  1. Thanks! Yep, I had to do some smoke and mirrors workarounds. The mines are actually really small vehicles which will fire a short range projectile at the approaching target. So you can say that they work as proximity mines. But it's very close as you can see in the video. The approaching vehicles will notice them just a couple of meters before and try to steer away. But depending on your mine placement they may not succeed. It's also very dependent on the vehicle speed, just like in real time. If they go very fast they don't have the time to steer away. I don't have any control of that, I think it's a built-in feature of Google Drive. I have no idea why preview doesn't work, they are ordinary zip files.
  2. I added the TM-62M anti-tank mine to the Russia pack. They're not perfect since DCS doesn't really have the mechanics for mines. You set them as invisible and the approaching vehicles won't see them until they're really up-close. Here's an example.

  9. Nope, the chaff feature is hard coded in the scheme.
  10. Haha, I was all over that when I saw the pictures. But unfortunately I can't think of a way to add flares to cruise missiles in DCS. The closest we have in DCS the decoy schemes which will allow for chaff to be released.
  11. Yep, the unit has a maxVerticalDeviationAngle set to 5 deg.
  12. I'll take a look. Yep, the asset pack folder with all the subfolders goes into your C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech. If you extract the main asset folder it should automatically create the subfolders below (Database, Shapes, Sounds etc). I don't quite understand how anything can be overwritten if you do it like that. If it still doesn't work there has to be some sort of conflict going on. Check your log. So you enter the thread of my assets and ask for advice to replace them? I suggest you ask elsewhere.

  17. Yep, that's a known error which we discovered a couple of pages back in this thread. It turned out that OvGME doesn't handle files over around 4 GB, i.e it won't recognize it as a valid mod package. The solution/workaround is to unzip the main folder in the zip and it'll work fine. Thanks, yep, since it's a modern/futuristic missile I made it harder to hit in the final maneuver. Modern antiship missiles have evasive maneuvers built-in, but since there aren't any way to implement those in DCS I have to create these kind of workarounds/emulations of the actual thing.
  18. a) I can only speak for my assets and their weapons. I can get all my missiles and guided bombs to work in 2.9 (disclaimer: as far as I'm aware of). I just fixed the CJ-10, 3M14T, 9M729 and the SPEAR 5 LACM. But I still have to release the updated packs with these last cruise missile fixes. b) Yep, works fine.
  19. I don't see the issue. I was able to search, track and fire a missile at the Tu-95MSM from a Su-27 without any issues.
  20. No problem. Since I now have my country packs I will make all kind of changes per pack before releasing. It will be a combination of fixes, new assets, changes etc with every country pack release.   21. I did some testing, it looks like the weight has an impact. A max weight Tu-95MSM will give around 4 deg pitch and with a light weight it will be more straight. I also checked other prop aircraft and it's the same with them. So it's nothing unique with my asset. But I haven't looked deeper into it to see what we can configure yet.
