only the distribution method that has changed (packs vs single assets). So older missions should work as long as you install all the needed asset packs.
  3. Yet another asset for the updated China pack...
  4. I tried your mission. Just check the Group attack setting to every one of the 8 bombing lines. They fired two ALCMs each and no acrobatics.
  5. Thanks! I have to configure which animation arguments should be transmitted over the network for MP, most likely we're missing the propeller argument at the moment. As I almost never run MP I didn't catch it.
  6. Correct, the path is saved in the zip. It goes into the DCS Open Beta folder, not the saved games folder.
  7. I'll add the missing textures to the issue log. I'm reworking all my weapons and radars to make them more realistic, as baseline I use data that's become available during ongoing conflicts. I believe the radar of the core game Gepard is too weak, that's why it won't engage the Kh-101. My China asset pack contains the PGZ-09 which is pretty much the same asset as the Gepard, and it will engage the Kh-101 (but it's pretty close range and engaging it doesn't necessarily mean defeating it). I've held off the infantry additions as DCS has hinted about core game infantry updates several times lately. That and the fact that I'm terrible at human animations. If you want to chat about your work send me a message in Discord (currenthill). Yep, I have the Kh-15 on my list since I released both the 95 and the 160.
  8. Another asset for the China pack update...
  9. Yep, as soon as there is any sort of pictures or video clips available. At the moment we don't even know how it looks. The good old render you provided is actually the Boeing X-51 Waverider. And I doubt Russia outsourced their missile design and manufacturing to the US. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_X-51_Waverider
  10. Hey! 1. I'll take a look. I must have been luckier during my tests, since I only experienced this a couple of times. 2. I don't think it's possible to fix this, that's how the core game works. But I'll take a look. I've never read anything about it carrying dumb bombs, do you mean as a fictious loadout?
  11. Development update The next release will be the Military Asset Pack China 1.1.0. Here's the current changelog, it's work in progress and things will definitely be added to it before release (probably another two assets). And as you know, I don't set release dates. Added ZTL-11 AFV Changed HQ-17A radar and weapon performance Fixed CJ-10 LACM Changed CJ-10 CEP Added PGZ-09 gun trajectory forecast Changed weapons reflection and countermeasures parameters Changed radars reflection and countermeasures parameters
  12. Yep, the HQ-22 is TVM/Semi-active. So no active radar seeker in the missile. https://www.currenthill.com/faq#h.ckdnh9zi893m That is correct! I only develop my asset packs for the latest version of Open Beta. As you point out, there has been a lot of the same questions lately. As it's written on the front page of my site: Make sure you have the latest DCS Open Beta and the latest country pack installed before asking for support. https://www.currenthill.com/faq#h.ckdnh9zi893m
  13. I had no issues with the 3M14 in your mission, all of them hit their targets. I haven't had any issues with the circling since the latest DCS update and my latest Russian pack update.
  14. Strange, I'll take a look. Thanks for the suggestion! Thanks for the suggestion! Yep, it might happen. Well, I've said it before. If downloading my assets is such a burden, why even use them? It's not like I get royalties per copy. The quid pro quo for all the hours I put into my assets is waiting for a download to finish. If admin becomes too much work I would just keep making the assets but not release them publicly. The move to larger packs is how I chose to combat the issue for now. You'll just have to wait and see. I do what I can within the possibilities and limitations of DCS. I use standard features, in this case both unguided and guided munitions. These are standard features in DCS and should be able to use with scripts and such.
  15. Add 'Fire at point', choose Unguided or Guided. If you chose guided, make sure you only put 1 round per fire mission row, otherwise DCS might do strange stuff with the fired rounds. For unguided shells, you can set the amount you want per fire mission. So you can fire both guided and unguided from the same artillery within the running mission.
  16. Thanks! You choose guided or unguided per fire mission in the ME. Just make sure your target is within minimum and maximum range.
  17. Haha, I thought I'd save you from doing the same work, because there's a lot of data to enter.
  18. Yep, I've been playing around with Olympus, and I'm almost done with the database additions of my assets. I will publish them shortly.
  19. Yep! I also believe that would be a good candidate. I'm currently searching for a suitable model of the Z-10 or the Z-19. So it's definitely on the table. I actually have a Buk M3 system in the works. Including the TAR, CP, TELAR and FCR.
  20. It should, since the file is installed in the core DCS folder. It won't work if installed in the saved games folder.
  21. We'll see. As a general note, in the latest newsletter ED announced the 2024 release of new naval and ground units. And the 2024 and beyond video showed some of them (Abrams, MaxxPro). Since I spend a lot of time making the assets I will have to chose my projects carefully in the future. I don't want to invest a lot of time into assets that ED will be releasing in a couple of months. It's definitely a guessing game, but I'll try to keep away from assets that ED likely will release. Yep, I wish modding support was more of a thing, a well documented open framework would be amazing.
  22. Anything is possible, but it isn't something I support. And it will become a lot harder with every update since I consolidate more of the configurations.
  23. Yep, it's a double-edged sword. There are pros and cons with both versions. But I develop everything on the latest DCS Open Beta since it will give me the latest DCS features. Unfortunately the HARM stuff is out of my wheelhouse. I just collect the data from my assets and present them in these configurations. Maybe other users know more about this and can help? But thank you for reminding me to update the RWR and HARM ID pack with the latest units. It looks like you're not using the latest DCS Open Beta, or an older asset of mine. This was an issue that was corrected with the latest Open Beta together with my latest Military Asset Pack Russia. And I just tested, and it works fine. No circling. Make sure your target point is outside the green minimum range zone and inside the red maximum range zone. See my FAQ: https://www.currenthill.com/faq Great!
  24. Thanks! I lowered the engagement range for the Pantsirs, but didn't want to make it too short since there are other targets than incoming missiles that it'll hit fine further away. The Vikhrs are hard to hit since they're more unstable in their flight path. It takes more than one Pantsir to defend from those. The 2S38 suffers from the issue of 'not enough lead in the air'. We would really need different kind of ammunition for it to be really useful, like proximity-fused HE. Ah, my assets are developed and tested with the latest DCS Open Beta. With all the changes being made between the DCS updates, it's impossible to have the assets working with older versions.
