Well, Russia has 0 (in words, zero!) 5th generation fighters, and I don't see anybody attacking Russia. China also don't have a single 5th generation aircraft. Brazil is as big as USA and don't have a single 5th generation airplane! India ... And all these countries have double, tipple and in case of China, multiple GDP growth compared to USA and EU. USA and EU is making a big mistake by borrowing (read "print") money to buy weapon systems that are not needed. Unless the plans are to concur the world by military force ...

Well, nowadays high fidelity simulators can do almost everything, except a G-force. So, build 100 F-35 simulators and you can have 1000 hours of F-35 flying every day! Have pilots to log 20 to 30 hours a year in a real F-35 and that's it. Why should we spend a trillion of dollars, money that we don't have to begin with, on a weapon system that can be simulated with great success? Also, if F-35 is so good, why in the world do we need 2500 of them? It is more then obvious that we don't need that many of them for our defense, that's for sure.

That is long overdue indeed.

We do need F-35's as well as F-22's. However, we certainly do not need 2500 of the F-35's. Two hundred or so, of F-35's would do just fine for our defense.

Italy has enormous debt of 120% of its GDP. And Netherlands ... Well it appears that Netherlander's average borrower has the largest debt of all in Europe (some 240% over average income, if I am not mistaken). This was a result of massive, unrealistic equity loans that were given to borrowers in Netherlands, people were buying cars with money from equity loans, they were spending money on luxury vacations and trips ... Hmm ... I wonder were are Italy and Netherlands going to find the money to buy all of those F-35's?

This is indeed very serious attack on dedicated servers providers. We are spending our money, countless man hours in creating an maintaining maps and servers for everybody to enjoy. We need help, serious help.

How is this possible to begin with? How can that person bring so many airplanes in the air?

Togg, EtherealN, sungsam, what is your internet connection upload speeds? I got 15Mbps download, but only 1 Mbps upload speed for about $90 (about 65 Euro, right?) a month.

From your perspective, billions of dollars might be peanuts. But, in my country, the USA, many (majority?) workers don't have company pensions , the number of people on food stamps is at the historic levels ever, the least number of vacation days among industrial world countries, 50 million people without health insurance, infrastructurewise 12% of the nations bridges are structurally deficient, police department closers due to budget shortfalls, high education cost/debt at record levels.... and on and on and on .... For you, above facts might be peanuts. But for us, who live through all of this, it is a real life. And 50 billion dollars could do a lots of good here .... You are from Sweden, I wonder what is Sweden debt to GDP ratio? I am sure it is less that what we have, which is now at 100% and rising. Also, how many people are on food stamps in Sweden?

Well, there is a big discussion right now about a Defense Department cutting 500 billion dollars over 10 years, and that is 50 billion dollars per year. So, 40 billion dollars is indeed big money. Even in the context of 3 trillion dollars budget. Specially, if you don't have that money ...

Unlike Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland ... USA can print money to pay its obligation. It can do that without much problems as long as US Dollar is a world currency. However, few days ago, it was reported in the news that China and Japan have agreed to use their own currency in bilateral trade. If other countries continue to follow, US dollar will loose its value in a hurry.

USA debt to GDP is now at 100%.

It is time to move to Brazil. Apparently there is a lots of Portuguese construction workers in Brazil right now working on World Cup facilities. Also, some higher education positions are better payed in Brazil then in Portugal. Or just spend less for military and you will not have to have higher taxes.

Ask Greeks or Spaniards or Portuguese or Italians or Icelanders ...

We are not going to war any time soon, we don't have money. My government borrows 40 cents for every dollar it spends. Our debt to GDP is now at 100% and we continue to borrow ... USA credit rating was reduced few months ago. Iran can just sell its oil to China and India, even at lower price if it has to.

We pay about $80 a month, that is $960 a year. That is $1200 to $2400 a year, to play a game! I don't think my wife would be happy to hear that. Yes I have and it did not work on our server set up. Thus, we still run FC 2 on our dedicated server. We have about three more months going on our server. I doubt we will go beyond that. We already spent about $2500 renting a server buying FC and BS licenses, video cards, spending money in shipping cost, ...

Nothing in that letter about Dedicated Server application. As is right now, it is very expensive to maintain dedicated server. =4c= might not be able to do it for much longer.
