  1. It's definitely a false contact. There is no aircraft there. Actual contacts at proper distance (<50NM) are steady and easy to lock
  2. First stage isn't very useful, so you could keep it for AP if it suits best your needs. But, there is also the movable trigger that can be well suited for AP override, it's even somewhat stable in the down position. Or, add an axis 2 button on the big paddle and use it for AP override Plenty of choices on the virpil
  3. Maybe the OP is trying to lock a false contact?
  4. It has been reported that since the update, the files that need to be modified is : VTB_viewport_init.lua, not VTB_init.lua
  5. This is what I call the mom/off/on trick! Virpil panels use this for instance. This looks fantastic, but I was hoping someone to manufacture them… as less time making this is more time making something else. I’d be paying a decent price if these were available for purchase… Which guard and micro switch do you use ?
  6. On Virpils you can use the trigger « guard » or the paddle for this
  7. Yes! It's tuned to be IRL like. But you can disable it, or increase radius / change tilt in the special options.
  8. Hi, I'm looking for switch guards, where the guard has an internal switch do detect when it's open. Does this thing exist? I know the mom/off/on trick, this solution would be more elegant (even if more expensive)
  10. Haha you can as is, but you need to be cunning!
  11. Yes, they have a position limiter ring.
  12. I forgot to post the end of the story : Leo Bodnar acknowledged a bad batch, and sent me perfectly working switches for free : perfect customer support! These switches are really handy, you get a 12 pos switch triggering 12 logical buttons, with a single wire pair. I needed 7 of these, this avoids turning my button box into a noodle soup.
  13. There can be a lot of explanations, maybe the IP designation was somewhat off? Pressing again on magic unlock does cancel the IP drift correction. Yes I'm sure about BAD theta being geographic!
  14. Be careful, BAD rho theta are geographic, not magnetic Also, the weird values displayed after designating IP are your estimated drift, they are normal. Don't press again the magic unlock, or you will cancel the update. Just go straight to target without messing anything on INS
  15. Which button do you press when you say "press align button"? It should be the VAL button on the PCN Also, do you see the number "100" displayed on the PCN when you press VAL?
  16. Damn... that's bad news. Thanks!
  17. Hi, I want to add failures to client slots, but in the failures tab, the list is empty for client slots. The failures are available only on the player slot. I have tried with M2000-C, F/A-18, A-10CII Is this normal?
  18. It’s BF8, and you definitely should get CCIP piper like this, the procedure is exactly the same as BF1, BF2 or BF6. Try again and send a screenshot if you don’t get the piper, this will make finding the mistake easier. BLF is the CCRP training mode used to get CCRP piper without actual ordnance.
  19. No, GPU only required if you have engine off. ALCM can be disabled in the mission editor, so you should be used to check availability in kneeboard any time you use ALCM
  20. Does the kneeboard say « ALCM Available » in the loadout page?
  21. I’m sorry for you Joe, it works here
  22. Center hard point only! It’s a rack of 18 bombs
  23. Precisely, this is what FBW G-Limiter AA else CHARGES is made for
