No luck unfortunately - description is 'CCIP GUN CROSS OCCULT. This allows the option to occult the TVV behind the CCIP gun cross in CCIP mode by selecting YES.' So as far as I can see it is only the TVV that is affected, and not the targeting diamond. More practice needed.

Thanks - will check this out. My gunnery is hit and miss (literally) so if I can just align the pipper with a diamond I think I may stand a better chance...

Hi All, after some advice/assistance if possible, as I don't know what I am seeing is correct. Started to play with guns, and am designating targets with TGP, so setting TGP as SOI, identifying a target and setting it as SPI, then make HUD SOI and select weapons to guns. As I roll in I can see the TGP designating diamond, but as the gunnery reticule aligns with the diamond it 'blanks' out the diamond, so all I see is the reticule and not the point of aim I set up from the TGP. Is this correct?

Have you checked your Windows Advanced power settings - and ensure they are set to 'High' or 'Extreme', and not Balanced? Start; Settings; System; Power and Sleep; Additional Power Settings - Choose or Customise a Power Plan.

Hi - just opened up 2.7.3 beta to check if any updates. Following that opened up 2.7.2 - which asked me if I wished to 'update' to 2.7.3 - which after selecting yes proceeded to copy files from the beta installation. Could also then install Marianas. Is stable now 2.7.3?

Can verify this works. Had similar issues a few months ago, after building a new PC, so was 'clean', yet DCS would stutter every few seconds. I managed to reduce it using in game settings, but was still noticeable. With the FPS counter on I would watch it move around 90/110 then suddenly drop to around 40 and back up again. After installing a 3rd party program (namely MSI Dragon Center) and selecting a performance setting - the stutter disappeared. I then embarked on finding out what changes had been made by MSI DC - one of them was the Advanced power setting to extreme from balanced. As the PC was new I wiped everything (as MSI DC had messed with some other stuff I wasn't happy with), re-installed windows, updates, etc, and without using MSI DC played with the power settings, and purely moving from balanced to high increased performance and removed the stutter.

Tried uninstalling/re-installing? One other thing to mention - and not sure if it affects you - is if you have MSI Dragon Centre installed it also installs a 'network optimiser' - which is is bit of a lie. It managed to slow my connection down from 138mb/s down to around 2 - which might explain your lengthy download?

No problems here - downloaded the beta yesterday with stable already previously installed. 'Stable' is 2.7.2; 'Beta' is 2.7.3. Think during the install I had a small window pop up asking if I wanted to copy modules across (or something along those lines) - to which I selected yes. All key bindings etc all good. Only thing that differs is my pilots logbook - which to me is no biggy as I only tend to use the beta to check out new features. Holy s**t - seriously??? Thought I was doing well with around 130mb/s?!

When you say 'had a target locked' - what with - the missile or TGP?

Apologies to all who appear offended - purely put a shout out for those who were interested. Started putting together a new PC after a few years out of the PC home build scene, unaware of the GPU issue, so was stuck needing one. Quite possibly one of the better companies I have ordered from, and if prepared to pick and choose can get some really good deals on other PC components. Look at alternative sellers - prices are up...!

Shame. Sorted my stuttering out on all maps. What settings do you have set in Nvidia control panel. Only change I have made is to set Power Management Mode to 'Prefer maximum performance'. I did a couple of other tweaks in my BIOS but cannot recall exact details - I think I enabled PBO, and CPU C states was disabled. Apologies as cannot see your hardware setup - but any BIOS or AMD Chipset updates available?

Similar used to happen to me in 2.5.6. If with a wingman lined up on the runway - (A10C2, Enemy Within Campaign), as soon as I started rolling he would hammer past me with an acceleration of a startled jackrabbit normally taking out my right wingtip.

Out of curiosity what are your advanced power settings set to? I had a lot of stuttering issues which were resolved by selecting either high or extreme power plan instead of the 'stock' balanced.

Tried for 3 days!!! ONE successful (as I would call it!) takeoff!!! Albeit I eventually got a straight acceleration across the grass after veering left off the tarmac, wrestled the right wing back down level then managed to hit a molehill that launched me skywards, accelerated through a pretty hairy hard left hand bank into S&L flight - yeah - I'll take that one! Help!

Is this the same issue? OP states 'goes back to main menu'? Just tried the same - Me109, Channel Map, Create Fast Mission - 'Generating' bar appears - does not accomplish any percentage, then drops the bar and reports error message “getMissionNode Nodeslds is empty” where the mission description would be in the advanced mission generation window.

Have you tried the Asus AI Suite, which I believe will conservatively automate the overclocking process...

No problems on my setup with same pedals. Max AUW, brakes on, throttle to max, brakes off, rolling and lift all within reasonable runway thresholds.
