  1. These are the diodes. They are needed to get your switches working correctly. Can I see the underside of this photo? It would help me to help you know where to place them on your switches.
  2. Diodes are missing. I'll be home in an hour and expain then. Or just look at your 3rd picture where the PCB is labeled D8 and D9. You will have to keep them in your wiring in order to keep it working correctly.
  3. I thought the water injection was used to keep the TIT down to allow for a higher %RPM at takeoff. Is this incorrect?
  4. From cold engine performance to unmanned UAV fighter planes. Derail...
  5. I guess as a progress update. 17 people have logged onto the Public Teamspeak today alone. Everyone is welcome. Cobra commander has been using this Teamspeak for his 555 public missions and they have been a great time. We were using TARS tonight and it was a good deal of fun when we got it working.
  6. Double check this. I know what you are trying to say. But what we are talking about is Colder Air the the same altitude will give better performance to your engines than hot air. Not only will the engines produce more power in cold air to overcome the greater density, But your wings are more effective in the denser air and you will climb to your cruise altitude faster.
  7. I will take a leap of faith with this statement as I think it is true. All aircraft and aircraft engines perform better at lower tempertures. Provided that they are already running. It may not want to start in the 1st place. I'm sure someone is about to pull out an aircraft than will make this false.
  8. I don't know if it is or not. But a simple on/off switch will work. I'm not home to look the file over. I do all of my forum browsing on a smart phone... Check the keyboard.lua and see what that looks like for canopy open and close. That's a single button press and it works fine.
  9. You have to click and hold till the canopy is fully closed in the cockpit. That's always been that way. If you build a panel with switches it would work if you used a non momentary switch.
  10. An SA2 is like a telephone pole. The better question should be were the hell did the other 13 go? Some poor farmer shit his pants when bits of the sky started falling.
  11. The irony of reading this forum with a smart phone that can't scan itself. It's crushing.
  12. If your still looking for a squad but no ones online, be sure to check out this teamspeak. ch.teamspeak.cc:9083 It has a good crowd for US players at night.
  13. I was playing around with this while waiting for the arma 2 update to finish. I managed 41338 with the weather at 20C and 760 in the ME. I'm wishing now i would of checked it before I tried to see how high I could fly. I think 42k is doable when I drop 5C off.
  14. Pressure altitude From wiki. In aviation, pressure altitude is the indicated altitude when an altimeter is set to an agreed baseline pressure setting. The baseline pressure is 1013.25 hPa, equivalent to 1013.25 millibar, or 29.92 inches of mercury. This setting is equivalent to the air pressure at mean sea level (MSL) in the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA). Pressure altitude is primarily used in aircraft performance calculations and in high-altitude flight (above the transition altitude). In radio communication, the baselinepressure settingis referred to by the Q code QNE. [1] I wouldn't know how to explain it anymore than that. There's a whole chapter in my ifr book about this stuff. It gets confusing very quickly.
  15. What are your weather settings? I'm sorry I didn't take the time to read all the post. A lot of manuals and charts for aircraft performance are based on a standard day. That is 15C and 1013.25 milibars of mercury at sea level. I hope this helps with testing. If it already hasn't be said.
  16. Right control+ enter will show your control position and trim in game.
  17. The new patch changed them. Have to learn it all over again. I made this post the other day. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65998&page=22
  18. Are you running windows 7? Try looking at users/saved games/ eagle dynamics/ warthog/ config/input/aircraft/A10C/joystick. Im on my phone but this should be close to where you need to look.
  19. What version of the F35 are they buying?
  20. Idk but Sunday there was 9 people on the public teamspeak. It was a good time. Sorry you missed it. It was a lot of fun for those who were on.
  21. Lol lesson one: how to perform a forward slip to land. Lesson two: Never perform a forward slip to land with passengers. It freaks them out. That's about a word for word what my instructor taught me. Funny shit.
  22. I don't remember what was done about it. But a while back playing on the 104th friendly AI fighters would engage and kill friendly client KA50s. It was always the F18s. Damn navy. They would go way out of there way to do so also. I don't know if it was fixed if what became of it. Maybe someone from the 104th remembers.

Ive been looking forward to Jet Thunder. If the multiplayer follows, so will I.
  24. Trial and error. I got it working. In bold is what I added to get it to work. Simple but hard enough for me.
  25. okay.... heres what i have now. As far as I can tell this is the new code for input. When joy_btn22 and Joy_btn21 are off I want boat switch to center. Ill let you know when I get that working.
