  1. The same logic like for every other EA module released, you are supposed to BETA TEST this and give feedback. ;)
  2. That the Viggen never had internal cannons/guns, only gunpods.
  3. I'm getting curious here, how does this actually work with the WW2 Asset pack? You have to buy it but what if these units are used on a MP server and you don't have them? You can't connect?
  4. Hi RagnarDa, i tried the Viggen after some time again. Dropped some high drag bombs on some ground units. I tried to land but did a crash landing(looks i'm a little rusty in the Viggen  ) and at that moment DCS stopped working(sliding on the runway backwards with thrust reverser on) , no error window, no track, i had to close DCS via the task manager because it was not reacting anymore after a couple of minutes of waiting. In the last DCS Log the last lines are: 2019-11-17 17:48:09.466 ERROR VIGGEN: HeatBlur: Assert failed: Value out of range. -. Was nan. I don't know if it is related to the above error. dcs.zip
  5. Slow. :( No.  :smilewink:
  6. The funny part is, that's exactly how it works right now because clouds are not synced in MP, so hiding in one doesn't mean the enemy is seeing one.
  7. You don't need the "Cont"(just click a second time and it will rotate one step to the right from Sect to cont). Just turn it on sect/cont and use the NWS/IFF interrogate button - check your key bindings. Works like that for years and so in the latest OB of DCS.
  8. Hi TristarEsp, welcome to the forums. To summarize a little what was said in this thread. There are currently two "turbulences" modeled in DCS. 1. The wake turbulence - which you have to activate in the options -> gameplay (pic 1) 2. Wether turbulence - which is configured in the mission editor (pic 2) You can open every mission (campaign/user made) with the mission editor and change for example the weather preset and turbulences. I was quit busy landing my F-16 with crosswind and turbulence set to 12 -> nose was constantly moving left/right/up/down at low speed. Is there room for improvements? Probably.
  9. Theoretically yes, because the stable branch is "only" bringing the the stable version to the latest beta version.
  10. Thank you very much for this beautiful looking new cockpit RAZBAM

    PCA/HUD updates

    - you select the bombs (pic 1) - you press the marked button (pic 2) - you get AG mode/designator (pic 3)
  12. Thank you very much Sir, this was driving me crazy because i couldn't figure out why. I did a cold ramp start (like you said) and every thing is dead centered. This only shows that i fly the WW2 stuff way to less, to be honest the 109 and D9 where collecting dust until i bought the A8(enjoy flying her very much). @MODS This can be closed/deleted whatever you like, "problem" solved.
  13. You should watch what happens if you drop cargo on a moving ship(heli pad, carrier...) The cargo is staying where you dropped it and the ship is moving under the cargo, after some time the ship moved on but the cargo is floating in the air (where you dropped it on the ship).
  14. Negative, no auto rudder or other assist functions, no trim tabs set for the 109 either.
  15. Hallo everybody, i have a wired problem(bug?) only in my WW2 birds. If i fly any of my WW2 birds i can see that my Roll/Pitch/Rudder axis deviate from my physikal HOTAS hardware, my stick is dead center but in the FW190 it's a little up and to the right on the control indicator. I can see some variation which axis are affected depending on what WW2 bird i use. I don't have any "helper" activated in the special tabs. This is only happening in the WW2 birds, all other modules jets/helis are not affected by this! Some strange observation i made in the axis settings: - if i open the axis tune setting in one of the WW2 birds my axis is not centered - if i just move the axis a little and let go the axis will centre in the axis tune setting but not in game - if i open the axis tune settings in a jet or heli module everything is immediately centered - no need to move something I already deleted my axis assignments and assigned them again but no luck. It looks like a in-game programmed offset for the axis for that modules? Attached are some pictures showing the problem and the settings. Does anybody else see this or is this just on my end? I did a forum search but couldn't find anything and i hope this is the right spot in the forum to post this.
  16. Hi LeCuvier, i saw this yesterday too after flying the A8 after a couple weeks off. The easiest way to replicate this: - do a air start - time acceleration - nothing else to do - after a little less than 6min and 30sec into the mission the lights go off Track showing the exact same done(including the time acceleration so you don't have to wait 6min) attached. FW190A8_lights_off.trk
  17. I had a testflight against two Mig-29 a week ago or so and was shooting two AIM-120C at them, i thought one of them missed the Mig because i had to use the AIM-9 to finish the last one. I watched the Tacview after that mission and saw that one of my two AIM-120C had intercepted the incoming R-27 from one Mig :D
  18. A video of the problem in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=252190&highlight=wingtip But causes other problems, in this thread if you are interested: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=241142
  19. I can't hear it anymore, all this whining! And the last position is always "...but i'm affacted by the F-16 in MP(damage model...) even if i don't use it..." blah blah blah. THAT is not the problem of ED! Use the stable version and server that use the stable version or if it must be BETA then complain to the operator/mission creator of your every day MP server that this guy should remove the F-16 from the server/mission -> YOUR problem solved! But there are people enjoying it/who want to test and find bugs in SP AND MP "...countermeasures won't rearm..." All you do is literally complaining about that you yourself are not able to use the software branches like they are intended to and blaming the DEV for your own incapability! That is crazy if you think about it! Have fun roasting me
  20. Maybe it's not a problem that this module exist but the documents you have to have to create it. If you are in russia and have them = bad, if you are in a foreign country = no problem legally. Just speculating here like all others
  21. Interesting, i had only little time to fly yesterday but i think i had the opposide problem. I locked something up in CRM->STT, turned away to break the lock and endet up in ACM modes. Edit: Short test, locked up a Mig-29 in ACM, turned away to break the lock -> ACM turned to CRM mode. Turned back to lock the Mig in CRM-STT again, turned away again to break the lock -> CRM/STT turned to ACM mode. Track attached F16_break_lock_ACM-CRM_CRM-ACM.trk
  22. Ok, maybe i missed this but i'm sure that i was only able to use the switches in cockpit at the beginning of the year than i bought my Rift S. By accident i was sitting in my Mi-8 today and tryed to click a button and noticed i was moving the cyclic, also the collective was usable and i could actually fly the MI-8 just with the Rift S controller's, this worked also in the F/A-18 but the throttle didn't work in the F-16 for me, stick yes. Is this a known feature or was this added recently? I couldn't find anything about this in a quick search.
  23. I had one problem today with the Oculus Software, i had no internet today for a couple hours and tried to fly in DCS. DCS started in VR/offline mode without problem but the Oculus software said something of a "Fatal Error Dash....." and put this stupid message direct in my face even in DCS, i was sitting in the cockpit and couldn't use VR because of that stupid error message which i couldn't close. Does somebody have an idea how i can prevent this if this happens again?
  24. You have to be in AG/CCRP mode (make sure TGP is SOI after switching to CCRP) to use all functions you described as missing. And to use CCRP you have to have at least 1 steerpoint for your F-16 in the mission, thats the behaviour since EA release -> WIP
  25. +1 flying at ~400+kn at ~18000ft everything is ok until i use the AAR switch, slight movement on the throttle results in up and down oscilation, using the switch agian stops it immediate. I had this down and fast also yesterday, i believe i used the AAR switch too. Attached is a short track showing the behaviour. F16_shaking.trk
