  1. AI aircraft fly through SA-6 WEZ at these alts 1000ft / 10 000ft / 20 000ft / 25 000ft and max 27 000ft. The top one could be just slightly above SA-6 ceiling. But all other shall be engaged.
  2. Created my own mission to better understand WEZ envelope of many SAM system, but SA-6 is not attacking an AI units. If so, than in only at some ideal conditions (slow speed,...) Most most of time launchers turn into target direction, but without action. SA-6 is fine when engaging Human player. Yes, I almost forgotten. Somebody from ED should look, how 3D model of SA-6 look like (original model from LockOn may be even older), and where missile engine flames are located (to much forward). SA-6_BUG.trk
  3. Hi, is that only me, that after a year I still experiencing CCIP Mk-82 Snake Eye impacts Long, like 20-30 meters? Hope that this will be fixed soon together with CCRP cues now bugged. M2C_CCIP-long_BUG.trk
  4. Still a BUG now after latest patch. Aileron when deflected fully to right is responding a little or not at all with sharp glitchy behaviour. It happens at speed 0.8 Mach and higher .... AND especialy when you pull stick only just a little - leads to aileron Locked. Hopefully will be fixed soon.
  5. +1 Enough of cheating on PvP servers through Score window. The option to hide it shall be in basic server setting in DCS, like jet wash.
  6. I heard rumors, that RazB when creating this module used wrong code alowing them only very limited number of keybinds. So they cant add even single more. What they HAVE TO do is recreate whole script and model with better code. Thats time and money consuming - will not bring much profit to RB. I wonder, if any of RB devs can officialy respond to this and give sight into solving this in future of this great module.
  7. Did some test with CA module and all SHORAD IR systems (US/RU). Fighter crossing Chaparral WEZ at 5000ft and speed 0,8M. Result was VERY POOR performance by Chaparral mainly due to its BUG in guidance (mainly from rear hemisphere).   8. PN_coeffs tune for final interception stage to =1 (pure lead course). This is ED way to fix this problem? SA-2 variant we have in DCS had never ever possibility to guide Pure lead. Why ED not work on the warhead, fuze, 3 types of missile trajectories and ability to guide missile via optical sight under good weather conditions? I know this is not SAM sim, but still, I thing that some of SAM systems deserves more love. But HEy, SA-2 can finaly shot down something
  9. A lot Good stuff added to Hornet lately - Many Thanks ED, but still missing any info about plan to finally create corrected fuzes for CBU´s. Not found in any development plan. I know that asking for any schedule guess, when planned to made it, is not a good habit here, but still I give it a shot.
  10. DCS 2.5.6.60645 Open Beta When other ships are near by the target ship - in Harpoons seeker FOV, R/BL mod will always guide to other ships. Tried designation by MAP or SEA mode, any Harpoon profile setting... no matter what... same wrong result. My appologies, if already reported before and is REPORTED and worked on by ED team.   13. As the name of this topic says. Trim works fine except the inverted Trim surfaces (Ailerons, Elevators, possibly even Rudder trim) and cockpit Trim indicators. If you trim nose high - indicator and elevator trim surfaces shows exact opposite.

You are just kidding me, not true, no-one can be such a "..." to mark this [CORRECT AS IT IS] If mention only single script value of fuse distance of only 20m, its more than clear, than there is something terribly wrong. Which have been already prooved by track files. Will not talk here again, about possibility to change fuse setting inflight / three flypath guidance method (pure, half lead, K method) / leathality of warhead fragments at certain distances / ability to track and guide a missile on target after beeing lost for a moment. - Many of these things is not problem of only SA-2, but also most of other SAM systems in game.
  15. I really dont know if this BUG was fixed since my first report. But yesterday, my friend found same AGM-84D TRUE HDG thing is still there... than I confiremed his report with my own test. ED, Please FIX ASAP

  17. Hi BIGNEWY, I found an SA-2 script with SA-2 missile properties including prox fuze and warhead together with an half lead guidance. The walues here are some correct, but mostly not - if compared to majority of open Soviet sources. Biggest problem is the the fuse and warhead... resulting to missiles hit its target only if very slow or at outbound course. Fuse now in DCS set to only 20m - value Sigma inaccuracy of guidance is in script se to 50m. On top of that, the fuse is activating in diferent distances for different type of airframes - BUG - (for F-5E fuze activate in longer distances than for MiG-21). I will not mention here different Damage models of each aircraft module Very nice source of public data in this vid: You can see there that operator could switch guidance between 3-types - not in DCS. They mostly fired two missiles with two different types of guidance to create evasive maneuvers much more difficult for pilot. Fragments are leathal at lower altitudes up to 65m and at thin air (higher alts) up to 200m - if not leathal - it would damage airplane so pilot need to RTB or Eject.   18. Yeah, if you move a little or need to restart alignment, STD HDG is not there anymore. Can cofirm this. Was this already reported? And if so, what was the result? Correct as it is?

We know that in DCS same as RL, the RIM-116A had dual guidance, -1st phase RF guidance on antiship missile radar, -2nd phase in certain distance before impact, missile switched guidance to IR seeker from Stinger missile. Possible reasons: 1) May be because off IR seeker have to big FOV and in will switch from original target to other missile fired from ship showing to RIM-116 seeker its hot tail. I suspect, that in RL, designers were aware of this problem... and I assume, that they made(keep) seeker FOV narrow or with inverted logic...to not guide on very hot spot but one with much less IR signature (incoming missile). 2) Homing on enemy antiship missile radioaltimeter or missile radar not working in DCS really...why? dont know....   20. Again, I see a bug in that Unable to change altitude elevation after presed TDC depress (switching to BIAS) in TWS AUTO mode. Because if done same thing in TWS MAN mode (pressing TDC depress and switching to BIAS), than I can change altitude elevation.

  22. THXVM, SD for info! Will not ask, when... :D Im looking forward to time, when will laugh to Viper pilots captured on ground by hostile forces after ejecting, me able to fly and RTB with one engine still operating after beeing hit by R60, AAA or Igla.
  23. This is a avarage result of a damage caused by beeing hit by any missile (big or small). Since Hornet was released in early Alpha, I didnt need to solve engine fire or fuel leakage, because every time beeing hit, I ended up without wings - falling from sky as a brick. Hornet is so fragile now, that Im afraid even to touch it. One can expect rigid airframe suitable for naval operation in salty enviroment, but not in DCS for now.
  24. +1 Very, very good post Martin2487 I hope that dev still have these somewhere noted to be done. Would be great shame, if we will miss these in complete Hornet.
