  1. It you stay on (un)stable you will keep the bug even longer.
  2. You are absolutely right... But so far it seems this is a base problem in all G2 headsets. I'm not sure that replacement will fix it, that they can recalibrate, and even acknowledge the issue. I use my headset for DCS only, so it's ok after home made calibration. FS2020 is terrible. So to anyone needing a headset for any other game than DCS I would unfortunately recommend the new Vive Pro
  3. Nope standalone too has issues this morning.
  4. Also, it is worth noting that rounding to first digit is a maximum error of 90m, which is a 3 min average drift in class 1. You don’t really need to go to 9m with an extra digit, as that extra accuracy is lost in 18s of drift.
  5. There is only one displayed decimal. The two "blind" decimals are bonus.
  6. Thanks! What about sweet spot ?
  7. Hi! The Vive Pro 2 is not an interesting upgrade from the G2 if playing DCS only? My main concerns about the G2: - Eye strain, despite careful debug tool calibration, isn't as great as an occulus quest for instance - Head tracking is still wobbly, not much when I look forward, but a lot when looking at side panels. Expecially, what about FOV? Thanks!
  8. Hi everyone, In January I did calibrate my headset using debug tool and a DIY calibration set-up using a SLR camera which was very effective (see previous posts) Interesting info, I just had my G2 replaced under warranty. The old values are not too bad and definitely improve, but eye strain came back nevertheless. So it seems it's not 100% transposable between headsets.
  9. When I have mouse stuck, what I do is Alt+Tab, Win+Y, Alt+Tab For whatever reason I need to remove focus to DCS windows in order to have WinY working
  10. Just one more thing, you can check if the aircraft is pre aligned by checking the kneeboard for “ALCM available”
  11. If you look closely to the INS mode button, you will see an "ALCM" position just beside the "ALN" one ALCM is a mode which is in theory always available. But to work, it requires that the plane was shutdown fully aligned and not moved by an inch since. Enabling the "ALCM" checkbox does not switch your alignment to ALCM automatically. It just ensures your plane starts in a condition where it has been aligned before shutdown. So you need to align using the ALCM mode. If the checkbox is not enabled, it will just result in a messed up alignment as conditions are not met. Also, ALCM conditions can be disabled per mission in the mission editor. Beware of this if you do ALCM on a MP server.
  12. Hi, it's openbeta (2.7.5.10869)
  13. I have the freeze on World Preload 1/60 one time every 20-30 game load. But, in my case, it also crashes the system (full display freeze including mouse and no response to any keystroke including Ctrl-Alt-Suppr )

You might be looking for Decoy Release Program Knob Up / Down in countermeasure category .
  15. 300ft, level. The Vz cue and arrows guide you to be there, optimal is the low end of the bracket. Speed : M0.9 is perfect, the slower the more chance you have to be hit by ground defenses.
  16. CCIP training is maybe not yet updated. It works the same way, but you won't have steering cues, only the classical route deviation "house" and target cross, like in NAV, to guide you to the BAD. And if I remember right the CCIP piper is shown only after overfly.
  17. Just look at this example:
  18. Nothing. The cues appear as soon as you have designated the IP with "Magic Slave/AG Designate/INS Position Update", and the HSI points to the BAD immediately. The designator stays there until you overfly the IP. You can use it for refining IP update by pressing again the same button. As soon as you overfly, designator is hidden, and steering cues stay there.
  19. Ah yes, more precisely LIM alert. It warns you of overspeed relative to : - Gear down (around 260kts) - Slats out (complex rule) - Or maximum airframe limit (around 750kts )
  20. Sounds like you are hearing the Bingo alarm. Despite the name, you didn't win any money, it means your internal fuel quantity has reached the bingo fuel setting, which is 2800 by default.
  21. You can have PI with CCIP! But you won’t have the wing cues . Also, all the training missions do not reflect the recent AG changes, they are being updated. But the CCRP-PI instant mission definitely does work well.
  22. The tutorials are maybe outdated, but you are doing some mistakes too. You will not get steering cues with BF1, as this is CCIP-PI. Steering cues are only shown in CCRP-PI Also (and this is not up to date in tutorials) you should never use REC when doing IP bombing. Just designate IP and wait overfly. If you want to try CCRP PI, there is a mission included where the waypoint and offset (BAD) are all set up, you just have to configure your PCA and PPA, WSC forward, designate the IP (little bridge) and follow cues! INS starts with drift so the reticle is quite far from the bridge, for more challenge.
  23. On the PCN, TR is remaining time to target. TD is desired time to target, you set a time and you get an acceleration cue on the HUD by pressing TOP on PCA. It won’t work if the desired time differs too much from the remaining time (something like 50% I think)
  24. I never use it but I'm 99% sure it's implemented. There is a date limit for each aircraft and weapon and you can set the date in the mission editor.
  25. That's strange. You should try a DCS repair if it does it on the free flight mission
